I finally got to open my eyes. I looked around and I saw white shades of paint everywhere. I look at myself and I am wearing a hospital gown.
“Why I am here? What just happened? Where’s Lucy? Her life is in danger too!” I murmured.
Stone Residence
Eloisa was pissed because Austin keeps crying. Today is their flight to the United States.
“Hello, baby, don’t cry okay. Mommy will get mad!” She told Austin while giving him his milk bottle.
He finally stops crying. She searches for him and she found him outside. He was standing while smoking. Eloisa was surprised to see him smoking again.
“You’re here. I thought you quit that thing?” She asked him.
Kent sips the last stick and throws it on the ground. He turned around to see his wife.
“I just want to relax. Are you ready?” His voice was cold.
Eloisa happily wrapped her arms around him.
“Yes, I’m excited. I just need to pack some things and we’re done!” She replied and Kent just stands there like a mannequin.
Finally, she let go and went back inside.
“I’ll call you when I’m done, honey, okay!” She told him and went back inside.
Kent holds a deep sigh and lit another cigarette again for the last time.
“I’m sorry, Lucy.” He whispered.
Minutes later, he decided to go inside to check if Eloisa was ready and Austin but his phone vibrated suddenly. He took it from his pocket and the caller was Lucy. He’s not ready to talk to her yet and he made a huge mistake to her. He doesn’t know if he can face her after this. They plan to seduce her and impregnated her. After she gave birth, they will adopt her baby and they will go back to the U. S and he had no idea when are they coming back.
He decided to not answer it. He turned off his phone purposely so that he can’t reach him. There’s no use to hold back anymore. Whatever she does they can’t be together.
“I’m a married man Lucy. Just accept the truth!” Kent tightened his jaw as his tears started to fall.

Lucy POV
I told Gregory to wait for me at the hospital. I went home to get an extra dress for my father. I’m so glad that the operation went well. He’s still unconscious so I can’t tell if his memories came back or not.
I took my phone to dial Kent’s number to check on my son. It’s ringing but he’s not answering it. I tried to call him again but I started to had a bad feeling when he turned it off.
“Why is he cutting off my call? How dare you Kent!” I quickly put the things needed for my father and went back to the hospital.
I felt nervous right now. I think something bad will about to happen. Why he turned off his phone? Are they hiding from me or are they just want to take away my baby?
I finally arrived at the hospital and I’m lucky that Gregory arrived early. I saw him in the lobby waiting for me. He waved his hands and a great smile painted on his face. I know this is early morning but the pounding of my heart made me feel sick.
“Hi, good morning!” He greeted me but I’m not in the mood to be nice to him.
I treat him well because I need him. I want him because he’s Kent’s friend and nothing more.
“Just wait for me here. I just called Kent and he turned off his phone! Do you know why? I need to get my son now!” I asked him and I saw him frowned.
“Will you relax, Lucy? They won’t go anywhere. Maybe they were too excited to have a baby.” He told me like he was on their side.
I felt like a thousand spikes hit my heart. How can he talk to me like that?
“Okay, if you want to help them, I will go on my own!” I said and hurriedly walked out the street.
He called my name repeatedly but I continue to walk. I was about to call a cab when his car popped beside me.
“Come in, okay!” He called me.
I just shook my head and went inside. I just keep my mouth shut until we arrived at their mansion.
The gate is open and we saw one of their maids. I quickly ambled towards her.
“Are your bosses here? I just saw their car wasn’t in the garage?” I said while my eyes roamed around the entire house.
“Bosses? Who are they? I just came here to clean this place. No one lives here.” My heart skips a beat after hearing it. Are they gone mad?
I quickly walked to the main door to see if she’s lying or not.
“Austin? Baby, mommy is coming! Let’s go home now!” I look around everywhere but no one was inside.
