A chilling gasp echoed through the air as everyone involuntarily took a step back, none daring to make a move.
“Stout, destroy it!” Billy pointed at Veridiania’s city gates with a stern voice.
“Alright!” Stout loved doing destructive things like this.
With those words, he raised his hand and unleashed two powerful palm strikes.
Boom!
The towering gates crumbled, enveloped in a cloud of dust.
“You…” The battalion commander struggled to speak.
“Do you have a problem?” Fabian Mills glanced at him.
“…” The officer opened his mouth but couldn’t utter a single word.
“Let’s go!” Billy said, stepping forward and heading inside.
Less than fifteen minutes later, the four of them appeared at the Veridiania border military camp. The people there had clearly received the news. Hundreds of men stood at the entrance, tense and ready.
“Bring out your commander!” Casey looked at one of the subordinates and spoke calmly.
“You… You dare to be insolent! This is Veridiania’s military camp, not your Glavale…” The subordinate took a deep breath before responding.
“Our patience is limited. If you keep blabbering, you die!” Casey interrupted.
“You…” The subordinate furrowed his brow.
Before he could finish speaking, a gust of force turned him into a mist of blood. The hundred men retreated in fear.
Suddenly, hurried footsteps echoed, followed by an elderly man with white hair leading a group as they emerged from one of the buildings. The old man’s actual age was indiscernible, but he seemed to be at least a hundred years old.
“Greetings, Lord Gildon!” Upon seeing the old man, the hundreds of men simultaneously bowed in respect.
“Hmm?!” The man named Jenson Gildon walked forward and immediately recognized Billy, his pupils shrinking in coldness. He had received a call saying that yesterday’s Glavale person had returned, but what he hadn’t expected was that not only had that person returned, but even Commander Gardner had come.
His heart thumped heavily several times. Today’s matter was bound to be troublesome.
“I didn’t expect Commander Gardner to honor us with your presence. We apologize for not giving a proper welcome,” Jenson Gildon took a deep breath to steady himself and spoke to Billy.
“Who is this person? Do you know?” Billy glanced at him before turning to Casey and asking.
“Yes!” Casey nodded.
“He is Jenson Gildon, the number one public figure in Veridiania, the father of the current Veridiania Martial Department’s Elder and the previous Elder!”
As the Glavale’s Eastern Front Commander, Casey had some knowledge of the key powerhouses in the major countries along the Eastern Front.
“Oh?” Billy’s eyes narrowed slightly.
He hadn’t expected Veridiania to send their top-ranked public figure to guard the border.
“You really don’t know why I’m here in Veridiania?” Billy looked at him and spoke calmly.
“Please, Commander Gardner, enlighten me!” Jenson Gildon responded. There was no way he didn’t know the purpose of Billy’s visit to Veridiania.
Yesterday’s incident and its final result, although it resulted in the deaths and injuries of tens of thousands from Veridiania, Northfortia, and Xidengia, he knew that Glavale wouldn’t let this matter slide so easily. That was the reason he appeared at the military camp today.
“You genuinely don’t know?” Billy sneered. “If you don’t know, then I’ll go ask your sovereign!”
With that, he turned and walked towards the nearby airstrip.
“Commander Gardner!” Jenson Gildon hurriedly called out, “Commander Gardner, please wait! We can discuss this!”
As he spoke, he quickly approached Billy.
“You’re not qualified!” Billy continued walking without turning his head.
“Stop them!” At this moment, two to three thousand Veridiania soldiers rushed out from several buildings, surrounding Billy and his group.
However, each person’s eyes were filled with fear, and many trembled slightly. They knew exactly who they were facing, and if it came to a fight, they wouldn’t stand a chance.
“Commander Gardner, it’s our duty. Please understand!” Jenson Gildon approached them.
“Boss, should we kill them?” Stout glanced around at the crowd before asking.
“Kill them first!” Billy replied nonchalantly. As he spoke, he turned his head to glance at the position of a building on the left, a slight smirk forming at the corner of his mouth.
“Alright!” Stout replied loudly and raised his hand, rushing towards the side.
Casey and Fabian Mills didn’t waste any time either. Even before Billy’s words fell, they had already sent out several powerful strikes, and within moments, dozens of people had fallen.
“Damn it!” Jenson Gildon never expected that Billy would actually give the order to attack. Without much thought, he shouted in gratitude, “Retreat, everyone retreat!”
Upon hearing his words, the thousand men scattered in all directions without any hesitation.
“Do you think you can escape?” Stout shouted and chased after them, quickly sending seven or eight men flying into the air.
“You’ve gone too far! Give your lives!” Just then, an angry voice rang out from the building on the left.
As the voice resounded, two figures shot out at lightning speed. One of them rushed towards Stout, while the other headed straight for Casey.
“You dare to show yourselves?” Billy chuckled lightly upon seeing the two. When he first appeared at the base, he had used his mental power to investigate the entire military camp. He immediately knew that there were two martial experts at the Sovereign Realm hiding in that building. That was also the reason why he gave the order to attack, to force them to reveal themselves. His purpose in coming to Veridiania was clear – to strike fear into Veridiania and make them regret their actions. This was the task given to him by the emperor of Glavale. Therefore, his primary target was the martial experts of Veridiania. When he encountered them, he would kill them without hesitation, without showing any mercy.
“Two old fools!” Fabian Mills’ voice echoed at the same time.
Like Billy, he had sensed the aura of the two opponents long ago and had been on guard against any sudden attacks. As he spoke, he dashed towards Stout’s direction, raising his hand to strike out several powerful gusts of wind.
“Hmm?” The elderly man rushing towards Stout’s direction narrowed his eyes slightly. He gave up on Stout and raised his hand to face Fabian Mills’ attack.
Bang!
However, he clearly underestimated Fabian Mills’ strength. After just two or three exchanges, he was sent flying, somersaulting in the air before spitting out a mouthful of blood upon landing on the ground.
What left him despairing was that before he could even recover his senses, Fabian Mills had already arrived before him, and a wave of energy swept over him.
“… ” The old man’s pupils contracted in panic, his face filled with horror. He opened his mouth, seemingly about to beg for mercy, but the wave of energy crashed into his chest.
Crack! Crack!
After the sound of bones breaking, the old man slid back dozens of meters, a large indentation forming in his chest. A large amount of blood gushed out from his mouth, and his legs kicked weakly as he gasped for breath.
With a casual glance at the man, Fabian Mills flashed towards Casey’s direction.
