Lucy looks confused. What money is her father talking about? Now she remembered.
“Dad, you mean–you lend money from them again?” Lucy asked her dad.
Raphael didn’t answer. He shifted his gaze at the thugs.
“Set her free please!” He repeated.
Their faces were covered by bonnets so it’s hard to recognize them.
They quickly grabbed their hands when Raphael quickly shoved Brian on his balls and Lucy bit Neil’s hands.
“Ahhhh!” Neil shouted and Brian whimpered in pain too. He stumbled on the ground holding his balls.
Rey quickly pushed Raphael off the bridge and he pulled the trigger next to him.
Lucy saw it. He shot her dead. Raphael told his daughter to run before he ffinally falls on the high bridge down the deep-running river.
“Dad!” Lucy screamed when she lost sight of her father.
She looked around and everything went dark. Her legs trembled and her heart tightened. She’s trying to catch her breath but she feels like she’s dying too.
An ambulance came and they check her pulse and heart rate.
“Is she still breathing?” One of the paramedics asked the other one.
“Yes. She’s fine. I think she was shocked!” He replied while injecting her the first aid.
Gale PoV
So she was Lucy. She was my brother’s, first love. He only used and betrayed her. Poor gorgeous lady. How did she end up falling for him? That bastard and brat! Don’t worry pretty lady, if you will fall for me, I promise that you won’t regret it.
They stop at one of the hospitals in town, The Medicare Hospital. I hid from Gregory because I’m sure he will recognize me even we didn’t meet for five years. When dad forced me to marry Adriana, actually my late Adriana because she died two years ago with leukemia not long before I met my new girlfriend in the states.
I followed them and they stop at room 05. Someone close to her got admitted inside. As far as I recalled, Gregory mentioned that they will check her father. So Lucy’s father was hospitalized but why? Is he sick? Did he have an accident?
I quickly went to the information desk to check about the patient in room 05. I decided to pretend as her boyfriend.
I called the attention of the representative for the patient’s list.
“Hello, good morning ma’am. May I know who was in room 05?” I used my sex appeal to answer me instantly.
The person assigned was a middle-aged fat woman wearing big round eyeglasses.
I bit my lower lip and set a seductive wink at her.
She falls for it.
“Yes, sir? In-room 05?” She seems like wanted to pee on her long black skirt.
A lovely smile came on my face and gently nod my head at her.
“He’s Mr. Raphael Mason. He got hit by a careless driver and almost lost his right leg. Are you his daughter’s boyfriend?” She shyly bit her lip and wink at me too while sliding her hair strands at the back of her ears.
I cleared my throat and nod at her again.
She felt sad and jealous.
“Oh, she’s lucky to have you, sir. I can escort you there?” She offered but I quickly declined it.
“It’s okay, madam. I can go alone. Thanks and have a good day!” I bid goodbye to her and went back to my car.
Now I know why her father got admitted. What an unfortunate girl. She’s interesting to me. A smirk painted on my face. I waited for them outside the hospital.
At last, they went out and it seems like Lucy will go home alone. Wow, Gregory thinks he can get any girls he wants? Well, he’s not the same as. No one can resist my charm and not even Eloisa.

Gregory offered Lucy a ride but she insisted that she will go home alone. She had her plan after this. She remembered Atty. Van, the one who processed her son’s adaptation papers. She went to the lawyer’s office for adoption issues but when she visited his office, she let Atty. Van but he’s not the man she met in the villa. She started to feel anxious when the real Atty. Van didn’t have an appointment with Mrs. Eloisa Stone and her husband Kent Oliver Stone.
“What do you mean sir? They brought him to my house and he happily introduced himself to me as Atty. Van!” Lucy didn’t understand what’s happening.
Everything is in chaos after she gave birth. She thought when she had a son to her first love Kent, it will be easy for her to get rid of his legal wife Eloisa but she was the one who falls in her trap. Kent promises her good life and he will take good care of their som but why they do this to her.
She thought the adaption paper was legit but she got fooled again. After the signing process, they just vanished in thin air. Kent turned off his phone and she had no idea about Eloisa’s number.
