“You irritate me, you are not even man enough!”
“Your fellow man harassed your daughter right in front of you, and you stayed mute. I don’t even know why I married such a weakling in the first placed,” Susan ranted at her husband.
“Seriously! Did you expect me to war with an Alpha? We were all going to get into trouble if I reacted and as a man, I know not to react rashly like women do.”
“So I now react rashly, right? You know what? You are just so useless. Suit yourself,” Susan stormed away in anger.
Jason has done too much damage to her daughter, and it was time for him to pay.
Susan has been postponing her revenge because her daughter was still hung up on Jason, but right now, she was completely sure that regardless of what happens, Jason would never like Jacinta.
It was night already and Jacinta couldn’t sleep. What occurred at Jason’s house kept her really awake.
The strange girl had all she wanted and it made her so sad.
She had Jason’s attention.
She had Jason’s admiration.
She had Jason’s love.
All those were hers, Jacinta and not the strange girl. Where did the strange girl come from? Who was she?
Another annoying thing was that the girl was prettier than her, Jacinta hated to admit it, but that was the bitter truth.
What could she do to get the strange girl out of Jason’s life or out of the picture?
The strange girl’s friend was weird too, she hardly spoke. She was always quiet, and that somehow intrigued Jacinta.
Isabella was already loving the strange girl, and that made her even Jealous. Jacinta saw how pleased Isabella was at the dining table when Jason held Ariella’s hand.
Jacinta kept thinking of ways to get rid of Ariella, and she just couldn’t come up with any solid plan.
Then suddenly a thought came into her mind and she smiled evilly before saying,
“Let the game begin.”
*****
Ariella has been quiet all day after the incident at the dinning, and Jason felt so sad and disturbed.
Jacinta really outdid herself this time around. She called his woman a thief and embarrassed her in front of his workers, and his mother, on the other hand, was harsh to her.
“I apologize for everything that happened today,” Jason apologized from his heart, but Ariella only looked at him without uttering a word.
Ever since Ariella started sleeping in his room, Jason never slept with her on his big sized king’s mattress, but rather he got a smaller mattress and kept it on the floor lying down on it.
“I don’t want to sleep here tonight. I want to sleep at friend’s room,” Ariella spoke after hours of silence.
It really hurt her to be called a thief in presence of new people she was just meeting.
Ariella came from a wealthy family, so she never lacked anything she needed. She wasn’t a pauper.
The look of disappointment on Jason’s mother’s face was still clear in her head. She couldn’t get over it.
Ariella thought it was her fault that Jason left Jacinta at the altar and kept blaming herself for being the cause of someone’s misfortune but after what happened today, her thoughts began to change, Maybe Jason found out Jacinta was a terrible person.
“Why? I’m deeply sorry!” Jason stood up from the side of the bed he was seated and went over to the other side where Ariella sat.
Jason made to hold Ariella’s hand, but she moved away from him. He apologized severally to Ariella, but she had none of it. Having no choice, he agreed to let her go to her friend’s room.
Anger built up in Jason, but he held himself from transferring the aggression to his mate.
How could she leave him to stay with her friend? Wasn’t he enough? He felt jealous and territorial over her.
Jason understood that Ariella was hurt and needed to stay with her friend, but he couldn’t help the jealousy he felt.
What was she going to tell her friend that she couldn’t tell him?
Jason slammed his hand hard on the wall. If felt suffocating that she wasn’t with him. He wanted her here. He needed her here, but he knew better not to act rashly, if not, he was going to scare her away.
For some reason, Daisy found it difficult to sleep also, she kept thinking if Ariella was fine. Daisy knew Ariella was in safe hands, but she was also hurt and might need space.
Daisy couldn’t go and knock on Jason’s room asking for her friend at this time. It was really late, and she didn’t know if Jason was already asleep.
Daisy tried ignoring the feeling she felt, but couldn’t. She knew Ariella wouldn’t be able to sleep after such accusation, she was very soft-hearted, so little things could get to her, how much more such an accusation.
Daisy was about to unlock the door of the room and head to Jason’s when she heard a soft knock on the door.
She opened the door and wasn’t surprised to see Ariella standing right in front of her sobbing.
“It’s okay, let it all out,” Daisy hugged Ariella after locking the door. Ariella burst into tears and Daisy just kept caressing her back without saying anything.
“I am not a thief, I swear,” Ariella told Daisy after crying for a long time.
“I know you are not a thief, darling, I believe you even when every other person doesn’t. But did you see how Jason defended you back then? That shows that he trusts you, so don’t be bothered, okay?” Daisy calmly consoled.
“But all this was his fault. If he hadn’t left her on the altar that day, she wouldn’t have been this cruel to me,” Ariella accused.
“He left her on the altar so he could make sure you were fine, Ariel. That Man is ready to sacrifice everything he has to see you are okay,” Daisy defended Jason without thinking.
Ariella stared at Daisy suspiciously, she always came first, so why was Daisy defending Jason and not her?
“Is there something I need to know, Daisy?” Ariella asked, but Daisy just shook her head.
Ariella held her peace and laid on Daisy bed, it was already midnight, and she was beginning to feel sleepy. It wasn’t long after Ariella laid on the bed that she was carried into beautiful dream land.
Immediately Jason woke up the next morning, the first thing he did was head to Daisy’s room. He knocked, Daisy opened up and they exchanged greetings.
He just needed to see her face to know if she was fine. Daisy let him in, and he saw her still sleeping.
He smiled brightly as he watched her sleep, after some minutes of watching her sleep, he left the room. There was an urgent matter he needed to take care of.
After freshening up, Jason went to the living room and there was his beta and gamma patiently waiting for him to come.
Both of them greeted Jason immediately they saw him, and he just answered with a nod.
“I need you to find out every social club Jacinta is into and strip her of whatever position she holds there,” Jason instructed facing his beta and his beta in return only replied with a nod.
“I’m sure she’s irrelevant anywhere she goes. She just held powerful positions but contributes nothing to people’s life. It’s time to put her back in her irrelevant spot,” Jason continued
“You will assist him in doing that,” Jason said to the gamma, and he also nodded.
This was a serious moment for the three of them, and although they were friends, they dared not joke around when their Alpha was in a serious mood.
“What do you think she has done this time?” The beta mind linked to the gamma.
“I don’t know, we got here together, so there’s no way I could possibly know that, but I think she did something really terrible that got to the Alpha,” The gamma replied through the mind link.
“What are you guys still standing here doing? You can leave!” Jason said in his Alpha voice, and they both bowed before leaving.
Meanwhile, a few hours later at Jacinta’s house,
“What? Are you crazy? What do you mean I have been removed from the group? You can’t be serious!”
