She recovered and decided to cook fried bacon and eggs to eat. After preparing her breakfast she put some food on her plate and started digging but a minute later her stomach won’t accept it.
She got up and went to the sink and puked again. She caresses her tummy and realizes this isn’t normal.
“Shit, this can’t be happening!” she spoke and quickly prepared herself to go to the clinic.

Kent POV
Today is Lucy’s birthday and I want to surprise her but since it’s a holiday, my wife Eloisa will suspect me if I go out today so I called Gregory to be my partner in crime.
“Hey, are you free today?” I asked him over my mobile phone.
“Maybe. Do you have plans today?” He asked me and I told to him my plans.
“Hey, slow down bro. Are you insane? What if Eloisa finds out? You will regret this!” He warned me but I insisted.
I love my wife but I hated her for not giving me a baby. I love Lucy because she is my first love and she made me feel alive and special every time we had an intimate time together.
“Please, just for today and I won’t bother you again!” I beg for Gregory’s help and finally, he accepts it.
I bought a villa in Makati. The place is my gift for her so that no one can see us and I can visit her anytime I want because it’s only nearby in the company. I’m so excited to use the bedroom where no one can hear her loud moans and strokes sounds of my thing.
I was about to go back inside the house when my father’s car park outside the gate.
I never expect him to visit this early in the morning.
“Are you surprised to see your father?” He was still the same, arrogant.
I quickly walked towards him and help him with the box in his hands.
“Let me, father. Why you didn’t call me first so that we can prepare for your meal.” I said while we both approaching inside the mansion.
He ignored me and asked for Eloisa.
“How’s your wife? I miss my daughter-in-law,” he asked me after we came inside and sat on the couch while his eyes were busy checking everything inside.
I place his box on the table.
“What is this, dad?” I asked him. It’s a white medium box. I guess it’s a newly developed wine from our company.
“Oh, there’s fruits inside. Call Ana to arrange it. It’s for Eloisa.” He said and my hint was wrong.
“I see. Do you want coffee, dad?” I asked him.
“No thanks. I just come by to check Eloisa. I heard she’s recovering? Her dad called me.” He mumbled while looking at me.
” Don’t do anything stupid! I heard about Lucy and I have eyes on her. Son, don’t hurt Eloisa. You know—” I’m sick and tired of his advice to me.
I slammed my fist on the table. I am pissed because my mind is busy with plans for tonight.
“Dad! Please just go if you keep telling me all those things! I’m not a kid anymore and I know what I am doing!” My anger is in a range that I can hold back anymore. He’s my father but he’s too over-possessive to handle my life and family.
He chuckled and narrowed his eyes on me. He’s about to mock me again when I heard Eloisa’s voice. She’s upstairs sitting in her wheelchair wearing a flowery dress. I was shocked to see her coming out of our room. I thought she’s not still recovered but dad was right. Eloisa regains her little strength and body after undergoing chemotherapy.
“Did I interrupt you guys?” She asked us.
I quickly went upstairs to help her walk.
“No, just a small argument. Can you walk?” I asked my wife.
“A little. Just support me, honey.” She said and I help her going down.
She put her hands on my shoulders while supporting her waist from falling.
“Here” I help her sat on the couch beside my father.
“Hi, father. I’m so happy you stop by!” Eloisa talked like she’s fine now.
Her smile and face look fresh.
“I just want to see my son’s wife’s condition. How’s your health? Did Kent gave you a headache?” My dad said while glaring at me.
I rolled my eyes at him. I had no time for this.
“Excuse me. I just need fresh air!” I said and walked out of the mansion.
I heard dad’s calling my name and Eloisa but I shut my ears for them. They both are liars. They treated me like a kid. Even my wife fooled me. How can she hide from me about her condition? Is she playing with all along?
“Hello, Lucy is ready, I’m on my way!” I called Lucy to ease my anger.
“Okay, I’ll wait, bye” her voice sounds sick.
“Does she have a fever?” I mumbled.
