Emiliano’s frown doubled as he scanned Sia from head to toe, he had the urge to go to her and kick her out of his office because he had no time to entertain her at all.
“Sir, I’ll make sure to gather as much information needed”Trey said to Emiliano who nodded and gestured for him to leave as his eyes were fixed on Sia.
Trey gathered his files and headed towards the door only to stop and stole a glimpse at the lady with the baby, but he couldn’t see anything as her entire face was covered, and therefore he made his way out of the office and closed the phone behind him, after he left Sia removed the scarf covering her head and threw it carelessly on the floor and with hate in his eyes Emiliano trailed down to the scarf on his floor and then back to Sia who was still smiling at him.
“Hi Emiliano, Diego and I got bored staying inside that mansion, so we decided to come to you”she said nonchalantly and carefully held Diego in her arms and looked at Emiliano with a mocking smile that said ‘I’m here, deal with it.
“We are not friends, kindly carry yourself out of my office”he said coldly and leaned back not forgetting to get his phone in his hand and Sia cursed inside her heart because she specifically came for the damned phone however the Casanova was not going to let it go that easily.
“Mom sent me to give you your file, you forgot it at home”she plainly said her voice low and innocent but Emiliano knew her well by now, she was a little chameleon who changed colors to suit her environment, and currently she was trying to sweet talk him in getting her way, but he wasn’t gonna barge.
“And where is… the file?”he asked with a raised brow and Sia beamed with excitement as she answered him with so much amusement.
“Well I forgot it at home, oops my bad”saying that she sat down and held Diego carefully in her arms, Emiliano peeked at the boy and saw he was sleeping. With a frown, he observed Sia and came to a conclusion, the lady had a huge problem, and she wanted to drag him down as well, but he wasn’t gonna let her.
“Do you enjoy causing trouble, tell me don’t you have a job or you are a freeloader”Emiliano asked her with a sarcastic smile hoping to hurt her feelings with his harsh words but sia surprised him as she let out a laugh and smirked.
“Why work when my soon-to-be hubby is a goddamn billionaire, I’d rather bask in your glory my love… Sia hates working”she replied with an I don’t care voice and playful facial expression, Emiliano’s face became pale as his blood boiled from anger, his fist was clenched so tightly that he didn’t know how much pressure he was holding his phone with.
“Get out!”he roared in a deep scary voice that would make anyone present flinch in fear but sia was no ordinary girl as she leaned back like a boss and played with little Diego’s blanket.
“Shh, cool down your son is sleeping, I would hate it if you woke him up because… because you will have a hard time getting him to sleep seeing that…”she said with the same smile Emiliano hated, he had to say no one had ever dared to get on his nerves like Sia did, and it was starting to make him despise her even more.
“Security!” Emiliano shouted for his guards hoping Sia would go away, but she sunk further in even more and made an O with her mouth and giggled such that Emiliano’s anger flared up he ended up throwing his phone hard to the wall, and it broke into pieces. It happened so fast that Sia couldn’t help but laugh because her deed was already done.
“Done! I’ll take the broken pieces and leave you to your work”saying that she got up from the chair and held Diego in a comfortable position and walked to get the broken phone, only then did Emiliano know what just happened.
“You!”he said in fury and Sia nodded and shoved the phone in her purse.
“Yes me, and forget the back-up because I already deleted the video from your laptop all thanks to granny”she said and winked at him seductively just as the door opened and Angelo walked in.
“Bro I think I saw…”he started but stopped when his eyes fell in Sia who seemed to be having a good time and then shifted to Emiliano who looked as if someone stole his candy, feeling defeated Angelo grinned as he walked to sia.
“Hello madam, I thought I was seeing things when I saw someone like you in the lobby but well…”he continued smiling and Sia rolled her eyes secretly and smiled back at him.
“Hi Angelo, no women for today”yes she was been sarcastic to him, but her words didn’t seem to affect Angelo like they did with Emiliano who seemed as if he would murder anyone with just his eyes.
“Oh I’m not in the mood but… wanna grab some lunch with me?”he extended his hand towards her and Sia glanced at Emiliano who looked calm but deadly and with a smirk, she took it.
“Yes baby, I’m starving”she told him and Angelo smiled foolishly as he dragged her to the door and looked back and winked at Emiliano and off they went leaving him as if he wasn’t even there.
“Did he… with my… what?”he said still shocked his son called mother of his child just got wooed by his very own best friend in front of him.
“Not happening”he said and took out his phone to call Nicolas to see to it that he followed those two and updated him on what they did, although he didn’t care… partly.
