Once we are done I head back to my car and get ready to go to the gym and take a shower before my first class. “Where are you going?” Peter yells at me.
“I so need a shower before I start the rest of my day.” I call back.
“There are like four showers here. Why are you going somewhere else?”
“No offence but I am not getting naked with you around.”
Peter grabs his chest and falls to the ground. “You wound me.” Then he hops back up. “No seriously you can take a shower at my house and I will take one at Benjamin’s. You will have the whole place to yourself and I promise we won’t peek.” He raises his eyebrows like that is exactly what he is thinking.
I look to Benjamin to see his expression. “I swear I will keep him in line.” He nods to me.
“Fine.” I grab my bag from the front of my car and head to Peter’s. I have my clothes since I planned on showering at the gym anyway. Peter follows me in, at first I thought he was going to pull a fast one. Then I saw him go into his room to grab his clothes. He winked as he passed by on his way back over to Benjamin’s. “Just let me know if you change your mind about joining me.”
“Dream on Alpha.”
“You are certainly in my dreams.” Peter smiled as he left.
After the showers we meet back up on Peter’s lawn. “Alright I am headed to campus I’ll see you guys later.”
Peter grabs my arm. “Why don’t you ride with us? Save some gas.”
“Because I want to be able to go home after classes. I can’t do that without my car. I’ll meet you guys there.” I slide in my car and quickly pull away. These guys are too much. I chuckle to myself.
I like the silence of the ride. If I am honest with myself however, I am missing them already. I haven’t been this happy in a while. I sigh knowing that everything will change when I get to campus. The bullies will still be there and I will have to hear their taunts all day. I just hope Peter and Benjamin don’t run with having to deal with it.
I pull into the campus and it is already packed. Classes start soon so it isn’t surprising. I take a deep breath and step out of the car. I can hear it as soon as I am out.
“What the hell is she still doing here?”
“Why does she even bother coming?
“No one wants that bitch here.”
I cringe inwardly but I keep my head high. I am about half way across campus when Peter and Benjamin join me. Peter puts his arm around me. “You didn’t think you were rid of us that easily, did you?”
I laugh, “I guess not.”
Then my world crashes down. “What the hell are you doing with that slut?” I pause, and that voice belongs to my ex-mate. He rejected me because he said that I was a slut, even though he is the only one that I have ever been to bed with.
Peter and Benjamin turn to look at him, “Who wants to know?” Benjamin goes to defend me.
“Her mate.” His sandy blonde hair is pulled back today, he always liked to keep it long. His green eyes are piercing into my skin. I hate the way he makes me feel. I feel so disgusted and yet at the same time, I regret that he rejected me. He was supposed to be with me not treating me like crap.
“Ex-mate, you rejected me, Hector, remember?” I piped up.
“Boy you are stupid to reject someone fine like this.” Peter pulled me closer.
“I thought so too, until I took her to bed. There was no way she had moves like that and hadn’t been with other wolves.” Hector sneered at me.
“I wasn’t with anyone before you.” I had stated this many times but he never listened. I know now he had no intention of ever keeping me as his mate.
“Yeah right, ask anyone you’re a slut.” Hector glared at me for daring to speak to him.
Benjamin stepped towards him, “Say it again I dare ya.”
“What is she doing you both? Why the fuck do you care?” Hector prodded Benjamin.
Benjamin glared at Hector and then decked him. I couldn’t believe it, Hector was laying on the ground. He was holding his jaw. “What the fuck? She certainly ain’t worth fighting over. Why the hell did you hit me for her?”
Then as if my life couldn’t get any worse, my future Alpha and Beta come to the aid of Hector. “Why did you hit our Gamma?” Alpha Victor glares at Benjamin.
“Why was this asshole picking on our Omega?” Peter quipped. His Omega where the hell did he get that. Possessive much.
“For one that isn’t your Omega it is mine and she ain’t worth protecting.” Victor sneered at me, like he wasn’t in my room last night. We were friends when we were cubs, but after I showed that I was smart and strong, far better than the other Omegas, we drifted apart. It got even worse when Hector started the rumor that I was a slut to save face for rejecting his mate.
“Says you. I happen to think that she is worth it and that is why I asked her to join my pack this morning. You don’t have to worry about her anymore. She will be packing up and moving as soon as I find her a place to stay. So yeah, my Omega.” Peter sneered right back at Victor.
Beta Aaron pipes up, “What is she sleeping with you now? She ran out of suckers in our pack so now she has moved on to yours.” This hurt. Aaron was always the best of us, here he is right along with Hector.
“Has anyone actually ever said that they have slept with her, I mean besides this ass-wipe.” Benjamin pointed out.
“Well, no but who would admit to sleeping with the pack slut?” Aaron said. Another stab to my heart.
“Don’t you think this asshole was just protecting his own ass. He rejected his mate, he needed an excuse. Maybe he’s the whore and didn’t want to be tied down.” Benjamin was on a roll.
“Regardless of why you lost your best wolf, you did, she is our Omega now. So beat it.” Peter snarled.
“I haven’t given my permission for her to leave our pack.” Victor countered.
“If you don’t I will give cause to the council and we will see who the council sides with when I tell them how you treated your Omega.” Peter growled at Victor. “Get used to it she is leaving, and if anyone is to blame, it is your fault. You’re the Alpha to be, you are the one responsible for your pack’s welfare. You failed Olivia and now you lost her. Pick your gamma off the floor and stay out of our face.” Peter turned me around and we headed towards the class.
“I guess that was the ass you didn’t want to talk about this morning.” Peter grumbled.
Benjamin was fuming behind me. “Yeah, It was my sixteenth birthday. I was so happy to find my mate. I thought we would be tied together forever. So, I went to bed with him without even thinking twice. The next morning he rejected me, told me I was a slut for going to bed with him that quick. I was crushed. Then everyone was calling me a slut. I had to deal with it all this time. I never went to bed with anyone else. I don’t know where they were getting that. You’re right I am done with that pack.”
Peter hugged me close. “Don’t worry our pack won’t treat you like that. Plus when you kick all their asses at the training camp they will all know you are not weak.” He kissed me on the head in a comforting way. Then he dropped me off at my Communications class.
I am looking forward to History class. I will actually have a friend there. The rest of the classes are boring anyway. Plus I won’t have to deal with the glares that I am getting from Victor here in this class.
