“Fine..! I am going to find the key of this damn door.” Augustus kicked the door angrily and turned to the lawn where Bella used to hide the spare key. But to his surprise, there was no key but a postcard written “FOOL” on it.
“Fool? You dare call me that..!” Augustus stomped his feet angrily and walked towards the door. He slipped the post card through the door and shouted, “It isn’t funny.”
Bella giggled and asked, “Why you’re here?”
Augustus slipped the marriage certificate and said, “For this.”
Bella exclaimed and shouted in disbelief. “You’re not kidding?”
“See yourself. The stamp is original.” Augustus sneered.
Sure enough, Next second Bella opened the door with marriage certificate in her hands, “So you’re married now..!” Bella eyed him up and down and said happily.
Augustus stepped inside and squeezed her ear tightly, “Who did you call fool? Huh.?”
“Ahh..” Bella exclaimed in pain.
“I came here to apologize and share the news with you but you…. you tried to play me huh.? Who’s the fool tell me now..”
“Ahh… me .. me.” Bella said with difficulty.
“Good and did you forgive me now? Hmm?” Augustus asked putting more pressure on her ear.
“Yes yes I do my dear friend. Leave me please it hurts.” Bella begged him.
Augustus let her go and walked inside. He then sat on the sofa and said, “So my friend, I hope you get your lesson today.”
Bella rubbed her ear and murmured, “You’re even worse than an enemy.”
“What? What did you say?” Augustus narrowed his eyes.
Bella coughed nervously. “Nothing… nothing.” She then sat beside him on the sofa. “So how did this happen? Last time if I remember you were pretty rough with her.”
“That’s in the past.” Augustus replied.
“So what now? Are you planning a wedding?” She asked excitedly.
“No, it’s just temporary.” Augustus refused.
“Temporary.” Bella asked confusingly.
Augustus than explained Bella everything in detail. Bella looked totally surprised after hearing him.
“So you did all of this to help her. You don’t love her, neither you are attracted to her?” Bella asked with curiosity.
“I like her, there is little attraction too but definitely it’s not love.” Augustus said firmly.
Bella narrowed her eyes and gave him a look “Like really?”
Augustus pinched her nose and said, “Stop stressing your little brain and go make me something to eat. I am hungry.”
Bella pushed his hand away. “You’re so annoying Augustus.” She then went to the kitchen to bring food for him to eat.
After she left, Augustus started thinking about her words. “Is he really starting to fall in love with her? No.. no, he can’t she’s just his antidote. Once he took control of himself and totally quit taking pills. Everything would be over than and Lisa also didn’t love him at all.
Bella warmed up the creamy chicken pasta she had made last night. Augustus didn’t make any fuss, he always treated her as his own sister so he won’t mind whatever nonsense she talks or do.
They both ate it while chatting. Bella is a very talkative person even Augustus tried to remain silent he just can’t. Augustus told her that Lisa will come over to his place on weekends. Bella than suggested him some ideas to welcome Lisa at his home Augustus listened to all of her silly ideas but did not accept anyone in front of her.
Soon it was 9 and Augustus got up hurriedly and left Bella’s place. He was late for meeting but he didn’t regret it he was instead happy that today finally he made up with his two women gladly.

Lisa’s sister, Laura and her brother, Daniel both were shocked and surprised when Lisa showed up. Daniel skipped his tuition classes to spend some time with his sister. Lisa’s younger sister, Laura lives in a hostel as she is under-age. Lisa took the permission from her counselor so that all three could spend some time together.
Firstly, they went to an amusement park and all three together sat on the swings, they played many games together just like when they were little kids. Their memories came to life again. After that, they went to the bar where his brother did night shift. As Laura was under age so she was stuck to juice while Lisa and Daniel took the beer as a reunion celebration.
Daniel drank a lot probably because he looked like the happiest between all of three. Lisa didn’t drink much because she had to travel back. Daniel then pulled both his sisters to dance floor to dance. They danced happily and cherished every moment together. Lisa’s all worries faded in an instant while being with them. At last, she made a good decision coming to them.
After sending Laura back to the hostel. Daniel took Lisa to the train station and bought her a ticket. Lisa hugged him goodbye and sat in the train.
On her way back, Lisa felt very relaxed and light. Both Laura and Daniel asked her about the Simon case but Lisa didn’t tell them the truth and re assured them that everything is in her favor and they don’t need to worry about anything at all.
By telling the truth of this contract marriage she doesn’t want to spoil this precious time with them. She then clenched her purse tightly remembering about the marriage.
By the time, she reached her apartment it was midnight. She just took off her clothes and went straight to sleep.

Next day, Lisa woke up in daze and picked her phone to check the time. But when she unlocked the screen, her eyes became wide opened. There was a message from Augustus. “Be ready. Lester will pick you at 7.”
When she looked at the time. It was already 5, it means she had two hours. “Shit….! How could I slept so much.” She touched her forehead and cursed.
She then got up, took shower and shaved her body after thinking for a long time. She felt nervous and scared at same time as what Augustus will do to her tonight. She then shook her head and comforted her heart by saying, “He is your husband now, he won’t harm you.”
She didn’t have any appetite. She just drank a glass of juice, made her bed and then put some clothes in her bag and daily necessities.
At sharp 7 ‘o’ clock. Lester knocked her door, she opened it all ready and stepped out with the bag in her hand. Lester looked at the bag and shook his head. “Boss said you don’t need to bring anything Madam.”
“Madam?” Lisa frowned and looked at him confusingly.
Lester took the bag from her hand and kept it inside. Lisa than locked her apartment and stepped down with Lester. Lester politely opened the door for her and she sat inside.
Lester than drove the car. He had his Bluetooth headset on. He received someone’s call and answered, “Yes Boss. Madam will be there in twenty minutes.”
Lisa frowned and asked, “Is it Augustus?”
“Yes Madam.” Lester answered.
“Madam? Why you’re calling me Madam?” Lisa asked him totally puzzled.
“Well… you are now Mrs. Augustus Carlos I don’t dare to call you by your name.” Lester explained.
“Call me Lisa. It’s totally fine with me Lester.” Lisa said with a smile on her face.
“Umm.. I don’t think Boss would like it. Please Madam let it be this way.” He said hesitatingly.
Lisa knew she can’t argue on it further. So she just nodded her head. Soon they arrived at the residential building. Lester asked her to go alone to the apartment. Lisa nodded and went inside the elevator she knew the code of his pent house. She simply pressed the code number and the lift went up.
Her heart was beating so wildly. It felt like it was going to jump out of her throat. Soon the elevator stopped and Lisa stepped out, took a deep breath and then pressed the doorbell.
Augustus opened the door and he was talking on the phone. He smiled at her and then pointed at the shoe rack indicating her to change her shoes.
Last time when she was here. She was walking barefoot because she didn’t have any slippers and his housekeeper’s slippers were too huge for Lisa.
Lisa saw a new pair of slippers of her size. She felt warm by looking at his concern and wore it immediately.
Augustus waved his hand for her to walk around and he went into his study.
Lisa looked around and suddenly something caught her eyes. There was a sliding door on the left she walked towards it excitedly and opened the door slowly to see that it was a balcony.
The balcony was very simple. There was a rug, table and chairs in it, nothing else. It seemed like Augustus doesn’t come here very much.
She stood near the railing and admired the view. The whole city was lit up and there was a large beautiful pool down on the ground, on which the moonlight was shining brightly.
Augustus lived on the 32nd floor so it was quite a great view to see. Lisa closed her eyes and breath. The weather was windy at night and cold too. She shivered by the cold breeze and pulled her jacket tightly.
Suddenly, two warm hands held her waist and something warm covered her whole body from behind.
