Outhouse

Meanwhile Jack and Rosy were still arguing on the ways to make proper use of the wooden cupboards. Finally, they came to an agreement on how it can be modified to be a separator between the bedroom and cloakroom without damaging the existing structure. This would also ensure they won’t have to raise a wall to separate the cloakroom.

Then they proceeded to mark all the furniture one by one and made several copies of the designs they had drawn for each.

Jack decided it’s best to work on the mansion itself rather than carry so many things back and forth. Besides, most of it was hand-work only, so he only needed to bring over a few tools.

After deciding on the pay and Jack’s feasibility so he can work on these without interruption, they decided to start it from next week.

Jack estimated it might take around 10-12 days to complete everything, so they parted ways after exchanging contact details and scheduling the next appointment.

Rosaline and William got very busy working on the improvisations on the AR mansion. They had to rush the repairs on the top floor of the outhouse since the gardeners would be coming in to live there for three days.

They got five different teams to work in tandem to fix everything there ASAP. Meanwhile, Tessa was tasked to dig up everything on the couple just as a precaution since William found their story on the great-grandparent being a Chinese medical practitioner rather dubious. Chandler also looked into their files and they knew all about them.

Glen and Anna Jin were both orphans who stuck with each other as family. When they were 11 they had saved a very old man and his middle-aged grandson from an accident when their car hit something and was about to combust.

That old man was a practitioner of Chinese medicine, and his grandson was learning the same, though he himself was born with congenital diseases which had resulted in ill health all his life.

In order to thank the kids, they brought them home and all 4 of them took care of each other. The two older men passed away after 7 years of this incident, and within this time they had taught Glen and Anna Jin whatever they could.

They had been collecting and selling herbs, and taking care of the house the old people had left. So the last fifteen odd years of their lives have been pretty much the same.

They were honest and hard-working. Exactly the kind of people William was hoping to find to help him with his house.
