Sighing, he turned so he could stretch his body but was stopped in the process of doing so by something or someone weighty on the right side of his body.
He slowly opened his eyes and frowned a bit due to the sun seeping in from the little opening of the curtain. When his eyes had adjusted to the light that came in the room he looked down to what weighed his arm down and saw his beautiful wife Audriana.
Her head was laying on partly his shoulder, arm and right chest with her mouth slightly opened as light snores erupts from her lips, her golden hair was everywhere from their little workout the previous night.
The blanket cover her from shoulder downward while the blankets covered from his mid-torso downward.
He smiled at the sight of her and used his left arm to caress her soft slightly chubby cheeks then place a kiss on her nose to which she would sometimes shuffle or swat his hand away.
She turned around so her back was to him and he took some strands of her hair and used the tips to tickle her ear and she waved her hand meaning to slap what was there but he was quick to remove his hand.
He did that for some time and she grunted and moved a bit from him while using the blankets to cover her face. He chuckled lightly and sat up on the bed then yawned and stretched his body.
He looked at their room that already gained color by the little changes she made months ago and smiled. It was comforting and not the boring ones he had before he met her.
He loves that she completes him in so many ways and prays this is reality improves the more as they grow together.
Looking at his left, he checked the digital clock sitting there to see that it was already nine in the morning then he looked at Audriana who had no intention of waking up soon so he turned his body to face her and drew closer to her.
Taking the blanket from her face and brushing her hair away from her ear, he leaned closer there and whispered.
“Wake up beautiful”
She moved a bit and stretched her body, so he moved away so she doesn’t mistakenly hit his face when she got back to sleep.
“Wake up already, I have tried being sweet, now up,” he said loudly on her ear and she jots up hitting him on his face, and sat up with her eyes still closed.
She held the blankets to her chest and opened her eyes gradually with a frown on her face. She yawned and looked to her side to see Dimitri glaring at her while he held his face.
“What?” her voice sounded hoarse and she cleared her throat “Why are you disturbing me?” she asked in a whisper.
“First, ouch, second today is Christmas eve, and have lots of things to do today,” he told her and she just had this look of confusion as he went on telling her about what they needed to do for Christmas eve and the next day.
“That was why you started interrupting my sleep?” she asked and he just shrugged.
“Sorry for bumping on your face, even though you deserve it” she yawned again, “I think I am prepared for today, let’s get the day starting,” she said pecking his cheeks and grabbing his shirt so she would wear it and head for the bathroom.
He just watched her and smiled amidst nodding his head then proceed to lay back on the bed with his hands behind his head.
“Dimitri, get off the bed, we have a lot to do today,” she said from the bathroom and he laughed.

“Look at you so radiant and beautiful” squealed Audriana when she went to pick up Sofia from her and Max’s apartment.
“I know right, I always look good and I can see the kisses of beauty I share all over you”
“Thank you ma’am for your extended love. Not” she replied and waited for her to get in the car. “Where are the two men in your life?”
“They went to go meet up with Caleb and I think Dimitri” she replied.
“Okay, I do remember, Dimitri told me he would be meeting with the guys later in the day” she started the car and put it in motion so they could go get Emily and head to get what they would use for dinner.
“I am so excited for this Christmas, a lot happened but there is so much to be thankful for. One, the family got bigger” said Sofia.
“We get to be happy and just the thought of having each other and GOD watching over us made things better” Audriana added.
“Yes, he gave us each other and made sure to compensate each of us even when we might have you know, deviated in the wrong way and made some mistakes,” Sofia said then looked at her friend with her eyes already watering.
Audriana took a look at her and looked back to the road then gave her knee a comforting squeeze.
“He proved over and over again he will remain GOD and not leave us,”
“Whether we are in our darkest moment or in our happiest moments,” Sofia cleaned the tear that slipped from her eyes.
“He is always there,” Audriana said sniffing a bit.
“That is why we need to be grateful to him and celebrate his goodness in our lives”
“He is the reason for this season. If it weren’t for the birth of JESUS, we wouldn’t be celebrating Christmas” Audriana pointed out.
“Great point their girl. Whether or not Santa comes, we know there is JESUS who brings great tidings to us both in Christmas and in our everyday lives” Sofia said.
“I am glad for all the people around me, even if I don’t have money or any fine food to celebrate Christmas, I would be grateful to him for giving me the special gift of life and protecting me,” Audriana said and parked in the driveway of Emily.
“Let’s go fetch that woman before Caleb stops her and gives us an excuse to keep her to himself. Again” Sofia said getting out of the car and closing the door then walking together with Audriana to the front door.
“They are together forever, he should just give her to us for some girl time, you know”
“I know girl, could be because of their twins” Sofia nudges her.
“They can have them for today, Dimitri will gladly want them around him. He keeps saying how much he would be a good father” Audriana rolled her eyes.
“Do you think he would be?” Sofia asked when they stood in front of the door and rang the bell.
She didn’t get the chance to answer because Emily had already opened the door and was carrying one of her one-year-old twins who was trying to get the twin she was holding to stop pulling her hair.
“Oh, my GOD look at my beautiful niece” Sofia carried Annie from Emily and placed a kiss on her cheek which made her giggle “You love it right, you love aunt Sofia’s kisses?” she asked in a baby voice and kissed her cheeks again.
“Yo! Aunt Audri here in the building,” Audriana said touching Annie’s hair and hearing giggles followed by the presence of a very cute blonde Alan who ran in baby steps towards Audriana.
“Look at my baby,” she went on her knees and opened her arms so he could enter her embrace and she carried him then stood up then kissed his cheeks too and he hid his face on her chest while smiling.
“Aww, he is blushing. My baby Alan, so cute and wanting his aunt love” Audriana said in a baby voice.
“Hello there Alan, how is prince charming doing?” Sofia said touching his back.
“Thank you guys for coming, Caleb left about thirty minutes ago saying he needed to catch up with the boys and just rushed out after kissing the kids” Emily threw her hands up in the air and closed the door when they all entered.
“I was thinking he would keep you three hostage and refuse us from taking you with us,” Audriana said and sat on the floor with Alan who kissed her cheeks and ran to meet his mum.
“Well, we can have fun with our prince and princess here. Just go get ready and give us the clothes they would be wearing for today so we can get them dressed and we can get moving” Sofia said.
“Okay, follow me” Emily lead them to the twin’s room.
She brought out the matching green with red strip overalls she and Caleb picked up the other day for the twin and the white vest they would be wearing inside, their white sneakers too.
“This is cute,” Sofia said.
“I love the shoes. Let’s get them dressed, you already bathe them?”
“Caleb did before running out of the house” Emily replied and left the room.
“Let’s get our babies dressed so they can go have fun with the girls” Sofia placed kisses on each of their cheeks and they giggled.
“We love you,” they said at the same time.
