Of course, I had to because I trusted her so much. She’s my friend. She’s always there when I needed her. She is like a sister to me.
“Did you trust him? What if it’s another trick to fool you again and to destroy your plan to punish them?”, she advised me.
I started the engine of my car and didn’t reply. Cassandra knew my answer when I am quiet. I decided to trust Kent again. Call me bitch but I can feel his feeling for me is real.
I drive her home and we bid hood yes to each other. I took a deep breath as my car park outside the mansion. I was the one who opens the gate since Gale fired his last servant.
His car was here so he didn’t go to the office yet. He’s always early when going to his restaurant but it’s his first time to work late. Is he waiting for me? Why? I was only three steps away from the entrance when I saw him sitting on the couch. He’s holding a bottle of beer.
” Hi! Are you sick?”, I asked him quite staying in my position.
I’m afraid to come closer because of what happened yesterday. It is still fresh in my mind.
He lifted his face and seems like he’s drunk. His eyes look dazed.
” You didn’t come home last night. Where did you sleep?”, he uttered while making another gulped of beer?
I thought both of us can do whatever we wanna do when it comes to personal life. Why he’s acting like my dad now?
“What do you care? Gale, it’s your first time to act so sensitively about this matter! I can go anywhere and I can sleep with anyone I like without your permission! You’re not my husband anyway!”, I said but I exclaimed when he throws the bottle of beer towards me.
I got frantic.
” What’s wrong with you? Ifnyiubhave a problem with anyone, don’t bring it here!”, I yelled at him but he quickly stood up and I saw his eyes glaring at me.
I thought he will attack me again but he didn’t.

Kent decided to go back to his condominium to check what he found at Eloisa’s secret cabinet.
He’s still not ready to find what’s the hides here but this is for the sake of Lucy and Austin. I promised her that I will find Eloisa’s hidden agenda. She was one hundred percent sure that she’s having secret plans to take Lucy out of her life. It’s her obsession since she was young back then. I knew how Eloisa killed those frogs with a knife. She’s my playmate when we were a child. She’s merciless and evil.
I emptied the plastic bag and spread them on my table. My eyes widened to see different types of mobile phones. I check them and all of them were no batteries but the sim card was there. I took one and inserted it into my phone.
I can’t believe what I saw in the inbox. It’s a thread of conversation between her and the name Brian. It’s about a kidnapping plan. I saw Lucy and sir Raphael’s name on it. I read a lot of their conversation and I don’t know what to teach anymore. I can’t imagine how I managed to live with a killer like her. She destroyed many lives and killed someone he closed too and it was Gregory. I read her last message to him that she will visit him to comfort him the day he died too.
My sweats started to roll down my face. My body started freezing. I will take this to the police station as evidence of her evil deeds. I will put her to prison too just like what she did to Lucy. She framed her while she just gave birth to Austin and her father was in the hospital at that time because of an accident she also made.
It was Eloisa all along. She was the mastermind of everything.

Lucy felt relieved that Gale didn’t attack her. He told her to go upstairs to have a rest.
“Yeah. I need that. Thank you for everything, Gale!”, she told him and he looks surprised.
” Are you telling me that you want to stop to finish the plan?”, he asked me.
I tried not to make him mad since he’s drunk. She will talk to him maybe tomorrow if he is now in his decent mind.
“No! I mean, I will be grateful to you forever for helping me. That’s all.” She said and inform him that she isn’t feeling well. She needs a good sleep.
“Okay. I gotta go. Don’t forget to call when you wake up, okay?”, he told me before we parted ways.
I slammed my back on my bed. I dibefore realizing I fell asleep easily.

Lucy POV
I was about to open the door when I discovered that it was locked outside.
I try to twist the knob again but it won’t budge.
” Gale? Where are you? Are you joking right now? Please, let me out!”, I keep shouting and banging the door.
I began to panic. I look for the phone but he took it too. I can’t find it inside my bag.
“Is this for real? Did he locked me for real?”, the only words I muttered as my tears fall continuously.
Kent decided to report a murder and kidnapping case for Eloisa. He also added an Estafa case for faking their marriage and adoption paper about Lucy’s son Austin.
Eloisa had no idea that the police is now on their way to get her.
She was at the mansion and trying to call Brian to find Kent because she noticed her picture frame was being touched by someone.
” Hello, Brian. Call Rey and Niel to hide. I got caught!”, she walked back and forth inside her room while putting her dresses inside her suitcase.
“What? Eloisa, I thought you burned them? How did you become so careless?”, Brian got mad and almost yelling on the other line.
Eloisa’s body was shaking that she can’t control it. She’s afraid that her father will kill her if he found out what kind of daughter is she.
” I’m sorry but Kent took all our evidence! Let’s talk later. I will finish packing to get out of here too.” She ordered them to hide.
She quickly looks for Dilan inside his room but he’s not there.
“Baby? Dilan, where are you?”, she was looking for him anywhere.
She started to get mad.
” Dilan! If you won’t come out, I will lock you in your closet. I will count to three!”, she shouted.

She didn’t finish counting when Kent appeared at the main door while carrying Austin. Austin was their son’s real name. It was Eloisa” a choice to call him Dilan because she hated to call him Austin.
“Honey! Why did you go? I am looking for you and Dilan”, she said while coming towards them but Kent quickly put Austin behind him.
His calm gaze becomes fierce.
” He’s Austin Eloisa and he’s not Dilan! You can’t hurt him anymore! Officers, you may come out!”, he ordered the police to get out from their hiding place.
Eloisa looks terrified after seeing them.
“What is this? Why you brought the police inside our house? Kent!”, she screamed while four police officers hold her and cuffed her hands.
” You’re under arrest for murder and Estafa case, Ms. Sherlock. You can bring your attorney to the police station.
She’s struggling while calling for Kent’s help.
” Honey, what is this? What did I do wrong? I will call dad and you will regret this!”, she warned Kent.
He just stared at her while holding Austin with him. He’s crying and he was calling his mom.
“Daddy, what happened to mommy? Why they took her from us?”, he asked his dad with his soft sobs.
He wrapped his arms around his son to help him to stop crying.
” Everything will be okay, son. I promise.” He whispered in his ears and he called Cassandra to take Austin with her first while the police interrogate Eloisa at the police station.
While everyone was focusing on Eloisa, Lucy was still looking for help inside the mansion. Gale locked her inside her room and she can’t understand why he did that.
Lucy POV
Ten hours later…
The clock is ticking but no signs of hope for me. I curled my body into a ball and wrapped my arms on my knees. I didn’t know that Gale will do this to me. I thought he’s trying to help me but why everything we schemed for five years will put to waste? He’s the one who lied to me.
My eyes were swollen from my endless crying. Kent doesn’t know about this. I bet he was waiting for me at the airport. Maybe a miracle might happen and someone will come to save me. I tried to calm myself when I heard heavy footsteps of a man’s shoe approaching towards me. It’s Gale with his devilish gaze.
“Hello, Lucy. How’s your life here? Did I startle you?”, he came closer and skid the hair strands covering my face.
I felt gross in his touch. I spit my saliva on his face.
” Asshole! Why did you lock me here? What do you want from me, Gale? I thought we both understand about the contract? So why?”, I yelled at him.
He narrowed his eyes on me and punch me on my face. Blood started to spew from my mouth. I tasted the fresh blood on my lips.
“Don’t call me asshole! I change my rules. Haven’t you forget the tenth rule, Lucy?”, he told me while cupping my face tightly.
I winced in pain with my cuts in my mouth. I ignored his monstrous look and I stayed silent. My eyes look at him full of hatred and anger.
” The 1oth rule was a punishment to the traitor and you abide that rules of mine! You slept with Kent, right? You’re mine, Lucy!”, he keeps repeating the word mine towards me.
I can’t understand what he’s telling me.
I chuckled while staring at Gale.
“You love me? Really? What about Eloisa? Was she your first love, right? I know your secrets Gale! You can lie to me all you want, but I’m not a foolish girl anymore.” I said and laughed at him again.
I saw how he tightened his jaws on me. My eyes widened when he took off his belt from his pants.
“What are you doing, Gale? Please, no!!!”, I screamed for help when he raised it in the air and landed it on my face.
” How dare you laugh at me!” He said while hitting me with his belt.
It was a hard blow and in his every strike, my face goes red like blood and several cuts were visible. It turned numb on his every blow and I started to feel hazy until my vision turned blurry. If I die tonight, my baby won’t see and recognize me anymore. I feel so bad if I think about it.
I heard Gale calling my name but I feel weak and about to sign off from this world.
“Lucy, wake up! Sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt you. Lucy, please wake up!”, he keeps calling my name until I felt cold water hit on my face.
