I heard footsteps coming to my room. A loud bang at my door woke me up. Someone is banging at my door.

It’s a bad dream. I startled when my phone rings. It’s Kent calling me. I don’t have time for his drama. I want silence. I ignored his incoming calls and went back to sleep again.

I stretch my arms to feel Lucy beside me but she’s already gone. I quickly got up from my bed and I saw a missed call on my phone. It’s my wife Eloisa. I forgot to tell her that I’ll be home late. Dad pissed me so I walked out of our mansion.
“Lucy? Where are you?” I looked for her inside the whole villa but she’s not around.
I tried to call her but she’s not answering me.
Just when I realized that my phone wasn’t in my pocket anymore. She touches my phone.
“Shit!” The only thing I said and fix my things to follow her into their house.
Lucy POV
I felt restless and broken. I just wanted to rest for the whole day. I don’t care about Kent anymore. Tomorrow I will file a resignation. I’m done with him. I’m about to go to the kitchen to find something to eat when my gut felt a weird feeling again.
I feel like someone is shoveling my intestine inside that I wanted to puke again. Shit, what is this? Is the doctor not joking with me? Is she sure that I am pregnant? I laughed so hard. How can I when he wore his safety helmet every time?

Kent POV
She can’t leave me like this! I was on my way to her house. If she knew that Eloisa is my wife, why she didn’t ask me first? Why running away like a coward? I thought she’s some kind of girl who would beg for my love. I thought she was head over heels on me. Maybe Lucy changed after ten years of waiting for me. I parked my car not far away from her house when I saw her coming out from the gate. I hid so that she won’t see me. Where is she going?
She used the car I gave to her. I’m glad she still using it. I decided to follow her. Finally, we arrived in town. She parked the car in front of a hospital. I wonder what is her appointment here.
She went inside so I stepped out of my car to tailed her. She went to visit an ob gynecologist. My curiosity is getting stronger. She went inside and I quickly walked near the door. I gently push the door to open a little so that I can hear their conversation.
“Miss Mason, have a sit!” The doctor told her.
I am eager to know what is happening to Lucy.
“I know it’s hard for you to accept this since you’re working but you are four weeks pregnant!” An OB doctor said and I felt like how did it happen.
Lucy is pregnant and I am the father. I told her to be careful but why I’m hearing this thing right now. What if Eloisa knows this? How can I handle her?
“Are you sure? But ma’am I need a job! I want to get rid of this one! I can’t!” I saw her crying. I decided to go and wait for her outside.
