“Who are you talking to?” Tracy asked, Agnes rubbing her eyes.
“I wasn’t talking to anyone. I was only saying my prayers,” Agnes lied.
Agnes heaved a sigh of relief when she turned and saw that the screen on the wall was no more. Tracy, who has oblivious of what, was going on, immediately believed her.
“A bracelet?” Agnes thought within her. Because of Tracy’s interruption, her mistress didn’t get enough time to explain things to her but, she knew she had to check if the younger princess had the bracelet with her. The bracelet must be something with powers or special abilities for her mistress to have asked for it. Beatrice, her mistress, was always drawn to things with unique power or ability and would always do anything to acquire them.
Since it was still midnight, Tracy and Agnes went back to sleep.
The moment Beatrice summoned Agnes, the bracelet also awaked Ariella. Ariella wasn’t literally awoken because her eyes were shut; she sleep – walked to the front of Tracy’s door and stood there.
The bracelet was drawn to the presence of a strange enchantment at the place, so it led it bearer to where the dark enchantment was coming from. However, the moment Ariella was about to enter the room was when Tracy woke up, making Beatrice to break the enchantment and as a result of that, Ariella body halted from entering the room. Ariella fell down at the door step of the room and continued sleeping soundly.
Daisy woke up but couldn’t find Ariella in their room. Yes! They slept in the same room, Ariella treated Daisy as an elder sister she had aside from Tracy. Daisy panicked when she saw the bed empty, and she immediately charged out of the room searching for her Ariella.
Daisy was almost going insane as she walked through the hallway when suddenly, her eyes fell on a sleeping slender figure right in the front of Tracy’s room. Daisy rushed over and heaved a sigh of relief when she discovered it was Ariella’s sleeping body.
Daisy knew Ariella to be soft-hearted and thought perhaps she couldn’t sleep in her room due to feeling guilt and decided to sleep at Tracy’s doorstep to show her how sorry she was.
“Come on darling, you did nothing wrong. You don’t have to be sorry, okay?” Daisy said as she lovingly rubbed Ariel’s beautiful face.
While still rubbing Ariel’s face gently, Daisy’s eyes fell on the bracelet on Ariella hand, which was originally crystal blue, looking dark red signifying danger. Daisy’s eyes widened, no wonder Ariella was here, that girl made a dark enchantment which attracted the bracelet. Daisy quickly carried Ariella in a bridal style to their room before anyone else would spot them. Yes! Daisy was strong enough to carry Ariel up, she was once among the most trained army of the kingdom, and also she was the only woman to have ever joined the army.
The next morning, everyone was present at the dinning table except Ariella. King Sabastine, who loved and enjoyed eating with his daughter dearly, ordered that one ate until Ariella joined them.
“How long are we going to keep waiting for her dad? She knows fully well that this is breakfast period and still kept us waiting,” Tracy spoke with disdain.
“How are you feeling now, my dear?” King Sabastine asked, totally ignoring Tracy. Before Agnes could answer, Ariella emerged, looking so unusually beautiful that morning. Ariella flew to her dad and pecked him on his both cheeks, giggling happily.
Ariella didn’t know why, but she woke up feeling so happy that day. “Dad! Tomorrow is the gifting day,” Ariella reminded her father happily.
The gifting day was a special day set aside for all the fairies in the kingdom to come gift the king beautiful gifts from their genuine hearts. No matter how little the gifts were, the king accepted it with pleasure.
“Yes! That’s true. I have forgotten all about it. Thank you.”
As they began to eat, Agnes eyes began to search for the bracelet on Ariella arm but she found nothing on Ariella’s hand. Where could this bracelet her mistress talked about be? The younger princess was not in possession of it, neither was the older princess. Maybe the king hid it for safety purpose. Daisy’s eyes followed Agnes eyes, and she frowned deeply when she dictated Agnes was trying to look for the bracelet. Daisy, who could see the bracelet, didn’t know the bracelet was invisible to Agnes. The bracelet already felt danger and became invisible to the person who seemed strange.
Daisy tilted her face and her eyes locked with Tracy’s. Tracy has been observing her without her even knowing. Tracy looked at her with evil eyes and she returned the energy. The shock on Tracy’s face was evident, this classless maid was bitting more than she could chew. It seemed as though this maid had forgotten her place and she was going to put back at her place, where she belonged.
Ariella was so deep in thoughts that she didn’t notice the battle going on between those two. She felt guilty over what happened the other day and badly wanted to apologize to Agnes, but her instinct strongly kicked against it. She didn’t understand why she felt uneasy around this girl since the first day she saw her.
Immediately after the meal, Agnes went to her room and enchanted the summoning spell as usual, she told her mistress that the bracelet wasn’t with Ariella.
“You mean you didn’t see the bracelet on her arm?” Beatrice asked to confirm if she heard Agnes correctly. Agnes affirmed. How is that possible? The bracelet was the only thing that possessed such powers.
Ariella was passing by Tracy’s room door when she heard the voice of Agnes as though she were having a conversation with someone. Who was Agnes talking to? Ariella just left Tracy at the dinner, so she was certain that the person Agnes was talking to wasn’t her elder sister.
Ariella tried hard to stop herself from entering the room, but that side of hers that wanted to enter finally won. Ariella gently turned the door knob without making a noise and finally entered.
Ariella tiptoed as she entered the room and hid the door. Ariella opened her mouth wide in shock when she saw something screen – like magically displayed on the wall. It was like a movie being played at the theater. Ariel sensed the dark aura oozing from the woman and shivered in fear, the woman looked like one who was in her mid-thirties. Her ocean – like blue eyes looked very creepy and screamed evil. Although, the woman looked creepy, she was no doubt gorgeous.
Agnes and her mistress continued talking without sensing Ariel’s presence.
“Since you didn’t see the bracelet with the younger princess, I need you to bring Tracy to me as soon as possible. We are running out of time, we need to carry out our mission immediately!”
Ariella closed her mouth immediately to stop herself from making a sound. They were planning to kidnap Tracy and she needed to warn Tracy about the impending danger that was lurking around her. Ariella tiptoed out quietly step by step, but as soon as she got to the doorstep that was left opened already by her, a soft but firm hand forcefully drew her out and due to the fright she felt, she made a sound and Agnes turned.
