Risa and Franco both thought of Shawn marrying Sarah before, but Maximus did not allow it because he thinks that his sister was too young although there is only a two-year age gap between Sarah and Shawn, just like Luna and Shawn. Maximus said that they do not have to involve his little sister in their business.
“Make sure to invite Maximus and his future wife to Liza and Shawn’s engagement party,” Franco said.
“Very well.” Risa smiled evilly.
“Is everything ready?” said the mother of Maximus and Sarah, Alina Frost.
She was nervous, at the same time, excited at the wedding day of his son and her daughter-in-law. She helped her daughter Sarah to prepare the wedding plans. Finally, their hard work will pay off.
Last night, she and her son were talking like mother and child inside Maximus’s office. She remembered last night how Maximus confessed his feelings about his wedding for tomorrow. She heard from his son last night that today would be a very special moment for him. She saw how his son stopped working just to prepare himself overnight for tomorrow’s wedding.
“I want my wedding for tomorrow to be very special because it will be my first wedding but not my last wedding to the same woman, Luna. I wanted to marry her again and again. So, she will never feel worthless or unloved. In the past, she’s alone, all by herself, and I wanted to be the first person to walk by her side and our children until the end” Maximus sincerely said to his mom.
Last night was the first time she heard his son speak like a real man. He’s very much liked his father. She wiped her tears because of happiness and joy. Luna really changed her son, and she was very thankful for her.
“Mom, the wedding has not started yet. Why are you crying already? You are going to ruin your makeup” Sarah said while helping her mom wiping her tears properly.
The wedding is about to start. Everyone is here, especially Maximus.
His brother was so excited last night that he’s the first person to arrive at the church earlier. She cannot help but smile because of her brother. The whole family arrived at the Church first as well before their guests.
Sarah looked at his brother in front of the altar, standing and looking at the Church door. Maximus was wearing a black cutaway jacket, gray waistcoat, white shirt, gray-and-black trousers, and ascot. He’s so handsome and good-looking today. Even though he stands so firm in the front, she can see in his eyes that he was so nervous.
Is he really nervous that he heaved a sigh every minute? Sarah thought.
The wedding has finally started, and everything is ready including the guests. The music fits the wedding, and it has started to play. Everyone is so happy and excited to see Luna and her wedding gown. Sarah and Sally are the bridesmaids, while Maximus does not have a groom’s man. It was supposed to be Shawn, but he cannot attend due to his examination day.
“She is here,” Sarah said excitedly when the Church door started to open.
The silhouette of the bride was started to form an image of a beautiful woman. It is Luna, wearing her beautiful fit and flare wedding gown. It shows off her figure. It hugs her body through the chest and waist while being a little more forgiving through the hips and thighs. In their eyes, she was stunning and gorgeous – a perfect bride for Maximus.
“Her gown and makeup made her like a real goddess,” Sally said while looking at Luna. She was so happy for her friend.
“Indeed. My brother will probably want to start his honeymoon already. I can feel his vibe in here” Sarah said while looking at Luna. She really wanted to tease her brother.
Luna started to walk on the red carpet wearing her sweet smile and beautiful eyes. She was looking at the man in front of the altar. She was looking at the man who promised to dote and give her everything. She was so happy that she wanted to cry. When she finally arrived in front of him, Maximus held her hand and guided her to his side. They both faced the priest but their gaze at each other did not go.
“You are so beautiful- I-I mean… y-you always looks so beautiful” Maximus stuttered. He does not know what to say because he was so excited and nervous. Luna chuckled because of his reaction.
The Priest started an opening prayer, naming the couple, and asking for God’s blessings. He joins their hands together and asks them.
“Do you take Luna/Maximus as your lawful wife/husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?”
“I do” Both Luna and Maximus said.
Everything went well until the couple exchanged their vows and rings.
“I, Maximus Frost, take you, Luna Florence, to be my wife. I promise to be true to you in good times, in sickness, and in health. I promise to trust you and dote you for the rest of your life, to share with you my time and attention, and give you the best of myself” Maximus said while putting the ring on Luna’s finger. Tears started to fall from his eyes. It makes his family and guest’s mouth a gap because he never cried before. This is the first time they saw the serious, ambitious man cry. He even made them laugh because of his vows.
After Luna said her vows and put the ring on Maximus’s finger, the Priest then blessed the couple.
“I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride” The Priest smiled at Maximus and Luna.
The couple faced and looked at each other’s eyes. They were both smiling and holding each other’s hands. Maximus started to lift her veils. He can clearly see the beauty of Luna. He slowly put his lips in her lips. They both felt and remembered the feelings when they had their first kiss. It was soft and tender. Their sixth kiss after a long time.
