Many great kingdoms in the fairy world, but Fairyparadise was the greatest of them all. They were known for their nobility, great powers and virtue. The D-Day had come when the princesses would display their skills. Great rulers and people from the other kingdoms gathered to witness this glorious event.
But Ariella woke up to see her dress for the event ripped and scattered all over her room.
Who had done this? Tracy was everything else, but not childish and inconsiderate. What was she going to wear to the event today? Wait a minute! She fell asleep in the hall, how did she get to her room? One of the guards must have carried her to her room.
“What am I going to say to Dad?” she panicked.
A soft knock landed on her door and her personal maid flew in.
“Your highness, it’s almost time…,” The maid stopped and gasped in shock when she saw the ruined dress. “What happened to your dress, princess?”
“I don’t know, Daisy. I woke up to it like this!” she said exasperated with teary eyes. “Father will be so disappointed in me!”
“It’s okay, princess. Go freshen up, I will find a way to sort this out.” Ariella nodded and left.
After Ariel left, Daisy with just a snap of a finger, magically fixed her dress and left her room quietly to get breakfast for the princess. Ariella came back and without glancing up said, “Daisy, could you please get me another dress…” But stopped in her tracks when she saw the torn dress all new and whole.
“Wait! What? ” She blurted out, then Daisy interrupted her when she flew in with her food.
“Oh my God! Princess, you didn’t tell me you have mastered the third level of your power. See! You fixed your dress perfectly. The King will be thrilled to hear this.”
Ariella filled with confusion, uttered,” I didn’t do it, Daisy.” She was still learning how to perfect her magic.
“It wasn’t you?” Daisy raised a brow.

As Tracy flew through the hallway, fairies flew away for their dear lives. If terror were to be a person, it was her. The last time, she threw a ball of fire at a maid who accidentally bumped into her and gave her an everlasting scar on her skin. Aside from the palace domestic workers, every other person feared her. She had no personal maid because each of them ended up running away after a few days of working with her.
Tracy had a sly smile on her face as she sat on her throne at the right hand of her father. She was happy that she ripped her sister’s dress and tore it into shreds. Not only that, but she knew her sister wasn’t going to attend the ceremony wearing any other dress because it was one of their mother’s dresses. Their father personally picked the dresses for them and knowing Ariella so well, she wasn’t a person who would want to get on the bad side of their father.
Tracy was a beauty, there was no doubt about it. She had a pair of sparkling yellow-red eyes and bronze hair like her father. Many princes and noble men admired her, but none had the guts to approach her. She loved the attention and respect she got from people, she was their future leader, and they could do nothing but bow to her.
Two years ago, she met someone she had never seen before in the woods, he was the only guy that ever caught her attention. And that was the last time she ever saw him. His blue eyes were as blue as the deep ocean – so charming! His dark hair was like that of silk, he was beyond beautiful.
When she becomes queen, she would search for him.

The people stayed quiet and still as they waited for the younger princess to arrive. King Sabastine was worried and kept glancing at the hall door to see if the princess was coming in. She wasn’t the kind of person who couldn’t keep time. He was unable to understand the smile he kept seeing on Tracy’s face. What was she up to this time again? He swore within him to deal with her if she hurt her sister or disgraced him because he knew how mischievous she could be.
King Sabastine heaved a sigh of relief when Ariella finally arrived. She looked so breathtaking, she let her hair fall and decorated it with blue rose flowers. The attention of everyone rested on her and her personal maid as they both flew in.

Tracy was too stunned to blink, how did the dress get back in one piece? She was so sure she destroyed the dress. Ariella had practiced so much to the extent she could now make ruined things whole again. She was furious and looked at Ariella with hate in her eyes. Daisy saw the look the older princess gave her younger sister and instantly knew she was the one who ruined her sister’s dress.
Tracy shifted uncomfortably in her seat as Ariella approached and sat on the left side of their father. Tracy placed her hand behind the chair she sat and made balls of fire with her magic intending to throwing them at Ariella’s back, but her hands wouldn’t bulge when she tried to raise them up and swing them toward her sister. Her hand felt still, she couldn’t feel them. Then she hastily brought her hands back to the front, and they felt normal and free. She pulled her hand to her back again and felt the numbness she felt earlier.
She glanced at Ariella and noticed the bracelet was shinning. Ah! How could she forget easily? The bracelet was a protector. She was going to make sure she found a way to either claim back the bracelet or destroy it because if she couldn’t have it, then Ariella would not have it either. She’d let her enjoy the protection while it lasted. Not only that, but she wasn’t always this bitter against her sister; she loved her dearly. But after her mother died, she met a fairy who told her that the birth of her sister brought the sickness that killed her mom. She refused to believe the fairy until the royal doctors all confirmed it was a hidden illness that killed her mother, and it was traced back to after Ariel was given birth to.
Ariella was cursed. She killed her best friend with the curse that came with her. What was more shocking was that the doctors tested Ariella and found her completely healthy-no trace of the evil sickness was found in her. She was convinced her younger sister was a fairy witch! And as if that weren’t enough, her father gave that little witch her bracelet. No! She wouldn’t sit and watch her take her mother and then take her birthright. If it meant going out of the kingdom to find a solution, she would!
She tilted her head and her eyes met with Ariella’s. Ariella giggled lightly and winked at her, but she scoffed in disgust and looked away. That girl was getting on her nerves! She needed to do something fast to get her out of the picture
