After he left Lisa looked up, she then saw inside the bag. There were three types of tampons light, medium and heavy. She took one and used it but she didn’t have any clothes with her so after cleaning herself she poked her head to see Augustus and then went out silently.
She opened the cupboard and put on the nightdress and robe. Just when she turned she saw Augustus standing leaning at the door of the cloakroom. She yelled in shock. “Ahh”
“What? Still afraid of me.?” He sneered displeasingly.
“Why you’re always so quiet.?” Lisa complained in low voice.
Augustus walked towards her step by step making her nervous. “So?” He asked.
“So what?” Lisa asked confusingly.
“Did you know?” He asked in an interrogating tone.
Lisa’s mind was blank what was he talking about. “Huh..?”
Looking at her dumb face, Augustus said embarrassedly, “Your…” He paused and looked down at her Lisa followed his gaze and instantly understood his hidden meaning.
She took a step back and pulled her robe tightly. “No, I didn’t.” She defended herself.
Augustus narrowed his eyes on her. Lisa felt nervous by his gaze and hurriedly explained, “If I would have known, why would I ask for your help?”
Augustus was very much embarrassed because of his questions and her confessions. He knew this isn’t right for him to ask about her periods but still he couldn’t help but ask her if she played him intentionally.
He was very much excited for tonight but now he got nothing. His mood was ruined by it. Still, he bears it and went out to bring her the thing.
He coughed in embarrassment and said, “Let’s sleep.” He then turned into the room. Lisa followed behind him with her head lowered.
When she entered the room, she froze by the scene in front of her. She saw clothes falling on the floor one by one she then looked up and saw Augustus standing only in his boxers facing his back on her. She stared at his perfect body in admiration.
Augustus knew Lisa was behind him so instead of getting into the bed. He started stretching his muscles to give her a great show of his body. Lisa was immersed in staring at him just then Augustus turned and asked with an evil smile on his face, “Have you seen enough.?”
Lisa was dumbfounded. She nervously turned and hid in the quilt quickly. She stuttered, “No… No, I didn’t..”
“Ha..!” Augustus chuckled and got into the bed too. He pulled her closed by her waist and whispered in her ear, “If you want I can give you a whole show of my naked body after all I am your husband.”
Lisa felt hot all over her body listening to his words. She immediately refused, “No need.”
Augustus was unhappy from her immediate response he tightened his grip on her waist. Lisa frowned in pain but pursed her lips to not make a voice and tried to sleep.
Late at night, Lisa was groaning in pain and kept turning her side in her sleep. As Augustus, was a light sleeper he woke up frustratedly because of her movements. “What.?”
Lisa kept turning in pain, holding her stomach tightly. Augustus finally sat up annoyingly and rubbed his eyes to look at the crazy woman beside him.
Lisa’s forehead was covered in sweat and her eyebrows were tightly knitted. Her face was pale from the pain. Augustus thought she was having a nightmare he shook her to wake her up but she didn’t respond.
“Pain.. Ahh…” Lisa frowned after a while. Augustus was ready to sleep again just then Lisa’s weak voice came. He turned to her and saw that her stomach was in pain. He then remembered about the article he read before buying tampons.
“Is she having menstrual cramps.?” Augustus murmured to himself. He then gently pulled her towards him and then rubbed his hands to make it warm. He then gently placed his hand on her stomach through her silk nightdress. Lisa gradually calmed a little, he then rubbed her belly in circular motions slowly.
After a long time, when he was sure that she has fallen asleep peacefully. He withdrew his hand and then looked at her calmed sleeping face. He wiped the sweat from her forehead and then kissed her lovingly.
He then turned and tried again to sleep but because he was disturbed before so now he couldn’t sleep properly and woke up very early.

Next morning, when Lisa woke up the man beside her was long gone. She looked around but it was deadly silent in the room she then saw a note at the bedside and took it.
“Going to work. Have breakfast first.”
Just one sentence was enough to warm her heart, the note from Augustus felt so precious to her she folded it and carefully kept it in her bag. She then took shower and went down.
As soon as she entered the kitchen, she saw the boxes of food on the dining table. One box caught her attention, “Finish It” on the top of the box was written it Lisa opened the box with curiosity it was broccoli and barley soup.
She immediately searched on the internet and saw that this soup prevents menstrual cramps. She frowned and then she remembered last night she felt restless while sleeping but after a while, she felt very warm and comfortable and she slept so well at night. “Does Augustus comforted me at night.?” She said to herself confused.
A smile appeared on her face thinking of Augustus taking care of her. When she was with Tom he didn’t pay too much attention to the little things but Augustus, he seemed to notice every single action of her either it’s small or big. Even if it was a temporary marriage for him he still had been treating her as a doting husband. Since the time, she came here.
She picked up the box and drank all the soup gladly. Although she didn’t like broccoli but still today she drank it she felt a little bitter in her throat bit still her lips were curved all the time while she was eating.
After eating, she had nothing to do so she thought of making a huge meal tonight to compensate Augustus. She got herself busy in the kitchen. Lia and Rita also helped her in the kitchen.
After they both left, Lisa watched the tv to kill the boredom, she thought of calling Augustus but stopped on second thought “what if he was busy with something?”
She decided to wait patiently. Until 7 ‘o’clock the main door was unlocked from the outside and a man’s footsteps were heard. Lisa rushed to the door to see Augustus changing his shoes hurriedly.
“You’re back.” She greeted him with a smile but he didn’t look at her and said by passing through her, “I am going out for dinner, Lester will drop you home.”
Lisa looked at his back in a daze and felt unhappy. She froze at the same place for a while, just then Augustus stepped out of the bedroom in the changed suit. He glanced at her and went to change his shoes.
Lisa came back to her senses and said, “I can go by myself. Don’t bother.” She threw this sentence and turned to get her purse just then Augustus’s cold voice came from behind. “No need”
Boom
He slammed the door and left. Lisa turned to look at the door and felt disappointed. “Huh… You think too much Lisa. You’re a complete idiot..!” She cursed herself angrily.
In the car, as soon as Lisa sat in the car she smelled a familiar strong scent. She remembered this scent, when the first time Giovanna came to the hotel she has had this on her. It was too strong that whole atmosphere lingered in the scent.
She felt sad. “So the reason why he left hurriedly was to have dinner with Giovanna.” She smiled sadly and looked out of the window, a tear fell from her eye. She immediately wiped her tear “he is not worthy of my tear.” She murmured but she still felt pain in her heart.

Whole day in the office, Augustus was caught in the thoughts of Lisa. “Did she wake up? Did she eat? Is she still having cramps?” He kept glancing at his mobile phone from time to time waiting for her message. But the whole day she didn’t send him a single word.
He felt disappointed and annoyed. But still he maintained to calm himself by thinking of her leaving today so he would have the dinner with her and then he could complained her about her behavior towards him.
He instantly got back his calm posture and left the office excitedly for home. But to his surprise, he bumped into Giovanna on his way out.
She came here personally to invite him for dinner prepared by his loving aunt, Scott. Because she was travelling so she won’t be able to attend the inauguration party of Augustus’s new hotel. So she asked him to come over for dinner to compensate him.
No matter how much Augustus disliked Giovanna but he extremely loves and respects his aunt so there is no room left for him to refuse her now.
He made an excuse to change his clothes to go home and check on Lisa before she left. But Giovanna tried to come up with him at his apartment, he somehow managed to make her stay in the car.
He was afraid if she would see Lisa that would be a big trouble and right now he doesn’t want any fuss. So he hurriedly changed and left just glancing at her to make sure she is fine.
After he left the house, he felt relieved when he saw Giovanna sitting in the car obediently and waiting for him. After Lester dropped him at his aunt’s home he then ordered him to send off Lisa her home safely.
