The feeling inside Shawn’s car became heavy. Sarah decided not to look at them. She might end up stressing herself when the two fight each other.
“Do not say sorry if you do not mean it” Maximus said, clenching his fist again.
He thought that if only Shawn did not kiss his wife, maybe they are still okay with Luna.
“I mean it, bro. I realized that I am wrong. I do not want to break our good relationship, after all, you are the only brother I have, and I only trust you” Shawn said sincerely.
He is not lying. Ever since they were still kids, Maximus is the only friend he had. They were like real brothers, so he does not want to break his friendship with Maximus just because of Luna.
He knew that he would be happy if he saw both Luna and Maximus smile once again because of him.
Maximus looked at his friend. He sighed as he gave up on the fact that he does not also want to lose his only trusted friend, Shawn Lucas.
“Fine, but do not take her away from me,” Maximus said.
“I will take her if you hurt her again” Shawn winked and smiled.
Sarah did not understand how boys manage to fix their problems so easily with just a simple talk. Meanwhile, girls went through hell and fire before they did. They will slap or pull each other’s hair first and make everybody’s headache. In the end, it is either they consider their friendship or not. Sarah shook her head because of what she thought.
She smiled when she thought that Maximus and Shawn were now okay, after all, this is their first time fighting each other because of a woman.
The only problem is Liza and Luna. How are they going to save her? How about Liza? She is already as crazy as hell.
When Maximus received the message from his man, he opened his phone and immediately told Shawn the address. The car speed increased when he read the address. It will take fifteen minutes to arrive at the exact location at his current speed. There is no time left. Shawn needs to drive fast or else it will be too late to save Luna.
Shawn pulled out his phone from his pocket and called Liza.
“Liza set her free. I will marry you, just set her free” Shawn said in a serious tone.
The two siblings at the back froze. They did not know that Shawn was also in a hard situation.
“What?” Sarah uttered.
“What are you talking about?” Maximus asked Shawn after the call was finished. He heard it right. Shawn will go marry Liza if she let Luna free.
“Liza called me a while ago and said that she wanted to marry me. Only if I did not cancel the wedding, maybe Luna was still safe. I put her in danger” Shawn explained as he grips on the steering wheel.
“But you do not have to sacrifice your own happiness for us” Maximus protested because of his decision.
“You do not understand Maximus. Luna is my happiness. If something bad happens to her, I will never forgive myself” Shawn said with sincere eyes. Maximus did not feel anger or jealousy towards him instead, he pitied and felt sad for his friend.
“It is not your fault. Liza is a vicious woman and that is a fact. Never mind her, all we need to do right now is to save Luna” Sarah said.
She heaved a sigh as she looked outside the car hoping that everything will be fine.
“My men informed me that they already secured the area,” Maximus said while looking at his phone.
The three arrived at an old train station. The station was abandoned, and all the useless junk was thrown at the place. When they get outside the car, Mister Sun greets them. He was waiting for their arrival.
“They are inside the main control room. Madam Frost was tied to the railway. We tried to rescue her, but Ms. Ferrer might click the button for the train to move so we only caught his men that were guarding outside the area” Mister Sun said in a worried tone.
Sarah gasped after she heard Mister Sun’s explanation. How can Liza do something horrible like this? She thought.
Maximus and Shawn planned to save Luna. Shawn will confront Liza in the control room while Maximus will untie Luna at the railway. Maximus’s men were on standby. They already secure the area. Liza’s men were already caught without her knowledge. Now there is only Liza and Luna left.
“Stay here, we are going inside,” Maximus said.
Mister Sun handed him his favorite gun and went inside together with Shawn. Mister Sun guided Sarah inside the car. He assured her that Luna will be safe to keep her calm.
When Maximus and Shawn got inside, they split paths and did their assigned task. Shawn knocks at the door of the control room. He avoids making a facial expression that will make Liza feel suspicious. When the door was slowly opening, he saw the figure of Liza, smiling like she won a lottery.
“Finally, you are here! You made the right choice!” Liza said as he ran towards Shawn. She wanted to hug him badly.
Behind Liza was a big glass and through the glass, he could see Luna. She was unconscious and tied firmly at the railway. Shawn’s heartbeat so fast because of what he is looking for. When Liza hugged her, he hugged her back and that is the signal for Maximus.
Maximus was hiding behind an old train beside Luna. When he got to his position, he froze when he saw his wife in a poor state. He clenched his fist and felt like pointing his gun at Liza and shut her down. He is really mad. He already wanted to save his wife, but he needs to be patient because Liza also has a gun with her. She might shoot Shawn if he acted recklessly. He waited for the signal. When Shawn hugs Liza back he quickly runs towards his wife and unties the rope.
It is so hard to untie the rope and when he was about to carry Luna and run away, Liza pulled herself away from Shawn. Maximus hid again. He almost punches the rusted wall of the train because he failed to get his wife.
