Liza is determined to take Shawn away from her, while Luna had no power to do something for Shawn. Liza took advantage of every opportunity she has because this is the only chance for Liza.
Luna decided not to bother Shawn for two weeks since she needed to focus on the upcoming licensing exam. She wanted to prove herself to Shawn that she is the right person for him. She will prepare something for Shawn after the exam.
For the past two weeks, Luna pushed herself to study and make improvements. She missed Shawn so much. She wanted to see him. Sometimes she wondered if Shawn ever thought of her too.
“Wait for me Shawn. I will pass the board and will rank number 1. I will fulfill my promise, our promise. I will be a doctor to prove my worth”. Luna said eagerly while eating her snack.
She remembered before that Shawn asked her worth. She felt sad and pain from those words especially from Shawn’s mouth.
Luna is determined to snatch Shawn away from Liza. Even if the chances are minimal, Luna is willing to take the risk, just for Shawn, only for Shawn because from the very beginning Luna believed that Shawn is only meant for her.

“Good luck on your test!” the staff said to Luna with a big smile on her face, which made Luna happy. She mouthed Thank you and left the information desk. She is going to take her Board exam today, so she arrived early to avoid being late.
She was waiting for this day. To pass the board and to become one of the top doctors in Lucas Hospital. Lucas Hospital is one of the famous and largest hospitals in the country owned by the Lucas family. Lucas’s family was a family of brain and doctors. Soon the hospital will be inherited by Shawn Lucas as soon as he finished his study abroad and became a doctor.
Shawn needs to be a doctor not only in one specific system of the body but almost all parts of the human body because his parents were expecting a lot from him. He is the only child of the family that is why the pressure from his parents was sometimes unbearable.
Although Luna and Shawn’s parents were not on good terms, Luna still wanted to become a doctor from their hospital because of her promise. This is one of the reasons why Shawn fell in love with her. She is a strong woman who never breaks what she promises.
While walking, she remembered that Shawn wanted her to work at his Hospital when he became a Doctor because Shawn wanted to see her and work with her almost every day and forever if it is possible. He wanted to have someone who would help him and take care of those people in need. She needs Luna. Being a doctor is a busy job. They might only spend less time with each other if they started their job, that’s why if Luna becomes a Doctor, he could still be with her even at work, but that thing they promised to each other might never happen because of their situation.
She smiled when she reminisced those memories but also felt sad when she realized that those promises might never become true, even if Shawn finally remembers her, if his feeling is different, nothing could make sense. She read some cases like this when Shawn got into an accident.
She heaved a sigh and shook her head. She does not want to be bothered by their memories. Not even today. If she wanted to focus on winning Shawn, she needs to power up her status and make a name for herself to prove that she is not worthless like Shawn thought.
Luna decided to find her room because there are only twenty minutes left before the exam starts. But while still finding, she saw two familiar faces not too far while walking in the hallway of the building. She stopped and her heart sank when she recognized the two familiar faces. She remembered that Liza was also a nursing student with a low IQ in their school.
It is a fact. When Luna and Liza became friends, Liza would always ask Luna for a favor to help her and do her projects. Sometimes she will pay Luna for some help. If only Luna did not need money, she would never do Liza’s project in the past.
Shawn and Liza. It was them.
She saw how Shawn cheered and said good luck to Liza. She felt the pain in her heart when she saw how Liza kissed Shawn’s cheeks. Shawn got surprised by Liza’s action.
It disgusted Luna a lot since she knew that Shawn only remembers Liza because of the accident. If only Shawn is in good condition, he will never let Liza touch even the strand of his hair. Seeing them together already breaks her heart. What more about seeing them holding hands.
She should be the one who was kissing his cheeks, not Liza. Luna thought to herself then decided to continue to walk.
It made her really upset seeing Liza was taking advantage of Shawn’s condition. Liza polluted his mind and possibly put more lies to Shawn’s head to prevent Luna from his life.
She decided to go to Shawn to talk and ask about his condition because until now, she worries a lot about him. However, someone approached her and held her wrist.
“Hi! Can you help me?” she turned and saw a sweet smile from a lady who looked like her age.
At one glance, Luna already knew that the lady in front of her was cheerful and optimistic. Luna stopped from walking to fully observe the woman in front of her. She felt warm when she thought of her smile.
She is very beautiful. Luna thought to herself.
She was elegant wearing branded clothes. She scanned the lady from head to toe and it caught her attention because of the similar style she used to wear. It was gorgeous!
“Oh, h-hello. How can I help you?” Luna asked while the lady was still holding her wrist. It was kind of familiar.
“I finally met you,” the lady said with a hint of interest in her voice. Luna got confused because she did not understand what the lady meant, and she never saw the face before.
“What did you say?”
