Kakumei’s face was as pale as paper, and his body trembled like a sieve, clearly having sustained serious injuries.

Kazuhiko’s mustache trembled with rage as he roared, “Jōji, kill them!”
Jōji’s figure flashed as he rushed towards Leo and Thomas.
“Leo, leave this guy to me. I’ll make him regret coming to Deepmere City!” Thomas’s eyes blazed with fighting spirit.
Leo leaped back, “The people of Orientia are too cunning, be careful yourself.”
Thomas pushed both hands forward, and after a terrifyingly loud noise, the night sky seemed to tear open, unleashing a torrent of water with overwhelming force.
The target was the approaching Jōji.
Jōji paused, then stabbed his katana into the ground and rapidly cast dozens of seals into it with his hands moving faster than the eye could see.
The katana on the ground flashed with a silvery light, turning into a mercury curtain wall that faced the onrushing waves.
In an instant, the towering waves crashed against the huge mercury curtain wall.
A strange crashing sound rang out, and amid a gust of wind, mercury mixed with water droplets fell like beansized raindrops.
Mercury, being highly toxic, was hazardous to anyone it touched.
Leo quickly moved out of the range of the “mercury rain”.
Thomas remained unmoved, with a green light shield shaped like an umbrella appearing above his head, completely isolating the mercury rain.
As for Jōji, the mercury rain split into two above his head, avoiding him completely.

Countless points of silver light in the sky formed a massive katana formation, pressing down towards Thomas on the ground.
