Tory’s POV
I quickly entered Toni’s room, looking for something that’ll fit Rachel best, I found it – a red short gown. I sneezed several times due to Toni’s perfume.
It smelled like a mixture of different perfumes everywhere in her room. She wasn’t home, she probably went to the party too, I would have given her a piece of my mind about this perfume issue! What the hell?
I quickly went outside and Brian seemed to be the one around.
” Jake’s party please,” I said and he flashed me a mischievous grin seeing the red gown peeking out of my bag a little.
” Just drive !” I said, getting in the car.
” So, when are you gonna tell me the way to your sister’s heart?” He said as he turned on the car. I groaned at his persistent questions about Tia.
” I’ve already told you, you have to be a bad boy and stinking rich, since you’re none of that, I suggest you move on with your life!” I said, rolling my eyes at him while he just smirked.
” I could be both” he said and I really couldn’t help but get slightly annoyed. Maybe it was because he sounded like Nate – had almost the same British accent as him. It sometimes made me wonder how he could sound so rich and expensive when he spoke but he was just a driver.
” By robbing a bank? Good luck with that” I said and he laughed before he started to say something but abruptly decided against it when I gave him a serious look.
When we got there, I saw some teens outside the small building and immediately felt like just sitting in the car while I call Rachel to come to get her stuff because I know I’m going to see that oaf called Nate and his annoying best bud, Isabella and I have zero tolerance for them!
” Are you gonna go in or what?” Brian asked smiling in a way that annoyed me.
” Shut up,” I said before I got out of the car and he threw his head back as he laughed hard. The guy really has got nerves, sometimes, it’s really hard for me to accept that he’s our driver.
” Have a great party!” He yelled before he drove off.
” Wait! Don’t go!” I yelled back and a couple of the people outside stared at me. I just shook my head and dialed Rachel’s number on my phone.
” Where are you?” I asked when she answered her phone, relief washing over me.
” At the back of the house” she said with a small voice and I immediately felt bad for her.
“Okay I’m coming to you right now ” I said reassuringly as I walked by the side of the house.
Thankfully, there wasn’t any plants or flowers that I had to be careful not to mess up. I saw Rachel sitting delicately on a chair under an almond tree as she looked around for me, when she eventually saw me she had this look on her face that I couldn’t exactly decipher.
” What are you wearing Tori?” She asked looking puzzled.
” Is that the thank you I get? You’re welcome then” I said as I handed her the dress and tampons wrapped in nylon.
” Thank you, Tori. It’s just, why are you wearing your uniform?” She said and I immediately looked at myself and groaned.
I’m wearing my uniform?! Oh, I didn’t take it off because I was in a hurry to get her the things she needed. Ugh!!!
” No wonder Brian couldn’t wipe that smile off his face when I said I was coming to the party and that’s probably why those people were staring at me.” I said, as I covered my face with my palm.
” Well you should’ve known that you’re still in your uniform” Rachel said looking amused.
” Look forget it. I’ve given you what you want so just freshen up okay? I need to go back before other people notice me” I said as I started to leave.
” You can’t just leave like that Tori! I bet you that this chair’s color had changed to red – thank God it’s a plastic chair” she said desperately.
” Fine, let’s go. Where are you gonna get… clean” I said reluctantly. I didn’t want to spend another second at this party but Rachel does need me.
” First of all, you are gonna have to do me a favor. Take off your sleeve and give me to tie on my waist then you’ll use your bottle of water to rinse the chair while I go upstairs and have my bath in one of the rooms.” She said quickly before she smiled at me.
” Wow, you really planned this out didn’t you?” I said as I give a serious look.
” I’m sorry, I really can’t let anyone find out about this okay? Please help me.” She pleaded.
” I’m wearing a transparent singlet in here and if I take it off….” When I saw the look on her face, I groaned in frustration and took off the sleeve and gave it to her along with the dress and tampons before I rinsed the blood-stained chair.
She hurriedly took my sleeve, tied it on her waist and went inside the house through the back door.
” Great, now I’m half-naked at the back of Jake’s house. What a great day!” I said as I stood by the almond tree.
Two guys suddenly emerged through the back door and I immediately folded my arms in a way that covered my partially exposed breasts.
I should’ve worn a bra that actually covers my breast properly!
” Sorry,” the taller guy said with a smirk before the other one kissed him and pinning him to the tree. I scoffed, feeling insecure at how they were obviously having fun while I was here hiding from everyone and moved to the back door.
As I heard more footsteps after a while, I quickly turned my back against whoever was coming.
” Dude, you hiding?” Rachel asked and I turned around.
” Rachel! Thank God”
” This dress is awesome by the way. Thanks” she said with a smile.
” For stripping half-naked so you could go clean up? Yeah you’re welcome” I said as I flashed her a fake smile and she just laughed.
” It’s not bad, it actually looks sexy”
” Are you talking about my tits! Don’t you dare talk about them, they’re sacred!” I said covering my chest as she laughed harder.
” Give me some money, I need to take a cab. That idiot Brian ditched me here.”
” Wow… He’s starting to have more nerves. Don’t worry, let me just check my purse for -”
” What?” I asked when I saw her shock.
” I had money in here but it’s gone.” She said with a frustrated groan.
” Wait, go check where you took your bath”
” Okay,” she said and dropped the nylon that probably contained her stained dress on the grass before she dashed out and came back a few minutes later.
” It’s not there”
” Try and think okay?”
She tilted her head upwards and tucked her hair behind her ear before she hit her face with her hand – great! That’s a good sign, she’s remembered.
” It’s either with your sister Toni or it’s with Nate” she said and I blinked at her trying to process what she said.
” I’m confused” I eventually confessed.
” The purse was in a jacket I wore… Jake helped me take it off when I said I was hot, that’s how he noticed that I was stained -”
” – wow that’s embarrassing” I said cringing a little.
” – it wasn’t, he was very discreet and cool about it. Anyway, when I went upstairs to freshen up, I saw Toni give it to Nate before she went downstairs and he kept saying he didn’t want it so, he might have given it back or she might still have it” she explained, she definitely seemed sure so I guess we’ll have to find them.
“How did the jacket get to Toni anyway? Let’s just find it ” I said, she nodded and I followed her into the house and closed my ears, the music playing was way worse than Toni’s horrible playlist.
” I’ll go upstairs to ask Nate while you go downstairs to find Toni” she said almost yelling because of the song.
” Okay,” I said and she rushed upstairs. As I stood there, watching the students in the sitting room, I saw the crowd of teenagers dancing to the song and shook my head, and headed for the kitchen for some unknown reason.
” Oh my gosh! Sexy choice of clothes Tori ” Toni said as she slammed the fridge shut startling me.
” What the hell are you doing alone in this guy’s kitchen?”
” Looking for drinks, duh!” She said, rolling her eyes at my dumb question.
” I can’t seem to find the drink that Idiot – I mean, Nate asked me to get” she said irritably.
” He’s already getting you pissed huh?”
” Forget it, I’ve been here for minutes.” She said as she took two cans of soda and started leaving.
” Wait, did you see Rachel’s Jacket?” I asked, realizing that that was the reason I was there.
” It’s with Nate – though he tossed it on the ground in one of the rooms upstairs”
” Are you two fighting?” I asked, folding my arms to cover my breasts as I followed her upstairs.
” Kinda, I said something out of anger, and apparently, the drink he asked me to get is the only way I can pacify his proud ass. Since I can’t find it, he’ll have to make do with this” she said as she slightly tilted another drink in her hand.
” Where’s Rex?” I asked
” No idea, he started having a mild headache so he just sort of disappeared”
When we got upstairs, we saw Rachel standing in front of one of the rooms, she looked shocked.
” Why the hell are you wearing my dress?” Toni asked while Rachel tried to tell her to hush.
” Why don’t we go downstairs and I’ll explain huh?” Rachel said as she kept looking at one of the rooms, what’s with her?
” No, I’m gonna give Nate this drink, and then I’m gonna address this violation of private property” she said before she entered the room and that’s when I saw the craziest thing ever – a half naked Nate and Isabella kissing passionately! Ewww!
” What the hell!” a very enraged male voice yelled and when we turned around, it was Rex. He just stood there glaring at Nate, while Isabella came down from the table and arranged her dress.
Nate just turned around and glared back at Rex. The nerve of the guy!
