The sport teacher asked him to introduce himself.
“My name is Lexy Ideh”, his smooth voice came out
“Ideh? That Sounds familiar”, I thought sitting at the front row seat in other to watch the match properly.
Well, alot of people bears that name, so there is nothing wrong with it being a coincidence.
We had sport that morning, I watched the guys played football it was science department VS Commercial department that Friday, girls were cheering, guys were whistling encouraging their various departments.
Lexy and delvin were good player and everybody was cheering and encouraging them, I smiled watching him play with all seriousness dribbling his opponent.
They were everybody’s favourite, both the teachers and students, smart, handsome and energetic.

Few minutes into the match, Lexy kicked the ball flying straight into our rival goal post, a roar of excitement and jubilation filled the field.
They kept chanting most especially my female classmates, Lexy! LEXY!
I rolled my eyes when I saw Anita blowing kisses at him.
The match ended with science student giving the commercial students 3goals to Nil.
Jubilation everywhere, my class mates were singing praises to the guys for the job well done.
“Kelsi! Bring that pack of table water for the boys’ I was about leaving the field when the sport teacher called me.
I almost turned back, “what? Did he just call me of all people?” I laughed thinking my ears were hearing strange things.
“No! I’m hearing double” I assure myself walking away fast.
“Kelsi!” The sport teacher called with his arms crossed looking at me.
OMG! I slowly turned back and all eyes were on me, including Lexy looking amused.
I saw him looking at me with that same look this morning, and my heartbeat accelerated, I felt my Palm sweaty.
“si…. sir?”, I stuttererd trying not to look at Lexy.
“Get the boys that water over there” he said walking away towards the principal office.
“Okay…”, I replied,” here we go”
I gave the guys the water around me and looked around for Lexy, I saw him sitting far away on the bench.
“how will I go over there now?” I thought out loud.
“Let me just drop the water and leave” I said to myself.
I wanted to turn back and leave, but the sport teacher was there looking around, monitoring the students.
I exhaled, slowly turned back and started walking towards Lexy.
He looked up and saw me coming,
“Mr handsome can you stop starring and smilling at me? I murmured softly.
I could hear the sound of my heart beat, my feet getting heavy like I have been walking for hours.
