So we are going to be taking Ed Sheeran’s Perfect {one of my favorite songs} for their first married couple dance.

She quickly left the room and walked as fast as her legs could to the elevator.
“Wait up” she heard him call to her but didn’t bother looking back.
She pressed the button of the elevator while tapping her feet on the floor.
“Come on quick” she muttered, pressing it again.
“Why are you trying to run away from me? We are married already and have a lifetime together, so you can’t run away from me” he said, leaning on the wall and folding his arms.
She rolled her eyes and let out a sigh, turning her head a bit to look at him. He winked at her and she rolled her eyes yet again.
“So… you enjoyed what we had going on in there, eh?” he asked with a smirk letting his gaze linger over her body before settling in her red-tinted face. “I could see how much you enjoyed my touch and how flushed you were when we got caught,” he chuckled.
“It was like we were caught doing something nasty in a restaurant kitchen” he laughed and she gagged.
Was he serious right now? How long will she have to endure this from him? How long? The idea of the both of them doing it made her cheeks warm again.
He was quite satisfied with the reaction he got from her and thought marrying her wasn’t that bad. At least he could enjoy teasing her every single time. But what worried him was the fact he had to stay celibate and he is so sure she would never let him in.
A few flirting could go a long way though but he doubts those will get to her. She seems pretty decent to let that happen.
“I know I was amazing, you don’t have to say though, I get that you are probably too shy to tell me so I will give myself the credits.” he flipped an invisible hair and winked at her again.
She faced him with both hands on her hips and a frown lacing her features.
“What the hell is your problem dude?”
“Woah there, I am no dude to you. I am your husband” he said standing straight from leaning on the wall and copied her stance.
“Look here, it is better when we don’t talk, just ignoring each other and not caring or anything. I would really appreciate it if you could just shut the hell up and stop giving yourself praises” she said feeling angry.
“You aren’t even as good as you think you are, I have experienced better” she crossed her arms facing the elevator again.
Just on cue the elevator dinged and opened. A couple was inside making out and stopped when they felt stares being thrown at them. The blond woman bent her head and walked out of the elevator taking quick steps, her lover followed her quickly before they disappeared in a corner.
She looked at Dimitri who had a surprised and annoyed look on his face. She didn’t bother and just entered the elevator waiting for it to close.
What the hell was that? He asked himself. Every lady, every woman he had an affair with in the past could testify he was really good at this. Even the ones he hasn’t kissed could tell a tale of it. It was a huge blow to his ego and that made him furious.
Who had she kissed that made her compare them with him? What the– this can’t possibly be true. His palm formed a fist at the first person that came to mind. No wonder she was so cozy around him.
Who has their ex come to their engagement party? Who?
“Well ever heard of ‘First time for everything?'” he could hear her words from the other day ringing in his head. He groaned and put his hand on his face before entering the elevator.
He looked at her as she leaned on the railings of the elevator while going through her phone. He pressed the ground floor and the door started to close.
He leaned on the railing too, looking at how the elevator door closed but widened his eyes when he caught a glimpse of a particular red-haired walking past the elevator. He launched at the door but it was too late as it had closed already.
Audriana looked from her phone to Dimitri who had his hand to his head, she scrunched her face when she heard him muttering something under his breath.
“She couldn’t be the one” was what she could grab from what he was saying.
“Who wouldn’t be the one?” she asked and he turned to look at her.
She saw his face drained of any color and he had a cold look on his face, she could feel chills run through her entire system just by his look.
Who could have made him have such a look on his face? He looked distant, cold, scared, and angry. It possibly couldn’t be because of what she said earlier, could it?
He looked away from her and rubbed his palm on his face, trying to calm his raging heart. She can’t see him this way, that was supposed to be his past, what then does it affect him so much.
Nothing changed, nothing at all. How could she still have so much control over him after such a long time? He was over that phase, he was supposed to have moved on.
What did the hell happen? What just happened?
He leaned on the railings and closed his eyes trying to let it all go, he wanted it to be gone forever.
They stood in silence as the elevator went down.

“Now we will be calling on our newest couple in town to the dance floor to have their first dance as a married couple,” the M. C said and both of them appeared from the entrance with their hands entwined and a smile on their faces.
Everyone in the hall turned to them and cheered for them as they made their way to the middle of the hall where the dance floor is located.
They turned to face each other when they were on the dance floor. He puts his hands on her waist and drew her close to himself and she puts hers around his neck as they slowly moved their body to ‘Perfect by Ed Sheeran’
They were staring into each other’s eyes as the music played. She had a lot of things to say at that moment. Lots of questions to ask. But can she really ask? Does she have the right to ask them? There were harmless questions, right?
It’s not like they aren’t a couple, they are married and she could still ask him these questions, right? He wouldn’t look at her in the same cold way he did earlier in the elevator.
“What happened at the elevator that made your mood go sour? Was it the person you kept muttering about in the elevator that did such?” she asked, still looking into his eyes.
She gave her a sarcastic smile and jerked her body to his so they were pressed against each other.
“Well sweetheart, ever heard of the exercise ‘Mind your business?’ well, you should be practicing such every time,” he said coldly and she pursed her lips in annoyance.
Feeling quite embarrassed and flushed she bowed her head and shook her head at her over caring attitude. Here she was so concerned about him because of how he had been on their way here.
It really isn’t any of her business. To avoid such from happening again she had to mind her business and not care if he is hurting or anything.

“Hey man” Caleb tapped Aiden’s shoulder and he looked back to meet his worried stricken friend’s gaze.
“I will call you honey, bye,” he said to the blond woman he was flirting with and pecked her cheeks.
“Wait you don’t have my number” she protested but he ignored her, grabbed a plate of small chops, and followed his friend to the bar.
“What’s up man, why do you look like this?” he asked, putting two samosas and gizzards in his mouth.
“Emily,” he said, running his fingers through his hair. “I can’t find her,” he said.
“She couldn’t get lost at a wedding now, could she? She might be probably meeting some new friends or be in the bathroom. It has become her friend these days” he shrugged and put more in his mouth.
“You might be right, I haven’t actually checked the bathrooms, thanks, man. I guess I was tipsy and got scared she was lost” Caleb chuckled and staggered his way towards the bathroom.
“Wait up, I am coming with you,” he said, dropping the plate on a table and following his friend.”
“Where are you guys going?” Sofia asked when they went past her to the bathroom.
“The ladies’ bathroom to find Emily” was Aiden’s reply.
