After two weeks…
“I hereby declared that Lucy Mason will be sent to Muntinlupa penitentiary to served her time as inmates by doing community service, serving inside with good deeds and beliefs, and praying for her sins. No witness and proofs that the offender is innocent.!” The judge read her final sentence.
His father was sitting in a wheelchair and people inside became loud. She looks calm and ready. Her swollen eyes shifted in her father’s direction. He was pale and covered with his tiny skin.
She felt sorry for him and couldn’t even look at his condition. Gregory told her that he will take care of her father. He will bring him to the home for the aged temporarily since she’s inside the prison.
“My daughter is innocent! She was a good person! Why did you sentence her with something she didn’t do!” Her dad Raphael filled the courtroom with his voice.
Lucy was holding herself to cry in front of her father. She will show him that she’s brave and innocent. While they escorting her out to the courtroom, she stops beside her dad.
She tightened her jaw and tightly closed her eyes.
“I’m an okay dad. I’ll come back. Promise. Stay strong for me okay. After five years everyone will kneel in front of me too!” Those were her final words before she left the courtroom.
Gregory feels sorry for Lucy but his family especially his mom got received a death threat. He loves his family so he became blind and deaf to Eloisa’s orders.
“There’s no way out Lucy. Just give up! She won’t stop until you die!” He said while drinking the last shot of whiskey in his mouth.
Lucy finally arrived at the Muntinlupa jailhouse. She changes her dress with an inmate’s uniform. She was now wearing a shade of orange with a big letter P at the back. She roamed her eyes to her new environment and goosebumps went up through her spine. She saw tattoed female inmates in the hallway, reaching their hands to grab any part from her and one of them reaches her hair.
“You bitch. Welcome to hell! ” she yelled at her until police officers take off her hands away from her. Lucy felt pain from her scalp her grip.
They’re all cheering at her on her first day. Lucy didn’t expect that this place seems unfriendly. Everyone hated her the way they set their eyes on her. Every cell was occupied with five inmates. They placed her in one of the cells with three inmates.
“Enjoy your first day, Miss Mason!” One of the officers pushed her inside and she stumbled on the ground.
One inmate who looks younger than her with blond hair teacher her hands for help but she didn’t accept it and push her away from her.
“I’m not a retard person who needs any help from all of you! Just get lost!” She started a commotion inside.
The chubby lady who aged range in mid-forties stood up and kick her on her tummy. She grunts in pain holding her belly and curled like a ball.
“Don’t act like a First Lady here, bitch! We know why they take you here so don’t act innocent!” She seems her patience was little.
“Arian, stop it! She’s new and shock. Don’t be like that!” Cassandra scolds her.
Arian rolled her eyes like she doesn’t care. She spits on her this time.
” If you want to live here for five years without being deformed, obey us!” She warned Lucy and went back to her bed.
Lucy just cried at the corner while thinking about her son Austin.
“Mommy will save you, baby. No one can harm you!” The only words she said before she lost her consciousness.

Now, Lucy will face a new challenge in prison.
Lucy POV
Tomorrow is my last day here in jail and it seems like I was locked in here for only a week. Time passed by so fast and my five years of staying here will finally soon end.
I was convicted of a case I didn’t do and it’s ironic right, that I was the one who takes all the blame where both of them are having the good times of their life together with my son.
I clenched my fist in anger. While looking at the pile of bars in front of me, I feel like a murderer for five years. Life is unfair. If you’re poor, you’re always poor, if you’re rich, you will become richer.
Just wait and the world will soon be mine.
“Hey, Lucy, weren’t you excited? We’re now free at last tomorrow!” Cassandra sat beside me with a smile on her face. I can see how happy she was and waited for this day to come.
Arian and Gwen only stared at us like jealous neighbors. They became good to me after the incident they never forget.
