The king once told them that if they heard the wolf call, they should return to the base camp immediately and never stay. Judy’s voice just dropped, and there were a few more wolf calls. Judy scared the queen back.
It’s the wolf barking from the direction of Edward’s disappearance. She had to get him out! She jumped into the grass without hesitation and told Judy, “Let’s hurry up and save Edward, or the wolf will come and we’re gonna be miserable.” But when she looked back, her side was empty, and Judy had run away.
She was very scared at that time, and she really wanted to turn around and run, but she heard Edward’s cry for help along with the wolves’, so this time her voice began to tremble. She slowly went to the trap, but the trap was too deep to get him. So she had to run back to the base camp to get the rope. She trotted back to the base camp and saw Judy shivering in the tent.
There was no one else in the base camp. They were still chasing wild deer on the mountain. She got the rope, turned around and ran to Edward.
There were a few wolf calls, she seemed to feel the wolf had come to the trap side, so she sped up the pace.
About five minutes later, she ran to the trap, but from a distance, she saw a few pairs of eyes in the opposite grass, flashing by. That’s a wolf!
She could only throw the rope into the trap from a distance, she tied the other end of the rope to the tree, and then went up the tree a few times. There are several big trees in her yard. Her favorite activity was to climb trees with her father. Although she’s only a few years old, she had learned a lot about climbing trees.
After a while, Edward climbed up and went to the tree. She just looked at him and wanted to have a word with him, but he picked up a shiny thing, turned around and ran away. She was stunned for a moment when she suddenly realized something. She touched her ear. That’s right. She scraped the earring off and fell to the ground when she was climbing a tree.
At that moment, a few wolves ran out. She didn’t dare to make a sound. Edward saw the wolf and ran all the way back to the base camp. She climbed higher and looked far away. She saw him run back to the base camp, but he didn’t run into Judy’s tent. Second, he got into another tent. Anyway, he was safe. She waited for days, a few wolves ran away, then she climbed down from the tree.
By the time she walked back to the base camp, all the adults had come back. She heard Judy telling the king that she had saved Edward. Her earring is the same as Judy’s, and she saw that she took off one of her earrings. She didn’t have anything, so she went back to her tent and put the earring in the jewelry box and backpack.
Looking back on the past, Kely always feels depressed. She liked to go to the small theater behind the palace. It’s a big hall with more than ten rows. It’s like a cinema. Sometimes the king would invite some drama troupes or opera troupes to perform there. But recently, the king’s government affairs are busy, and the theater has been vacant for a long time. She ran inside. It was so dark that she couldn’t see the audience.
Kely walked up and down the stage, yelling at Edward and saying all kinds of bad things about him.
“Edward, you ass! You pervert! You dirty wolf”
“Edward, you don’t deserve to be a prince. You’re a liar! I’ll never talk to you again!” After giving vent, Kely sat down on the stage, panting heavily. Just then, suddenly, a voice came from the shade of the auditorium.
“Are you finished?” The voice said.
Kely was startled, “Who’s there?”
“Still angry? Although I don’t know what happened, I think what you said is quite reasonable!” The voice continued.
This voice is very familiar, isn’t it? She saw a figure coming out of the audience and into the light. Yes, he was Edward’s biological father, the number one man in the country, His Majesty the king.
Kely looked at the king and said, “Uncle King!”
“I think you may have misunderstood Edward,” said the King.
“You can’t be partial to him just because he’s your son!” Kely said.
“I’m not partial to him, I just know him better than you do.” The King replied, “You need a deep understanding of each other!” He added.
She was very disdainful, “I’ve known him since I was a child, and it’s almost 20 years. How can I not understand him?”
“But there are some things that you know and he doesn’t know, things that he knows and you don’t know.”
Kely was a little dizzy, “Your Majesty, are you playing riddles? I don’t understand”
“At the age of eight, Edward fell into a trap” The king paused. “Later, Judy saved him, didn’t she?” Asked the king.
She nodded as her response although that’s not true.
The king shook his head slightly. “No, Judy didn’t save him…” Then he suddenly pointed at Kely, “It was you.”
Kely was stunned, “How did you know?”
The king laughed and said, “It doesn’t matter if I know. What’s important is to let Edward know.” He stroked his shoulder, “There’s a lot about him that you don’t know. I’ll give you a chance to get to know each other again. The hotel where Edward fell into the trap, I built a hotel on it. They just finished it recently. I need someone to experience it and rent me an experience report! I’ll leave it to you and Edward for this difficult task.”
“Me? Forget about it.” Kely seems a little bit less positive.
The king’s eyes rose, “This is an order! The king’s order.”
