I was at the verge of crying, sharp pain pierced through my heart, that moment I knew I was badly hurt.
I walked out on them, using all my will power not to burst out In tears
‘Iam fool!” I cursed, walking out of the class quickly.
A big fool to think Lexy of all people will fall for me.
“Did they just make fun of me?”
Everyone noticed apart from Anita, that iam the only girl he is always seen with smilling.
“You’re a dummy! Kelsi you’re dummy” I hissed blaming myself.
Tears ready to fall blocked my view, I blink and the river flowed.
I cried, I felt pained, I felt betrayed, I felt useless.
Lexy and Anita are couple, Empire high school couple.
The realization hit me pretty hard.
I stayed at the back of the classroom for sometime, I can’t go out, I was not ready for the mockeries.
Anger and jealousy surge through me.
I felt dizzy! I quickly turned around and empty every content in my belly.
Having satisfactorily emptied all the content in my stomach, i walked over to the school eatry to get a bottled water, on getting there i met Anita and her crew .
I walked passed ignoring them, bought the water turned back to see them arms folded standing on my way looking at me.
I exhaled heavily because I was definitely not in the mood to exchange words with her or fight her, everyone in the school gets scared of them but certainly not me.
“Can you excuse me please?” I asked politely trying to walk past them as they kept on blocking my way.
Seeing her alone is enough reason to burst into tears again, but I resolved not to. It would be a shame on my personality coupled with the fact that the person in question doesn’t even care about me or sees me as someone who is worth it.
“Excuse you? Like Excuse you to hell? Wow! I cannot imagine where someone who smells and dress cheap as you got the audacity to talk to us” A tall slim dark skinned girl from her crew replied hotly, and they all laugh, making haughty remarks hissing.
I sighed, holding the bottle water tightly, keeping my rising anger in check.
I looked around and saw Lexy and delvin entering into the eatry looking at our direction hands in their pocket.
Anita came forward ‘ if you think Lexy will like you, or make approach to you, You are a joke”
She smiled.
I wanted to smack that mischievous smile off her face, but was not ready for a fight now, not yet.
“Lexy is mine…” she continued, “… mine alone, you don’t worth him, he deserves someone as beautiful, flawless and expensive as me. Not a piece of trash!, You better be careful, because you’re so in it here”, she pushed me away, and walked towards Lexy.
I was pained.
Anger rushed through me, I was seeing red literally.
How dare her!
After making fun of me before everyone she still has the gut to threaten me?
The bottled water dropped to the ground as I turned and started walking towards where she was already seated comfortably on Lexy’s leg.
I must confort her! I must give her a piece of my mind, iam not someone she can trample on anymore and I really don’t care if Lexy is there with her or not, damn the both of them.
I swore that moment to give her the taste of her own medicine, no girl in school can stand her right? Well not anymore, I will break that record today, my fist was tightly folded, ready to smack her.
Suddenly a firm hand held my shoulder, I looked angrily at whoever that was, and saw a beautiful tall dark girl shaking her head starring at me.
“Don’t go after them” she said softly, trying to pull me away from the eatry.
