Noel’s POV
“We’re taking a plane?”
“Yup, do you want to walk there?”
“No, just I didn’t think we’ll need a plane to go to Virginia.” I said plopping down on my bed and crossing my legs.
“The fancier the better.” Aaron replied throwing clothes out of my wardrobe.
“I don’t think my mum and I have the fee for a plane ride. Let’s just go road trip, its fancy too.” I said before laughing as Jesse showed me his score in the subway surf he was playing. “37, 000? pathetic, let me screw you over.”
“You don’t have to pay, the rides on me.” Aaron popping his head out of my wardrobe.
“You have the money to pay for both our rides? I can’t afford even third class. I still vote road trip.” I said my eyes trained on Surfer Frizzy as she jumped trains and stayed ahead of the fatty man. Well She is me.
“AL can afford our whole class plane ride on first class. Don’t sweat it.” Jesse answered.
“Really your parents won’t mind?” I asked looking up at Aaron for a second.
“They won’t but I’m not paying for anything. We’re going on my dad’s plane. How many clothes do you need for a two day trip?”
“I say just one pair of sweats and a clean shirt but you know girls-” Jesse said dodging swiftly before I smacked him on the head.
“Aaron leave I’ll pack my things by myself. Private plane sweet.”
“Don’t worry love, as long as you’re with me your life would be sweet.” Aaron said sorting out clothes. I looked up at him cringing at what he just said. “What? Too cheesy?”
Jesse shook his head, “Sugar daddy talk. Beware. ” I burst out laughing. Aaron threw a converse at Jesse.
“Hey don’t joke with my precious converse.”
“Hey no pausing the game to laugh.”
“Who are you taking to the winter fest. I can’t believe I’m missing a party that I helped organize.” I complained tossing the phone to Jesse.
“What the, 1069432? Seriously?” Jesse asked his jaw dropping.
“Yep and I wasn’t even playing with my whole heart. Pay up Donovan.” I bragged, Jesse grumbled and tossing me crumpled dollar notes. “I’m still taking them. Crumpled or not. Money is money.”
“I’m every lady man. I’m not taking anybody to the fest.” Jesse said replying my earlier question.
“I can already smell Christmas in the air.” I said sniffing the air outside my window.
“Nah, that’s the giant tree my mum bought yesterday.” Jesse said.
“We have one too. Christmas has started in my house.” Aaron replied.
“Aaron when we get back, help mum and I bye our own tree ok.” I ask sitting down next to him and putting my arms over his neck.
He smiled down at me, “how can I say no.” Then he kissed me.
“Ewww, where a booty call when you need one.”

.
My mum was so excited about my trip to Virginia, she wanted to come along but unfortunately she couldn’t. Her job needed her more and I’ll rather she don’t come else everything would just fly over the top. The fact that we were using the Altamira private plane put everything on hyper. Even I was excited.
I’ve gotten quite acquainted with the Altamira clan. Last time that I spent the night there turned out to be a good thing. I bonded with Bella in her pink and peach decorated room. Then she had to lie to her mum that she called me over so nobody knew about me spending the night in Aaron’s room, except Linda ofcourse who gave me a gift before I left. A pamphlet on teenage pregnancy and how to manage sex before marriage.
No words. No words can describe the mortification I felt when she handed the pamphlet to me and made me promise to read it. I did read it. I read ever last word but trust me, female condom is the last thing on my mind.
Anyway that day I was wrapped into babysitting adorable Mafe and I also bonded with Mrs Megan Altamira. She kept fawning over the fact that I was her son’s first girlfriend and she even invited me to family picnics and Christmas dinner. I was overwhelmed, but I enjoyed the attention. Really well.
Nadine said I was in the honeymoon phase of my relationship and things may not always be lovey dovey between me and Aaron. I know that’s true but I really don’t want anything to come between us. I rather we stay stuck in this time forever.
“Wow,” I exclaimed as Aaron helped me step into the plane, it was really huge with brown sleek leather chairs. The exterior was black and gold with a large A written on it. We were welcome by a lady who couldn’t keep her hands off my Aaron.
“You like it?” Aaron asked me as I took a seat near the window.
“I love it. I’ve flown first class before but I’ve never flown in a private plane before.” I take a seat and Aaron sits in front of me.
He grinned, “I’m about to say something cheesy.”
I rolled my eyes, “well aren’t you lord cheesiness.”
“With this plane I’ll take you to Paris,”
“Uh huh,”
“Mexico,”
“Uh huh,”
“And all parts of the works you want to see.”
I burst out laughing, “that’s if I stick around.”
He frowned slightly, “you have to stick around, there no other place you’ll rather be.”
I looked around before nodding, “true.”
Remember how I said I loved traveling alone well that has changed now. I loved travelling with Aaron, I don’t think I can ever travel alone again without thinking about Aaron. He made the little trip fun. We talked about a lot of things, played games together and even practiced the waltz dance that I was now at expert at.
When we reached Virginia, a car picked us up and drove us to a mansion definitely bigger than the Lockwood Mansion in my Fav TV show, Vampire dairies. Dani, Aaron’s grandmother was so happy to see us. At least now I didn’t feel shy or ashamed to talk to her because I was now really Aaron’s girlfriend no lies whatsoever.
The sad thing was Aaron and I were separated. Dani left me in the custody of a girl named Riley while she took Aaron with her.
“Are you really Dani’s grandson’s girlfriend?” Riley asked as I calmly followed her looking behind me to catch a glimpse of Aaron but he was long gone.
“Yes I am.”
“Wow, I didn’t expect that.” She said looking at me from head to toe.
I frowned, “why, what’s wrong?”
“Nothing, I just thought her grandson girlfriend was going to be a princess or something. You know they’re really fancy.” She said.
I am a princess. But I didn’t voice my thoughts. Every girl is a princess in her own way. And is she insulting me or something?
“Well at least you’re really pretty.” She said smiling at me. I smiled back though it didn’t reach my eyes at all.
She lead me into a room and there were other girls too in there. Some smiled and waved at me while others scowled and eyed me. I wish their lashes all fall off. I don’t get why people decide to be mean for no reason.
“Dani prepared a gown for her precious grandson’s girlfriend, three actually you’re to chose one.” Riley said as she opened up a little closet for me. I loved in and my jaw almost hit the ground. There were three perfect ball gowns, blue, black and red. And they were all my sizes. I settled for the blue one. Red stand out and black might just blend in.
Then she led me to a chair in front of a mirror, it had curtains beside it and looked like a booth. Someone came in and attended to my hair and face. I asked for the makeup to be light and it was. My hair was put up in a bun with fine curled locks falling off. I loved so pretty. Then I was helped into my gown and shoes. I was also given white long gloves that stopped at my elbow. I looked sophisticated like a lady from London in 19 whatever.
I brought out a phone and took a selfie of myself. I also ashed Riley to take a few pictures because I know my mum would love to see them. After all the dressing and all we were lead one by one out of the room and back inside the mansion. The whole place was packed with people in beautiful ball dresses and suits. I started craning my neck searching for one person.
It didn’t take long to find him. He was talking to an old man and was continuously tugging at his tie. He was dressed in a fitted black suit that looked extremely good on him. Aaron looked hot. Like Ryan goslings, Ian Somerhalder and Colton Hayes hot. Really hot. He started looking around and soon our eyes met. He said a few words to the old man, nodded then started heading towards.
God, its not even my wedding yet I feel so nervous, anxious and excited all at once. The walk seemed extremely long yet really fast and before I knew it Aaron was standing in front of me.
“Hey beautiful,” he breathed out leaning down to me.
“Hey handsome.” I said back looking up at him.
“I thought you would never make it here.”
“I thought you’d come get me. You know like the perfect gentleman.”
“I would’ve but I’m roped into big old people talk. I feel like I’m going to suffocate anytime soon.” He complained.
“Aww my poor Darling.” I say touching his cheeks.
“What did you call me?” He asked smirking.
“Um Dumb face?”
“Nope something else.”
“Doll face?” He raised his brow at me. I stifle down my laugh. “Cholera face?”
“Oh come on.” Aaron whined and I couldn’t help but giggle.
“I’m sorry I don’t remember.” I said in mock innocence.
“Well I remember,” Aaron says before leaning down and whispering to my ear. “You said Darling, you called me Darling.”
I ignored the shiver his voice and breath sent down my bones and looked up at him. “Really? I think you’re mistaken, I definitely said Dumb face.”
Aaron was about to reply me when Dani came along and pulled me to her then we walked away to go meet some Latino grandmas. Stressful. After all the introduction and talking and walking was done. I was left alone once more. I started looking for Aaron and I found him in the presence of girls around my age. He was laughing and talking with them oblivious of their obvious flirting. I gasped, that bicep touch was so not subtle.
“Hi,” I said coming over to join them. Okay I’m nota clingy girlfriend but I don’t know anybody else at this ball. And I don’t plan on leaving my boyfriend to the hands of tanned barbies.
“Hey love,” Aaron smiled at me leaning down to kiss my cheek. He introduced me to his friends who faked friendly smiles at me. No worries, I was also sending out my best plastic smile.
“I believe I owe you a dance?” I said hearing the start of a song. Aaron smirked nodding to the girls then linking my hand with his and taking me to the dance floor.
“Jealous?” He asked smugly.
“Me? Hehe ofcourse not, just being territorial.” I answered smiling.
“Hm someone’s been paying attention to her biology. I like you Jealous.” He said. “Have I told you how beautiful you look tonight?”
“Have I told you how ravishing you look tonight?”
“Oh I know many ways in which you can ravish me.” He said, then we started laughing as I hid my face to hide my blush. What’s come over me this night?. Aaron tipped my chin up to look at him as the dance began.
I was held captive by Aaron’s beautiful blue eyes as my soul and body danced to Ed Sheeran’s Give Me Love.
(Dance demo)
When we switched, I couldn’t keep my eyes off Aaron and I kept stepping on the poor unfortunate boy’s toe. Aaron was also looking at me and not helping matters. When the boy saw that if we continue this way his toe would be amputated soon, we subtly switched back hoping that no one saw us.
In general I had a lot of fun at the ball dance and if possible, I think I fell in love more with Aaron.
