Lisa smiled embarrassingly and said, “I was just telling the truth.” She clutched the corner of her dress trying to escape from her but the next moment, someone else also joined them.
“Auntie.. How are you feeling now? Should we head back home first?” A sweet and loving voice came of Giovanna.
Giovanna held Rheena Carlos’s hand, and she looked at her affectionately and said, “Oh dear, I am absolutely fine. You go and enjoy the party with Augustus.”
“If you are not well, how can we both enjoy party Auntie.” Giovanna said softly. All the words she said to her seemed like sugar-coated. Lisa frowned while listening to their loving words; it makes her feel sick and guilty. The man she was talking about with so much right is now her husband legally.
Giovanna totally ignored Lisa’s appearance and took Rheena Carlos’s arm and pulled her to the elevator to send her back. While the door closed of elevator, Giovanna showed a proud smile to Lisa, like showing off her about her status in Augustus mother’s heart.
Lisa rolled her eyes like she really cared about pleasing his mother. It’s just a matter of two months after that she will leave from here forever. And then there will be no Giovanna and Augustus in her life any more.
While thinking of it, she felt a little ping of pain in her heart. But it goes away quickly and then she went inside the hall where party was still happening. As soon as she entered, Cristian found her and they walked together to the group of their colleagues and chatted happily. Lisa tried her best to maintain her distance from him and eventually Cristian also sensed her being distant from him. Giovanna was holding Rheena Carlos, Rheena Carlos was not feeling well at this moment so that is why she was sending her back to home. Soon Augustus also came and helped her mother to sit carefully, he wanted to accompany her but she refused him.
Augustus then ask Giovanna to take care of his mother. . Giovanna was stunned when Augustus asked her. In reality, she was just putting an act to be caring for her aunt but in real she just wanted to get rid of her so that she could spend some alone time with Augustus. Today she had also brought a special pill for him so that she could make him hers tonight.
In the party, she was succeeded carefully to give him the medicine without anyone noticing. Now just she needs to be alone with him to accomplish her mission. While Lester and Rheena Carlos went away she would be alone with him then. But to her surprise, Augustus wanted her to leave too.
She wanted to refuse immediately but she can’t. She had to put on the show of caring for her aunt. After all, she was the only one who always supported her. She said yes helplessly and then sat inside the car unhappily.

Many hot shots and honorable guests had left the party, only the employees were present at the party and enjoying it heart fully. Soon an employee grabbed a mic and became the hostess of the party Augustus didn’t mind and let the employees enjoying the party the way they want. He silently sat on the sofa and watched every one’s happy faces.
After resolving his issue from Lisa, he was also much better and calm now. All the employees teamed up in a group and played games. Augustus announced to give 10, 000 lira to the winner of the game.
They played several games and those entire employee who won got a cheque of 10, 000 lira by Augustus.
Cristian pulled Lisa to play the last game, during all the games he asked her to participate but she refused. She kept glancing at Augustus from time to time scared that he would get mad on her for standing beside Cristian but Augustus seemed to be in good mood so she nodded her head and went up to the stage.
It was a song chair game, where a group of 6 people would walk around the 5 chairs and after the song stopped they had to sit on the chair hurriedly the one who was left would be out of the game and the one who remained at the chair in the last would be the winner.
Augustus saw Lisa on the stage and an idea flashed into his mind. Last time, at the Christmas party because of him they lost so now he thought of helping her to win. He stood up and gestured the hostess to come to him. He then whispered something in his ear. The hostess nodded and left.
He then announced on the stage, “This time, Mr. President is going to play and stop the song. So everyone cheer up for our great President.” Everyone clapped excitedly and Lisa looked at Augustus in surprise.
Augustus winked at her and smiled. Lisa smiled back she understood what he was trying to do. She felt warm by thinking about that Christmas party, she had scolded him a lot that day and he didn’t even complain at that time. She also remembered his frustrated look when Lisa and Maria were ignoring him completely.
Soon, the game begun and Lisa always got the chair when the music paused, At last only she and Cristian were left. While walking around, she knew Augustus would stop the music when she was near the chair but Cristian was smart he was walking with her very close to not miss the chance.
Lisa felt uncomfortable and asked him politely in slow voice, “Can’t you walk a little away from me?”
“Nope.” He answered shamelessly.
“Let me win this game.” Lisa pleaded lightly.
“Well, i have an idea we both can win then.” Cristian smirked showing his perfect teeth.
Lisa was puzzled just then music stopped while Lisa was going to sit, Cristian pulled her arm and picked her up in his arms horizontally and sat on the chair. “See like this.” He said proudly.
Lisa panicked and tried to get off from his grip but he just didn’t let her go. She hurriedly looked at the Augustus. His face darkened, his eyes were throwing blades at her and Cristian. He turned and walked away. Lisa looked at his back with guilt.
The Hostess brought the cheque and appreciated both friendship of winning together. All the people in the audience were cheering and teasing them for being more than a friend. Lisa shot Cristian a glare, she then took the mic from hostess and said angrily, “The winner is clearly Cristian Silas not me. And we are clearly just friends don’t misunderstand anything everyone.”
Without looking back, she left the hall hurriedly in search of Augustus. She looked around and there was no one outside. After thinking for a while, she took her courage and stepped into the man’s washroom to look for him. As expected, when she stepped in she saw Augustus, washing his face with cold water. He looked at her coldly and said sarcastically. “So, he didn’t let you lose huh.?”
Lisa didn’t know what to say. She looked at his cold face with guilt in her eyes. Augustus took the tissue, wiped his face and threw it in the dustbin. Just when he walked passed her Lisa grabbed his arm, “Augustus.. Please listen to my explanation.” She pleaded.
Augustus looked down at her with anger, “What is there to explain. He is your dear friend and who am I to you.?”
“You are my husband, Augustus.” Lisa said firmly. Maybe it’s the first time she mentioned him as her husband. Augustus who was feeling dizzy just now came back to his senses instantly and with his eyes wide opened looked at her.
“I didn’t know he would pick me up like this. I had already warned him to not touch me again.” Lisa continued to explain.
‘Why you have come here then?” he asked.
“I was afraid you misunderstand, like you did last time so i came here to explain to you.” She said honestly.
Augustus pulled back his arm and said in a disrespected tone, “This is a man’s toilet room.” he then walked away in disgust.
But next moment, Lisa pulled his coat bringing him back to face her and then she said with a serious face, ” Are you still angry with me?” While speaking she was unconsciously pulling his coat and both came very much close to each other.
Augustus took a deep look on her serious face, she looked extremely beautifully in the makeup today and also the way she was taking the initiative to pull him to her it was very much attracting, no matter how hard he tried he just couldn’t walked away from her so the next moment he lowered his head and kissed her.
This time Lisa didn’t push him away neither she pulled herself. She stood there firmly and gave him an access of her mouth while opening it willingly. Augustus held her waist and pushed her to the wall, looking at her willingness he deepened the kiss excitedly and soon his hands moved from her waist to her thighs squeezing it hard.
He remembered, he told her that except weekend he won’t touch her on any other days. But right now his mind and heart both were stimulated by the pill given by Giovanna and he was in great need of ejecting himself on her. While they both were busy a voice of some men came with the sound of heavy foot steps..
Augustus hurriedly broke the kiss and pulled her inside one of the compartment. Lisa asked nervously, “What are you doing?”
“It’s your punishment time.” He said evilly and took off his suit jacket, he then unbuttoned his cuff , rolled up the sleeves and walked over her with burning desire in his eyes.
