I woke up to ruby’s voice.
“We’re here Kath, wake up” Ruby.
The castle is huge inside. We follow one of the guards inside. I can’t see the King and Queen so I think they come first.
The hall way is long as we turn left and right until we reach the second floor where there is a lot of rooms. The guard gives us our designated room. Ruby will be the next door after my room. She waves me goodbye and we go into our own room.
The room is simple. Bed, closet, television and mini refrigerator with a small bathroom.
I look inside the closet and found a lot of clothes. Most of them are shirt and leggings for training.
It’s not bad, after all this is just temporary.
I lay in bed and think of the possibilities after the game. I know I had a chance to win but I cannot underestimate the others since I don’t know them, plus I don’t want the Queens title. I don’t want to marry the King because my mate is out there, maybe looking for me too.
After few minutes I fall into sleep.

Zeus Point of View
“Why you didn’t tell me about it while I’m out of the castle Tayler?!” I almost throw him out of the window.
“Because it’s too late to tell you. You’re heading back the moment I knew that she already escapes.” Tyler.
“How did she escape?” How the hell those stupid rogues escape in my castle?
“She tricked the guard and the moment it comes near him, she killed it and scape.” Tyler.
“How about the other guards? They didn’t scent her?”
“She masks her scent with the clothes of the guard whom she killed and started a fire to escape.” Tyler.
This is ridiculous, that girl is too smart to escape like that.
“I want you to talk to all the guards. I don’t want another event like this to happen.” I said.
“Yes, my King.” Tyler.
“And by the way Tyler, I want you to order someone to fix the room next to mine. Someone will be using it soon. Mother will announce it tonight at dinner so let all the Alphas of my land be there except Duren.” I said.
“Sure. I better get going, and Zeus you’re soon to be wife is asking your presence in her room. Good luck with that My King.” He said while laughing.
If Tyler wasn’t my best-friend and my right hand, sure to hell he’ll be dead now.
“I don’t care about her. She’ll be dead if it wasn’t for my father. She’s kind of irritating.” I said.
“But you need a Queen, Zeus. And she is the best choice for the position since she is the strongest fighter of the kingdom.” Tyler explained.
“Don’t worry, I will have…. soon.” I said leaving him. I need to take a bath now, I feel dirty in this long journey we’ve had.
A loud knock on my door stop me from getting into my bathroom.
I open the door and see the blond girl who irritates me most.
“Loui what the hell?”
She pushes me into bed and kisses me. I tried to push her away but she put her hands in my neck.
“I’m going to be your Queen Zeus and that will never take away from me.” She said while kissing me.
“Well Loui, being a bitch right now will not make you any Queen.” My mother said.
She almost falls to ground when I push her. What the hell is my Mother doing in here?
“M-My Queen.” She bows down her head.
“Both of you go to the dining room now, I have an announcement to make.” She said looking straight to my eyes.
I am the king but when I see my mother’s eyes like that, I become a lost pup who doesn’t know what to do.
We follow her into the dining room. No one dare to speak not even me. I’m surprise to see Kath and the blond girl seated with us. I sit in the middle and my mother in my left and Tyler in my right.
“Good evening everyone, I have an announcement to make. Three days after this day, there will be a competition in this castle. Two great fighters in every pack will be sending here to fight. The winner will be my son, your King’s wife.” She said looking in everyone’s eyes.
“You’re kidding Eleonora! Zeus already have a soon to be wife and its Loui.” My father said.
“Well my husband, I know you make that decision before but my King Zeus already made his decision. He will only marry the girl who wins this battle.” Mother said.
“Don’t worry my Lord; I know I’m going to win.” Loui said.
“I hope you do Loui, and by the way the two girls over there. Ruby and Kath is the representative of Alurious pack. My Son picked them himself.” Mother said.
All attention now is with my real mate and the blonde.
She looks puzzled at the moment looking into prying eyes of the highest rank Alpha, fighters and royals of our world.
“This is stupid. If I know you will do this Zeus, I wouldn’t have given you my crown.” Father said.
And that pushes me again. No one dare to take back what is rightfully mine. Not even my father.
I look into his eyes. “Father, I think you forgot who’s your talking too. Do not disrespect me in front of our people if you want to stay here in the castle.” I said leaving the room. In any moment I will explode. I might kill him. One thing I and my wolf has in common is out short temper.

Katharina Point of view
The King leaves the room. His words toward his father are so intense. I can feel the authority radiating in him. I bow down my head and push my plate away. I need some space to think since it will be three days from now I will be in a battle.
Trying to find a nice place, I follow the scent of roses. This is my favorite flower since I was a kid. My mom had a rose garden in our pack.
It’s so sad to live without her. She’s the sunlight of my father’s life. They’re love each other, always there for another but because of me all of then disappeared, all of them died along with my mother.
“Mom is you with the Moon Goddess right now? I know you are. I want you to know that I love you and I’m sorry for leaving Dad and Sam. I love them but I need to give Dad space, he hates me because of what happened but Mom, I still love Dad and I understand him. Please heal his heart. I love you and I miss you.” I said looking in the stars.
“What a dramatic night.”
I look where the voice came from.
“My King.” I bow to him.
“What are you doing here Katharina.” He said.
Hearing my name from his mouth sends chills to my body again. What is wrong with me? Ever since I met him, this seems happening all the time he’s with me.
“Just passing by my king.” I said looking into the roses.
“You need to prepare for the battle; tomorrow will be the start of your training. Give me a nice game.” He said.
“But my King, I don’t want the Queen title. I think your mate deserves the crown more than any of us.” I reply.
“My mate? Hmmmm she maybe outside this castle and living with another man. I don’t give a shit; I want you to give all your best since I know you’re weak.” He said.
He thinks that I am weak? This King of mine has hidden horns in his head.
“I don’t have horns in my head.” He said.
“Oh my gosh! You can read my thoughts?”
“Yes, don’t you know that we are gifted by that kind of power?”
“No, father didn’t tell me.” I said sounded hurtful.
“Speaking of your Dad, your surname is familiar. Are you Alpha Ramus relative?”
“Yes, but he is actually my father, but don’t ask me why I leave the pack. It’s personal and also complicated.” I answered.
“So, Ramus has a daughter, never thought that Alpha blood line can produce a she-wolf. Oh well, I have to go now.” He said leaving me.
‘I want us to fight for the throne Katharina, since I don’t know if I can find our mate but having the King as husband is not bad idea at all, since I like him.’ My wolf said.
‘What are you talking about? We cannot do that. Our mate is maybe out there looking for us also.’ I said.
‘I’m just giving you an option.’ She said.
But I know myself. I will give my best in this but I don’t want to become a Queen.
