“I will go, too!” I insisted.
Edward’s command tone, “You are not allowed to go, for your own good!”
“No!” I didn’t care, and Edward didn’t have much energy to deal with me. They got in a Land Rover and drove off. I also drove my lovely beetle and followed them.
After driving for some time, they came to a very old building and stopped in the car. I parked behind the Land Rover and followed them. They went into a dark room and turned on the lights. There was only one table in it. There was a safe deposit box on the table. Erik couldn’t wait to walk over and enter the password-113117.
With a click, the safe opened. There was a recording pen inside. Eric took it out and clicked the play button. There came a very familiar voice.
“Send this over!”
“Yes, Your Majesty!”
“Don’t tell anyone!”
“Yes, Your Majesty!”
It’s a conversation between the king and Mike. I’m confused. What are they talking about? Erik and Edward were both dumbfounded.
Erik sat down on the ground, clutched his hair and screamed in pain, “Why did he do this? Why?!”
Edward next to him comforted him.
I walked in stupidly and waited for a while then asked, “What’s going on?”
No one answered me. Erik suddenly got up and said, “I want to avenge my mother!”
Edward quickly grabbed Erik, “Don’t be impulsive, this thing doesn’t explain anything!”
Erik broke away from Edward and said, “This doesn’t mean anything? Mom’s whereabouts were only known to you, me, him and Asimov! Asimov won’t confess even if he dies! He is even less likely to kill his own child! ”
“Now there’s this recording! Is this not enough?” Eric’s eyes were in flames.
Edward still tried to persuade him. “Calm down! Calm down!”
Ms. Alen next to her also said, “Erik, you can’t be impulsive anymore. You lost your mother. Don’t you still want to have a father?”
Erik’s face is like stagnant water, “When did I have a father?”
He pushed Edward away and was about to go out.
I stepped in front of him, stretched my arms and stopped him, “I forbid you to hurt the king!”
Erik took my face and I froze. He actually kissed me on the lips.
I suddenly became petrified. My God, my first kiss, it’s this easy?
I gave it to Erik, who I didn’t like. And is there a sign… of loss?
I couldn’t move then Erik walked past me. He walked to the door and turned to look at the three of us. He said, “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything stupid.”
“I can’t make my brother and little Kely sad!” He said and turned away.
No matter how much we call him, he didn’t look back. Edward looked sad, and Ms. Alen grabbed Edward’s hand and comforted him. “It’s okay, Edward. Erik knows!”
I really regretted following them here and witnessed this scene.
But what is going on, I still have no idea.
I frowned and asked Edward, “What is going on?”
Edward sighed, “I shouldn’t tell you but it doesn’t matter now.”
So he told me everything.
When I heard this, my tears flowed down slowly and I began to hate the king. But subconsciously, there has always been a voice reminding me that Uncle couldn’t do that.
I went to find Erik, alone, trying to persuade him and give him comfort.
I found him in his room, holding a bottle of wine in his hand and standing in front of the French window, which reflected his cold face vaguely. He stared straight outside.
Outside, the king just came out of his extended Bentley and went to the main entrance of the palace with the general.
I called him, “Erik!”
He saw me sideways and smiled bitterly at me. Then he took two goblets, drummed them, poured the wine and put it in front of me. “Come, Kely, have a drink with me.”
In this situation, I can’t refuse him. I just took the glass and drank it.
There is no way I can drink it in one shot, I can only drink a mouthful. He didn’t seem to be very satisfied so I pinched my nose and drank it all.
Satisfied, he smiled and said to me, “Enough. We’re now friends!”
“Of course!” I said.
I saw my face reflected in the window, and it began to glow.
He got another drink and pushed it to me. “Come! Let’s keep drinking!”
I picked it up, didn’t say anything, and drank it in one shot. He also drank his cup in one go. With this, the bottle is now empty. He then took my hand. I already felt a little light headed. He guided me and walked into the room.
I pulled his hand and said, “Where are we going?”
“Good place!” His eyes are a little blurred.
