As soon as they were gone, Daphne turned to him, ” Iam sorry if u I spoiled your fun with Sandy”.
“My fun with Sandy? I barely talked to the woman”.
“That is because you were too busy starring at her breasts”
“I could not help it, they were so big” he said smirking, ” you are jealous”
“Don’t flatter yourso” she snapped turning her back at him.
Going up behind her, he put his arms around her, cupping her breasts in his hands, ” I like yours better, just the right size”
“Get your hands off me” she said struggling to break free but he held on tight, not letting her go.
“You are making too big of a deal out of it, Iam the one who should be mad at you for smiling and giggling with Collins like you two were good friends and don’t say it’s because of Sandy’s breasts which I was not even looking at her when she kept asking me questions, come on give me a kiss and let’s make up”.
The next three month flew by and say after day Alex knew he was deeply in love with her and was still afraid to tell her, she had insisted several times that she doesn’t believe in love and marriage, but if he were to open up to her and tell her, would she say it back to him? If she doesn’t, it would crush him and he wasn’t sure how he would handle it, not wanting to risk losing her, he made his mind not to tell her.
He was busy working at his desk when Collins walked in carrying two cups of coffee, handing one to him.
“I was going to the bar after work, why don’t you come with me?”
Alex looked up at him shaking his head, ” No brother, I can’t, Iam taking Daphne out for dinner, it’s going to be a special night for us”
“Are you going to ask her to marry you? Since you both have done practically everything couples do in a relationship”
“No, it’s her birthday and Iam taking her for dinner”
“Oh, okay. But have you told her yet that you’re Inlove with her?”
“No, and stay out of my business”
“Alex If you don’t tell her, you might lose her”
“Daphne doesn’t believe in love and she had warned me several time never to try and call in love with her, all she cares about is our contract as fuck buddies and nothing more, no strings whatsoever attached”
“Oh that’s bullshit!” Collins said, getting to his feet, ” What fuck buddy? What is going on even a blind man can see that it had nothing to do with fuck buddy or sticking to a stupid contract, that girl is in love with you, hell! She turned me down on more than one occasion and that was because of you, and trust me brother if she wasn’t Inlove with you she would have been with me secretly”
Alex got to his feet and walked over to where Collins was standing, ” you came into Daphne?”
“Yes, some time ago, she slapped me across the face on one occasion when I wanted to kiss her, and even the second time too”.
Collins fell to the ground when Alex punched him, ” you kissed her twice?”
Collins stayed down, wiping his mouth, ” I never got to kiss her, the first time she pushed me away and the second time she slapped me, now can I get up or you plan on punching me again?”
“Get up!” He barked at Collins.
“Alex see, if she doesn’t love you, would she get so jealous when another woman is around you or would she have gotten mad at me for trying to seduce her? To be honest I was just testing her to see if she really cares about you and that it had nothing to do with your wealth, tell Daphne you love her before it’s too late”
“What if I do and she doesn’t feel the same way about me, then what?”
“Well then you will know for sure” Collins said, then walking towards the door he looked back at Alex, ” Good luck, Iam sure everything will work out”
Driving home he thought about what Collins had said, well he and Daphne have been living together for over seven months and things were great between them, a month ago he bought an engagement ring for her and had kept it hoping to give it to get as they confess their love for each other, maybe tonight will be the night, along with the diamond necklace he bought her as her birthday present.
