However, Leo didn’t intend to engage in small talk with Abel as they met. He asked directly, “Abel, do you have the werewolf list?”
“I came here in person, so naturally, I brought it, along with the reward for killing the Black Poison King,” Abel replied, signaling Iron Tower with his eyes.
Understanding his signal, Iron Tower handed Leo a delicate wooden box and a set of documents.
Leo first opened the wooden box, revealing two stalks of Starlight Grass inside. Starlight Grass takes at least thirty years to grow and can be used to refine pills that enhance physical strength and intensity.
“Leo, I’ve been quite good to you, haven’t I?” Abel smiled.
Leo closed the box and smiled in return, “You’ve come at the right time. We have Purple Thunder Spirit Crocodile cuisine today. Let’s have lunch together.”
After leading Jennifer and the others into the reception hall, Leo began examining the documents in detail.
The documents were printed in color and contained specific information about the werewolves, including their photos.
After reading the documents, Leo’s brow furrowed. “There are only twenty people. Isn’t that too few?”
Abel’s old face looked somewhat embarrassed, and he chuckled, “Leo, there are indeed more than twenty werewolves within Atraria’s borders. However, WONDER can only track these twenty individuals. Werewolves are very skilled at hiding themselves, and it’s difficult to expose them under normal circumstances.”
Abel cleared his throat and added, “Besides, some of the werewolves have special identities, and you can’t kill them indiscriminately.”
Leo was dissatisfied with Abel’s answer. “Abel, the werewolves have killed disciples of my Seven Stars Sword Sect and even attempted to kill me. If I don’t wipe them all out, I won’t be able to ease the hatred in my heart!”
“I understand your feelings, but the Modock family has significant influence both internationally and domestically, and they have many investments in the country, so…” Abel was interrupted by Leo.
“Abel, I know what you’re concerned about. I declare here that I will bear all the consequences! Since you’re only willing to give me these twenty werewolves, I’ll start with them and use them as a lead to expose all the others!”
Seeing Leo’s resolute attitude, Abel could only smile helplessly.
Giving Leo these twenty werewolf names was already his limit.
The twenty individuals on the list had all engaged in illegal activities within the country, so their deaths would not be a concern.
As for the names of other werewolves, it was a matter of great importance that couldn’t be entrusted to Leo.
After finishing lunch and seeing off Abel and the others, Leo gathered Theodore and the rest of the group in the conference room of the Seven Stars Sword Sect.
Leo handed a small black jade bottle to both Theodore and Serene Dark, saying, “Take this with you.”
“What is this?” Theodore asked curiously as he took the black bottle.
Leo explained, “It contains a pill called the Lost Soul Pill. When you kill a werewolf, while they are still on the verge of death, put the Lost Soul Pill into their mouth.”
“Then, whatever you ask them, they will answer. You need to extract information about their werewolf accomplices in Atraria from their mouths.”
Leo’s explanation surprised Serene Dark and the others.
After a moment of contemplation, Serene Dark said, “Mr. Bloomer, are you planning to expose all the werewolves of the Modock family through this list?”
“That’s right. Since the werewolves dared to attack me and Seven Stars Sword Sect, I will make them disappear completely!” Leo’s eyes turned cold, filled with killing intent.
Leo’s killing intent infected Serene Dark and the others, and they all nodded solemnly.
As Atraria Martial Cultivators, they naturally held no goodwill towards foreign werewolves.
Leo continued, “Let’s arrange the tasks. Start with the surrounding cities. Serene Dark and Ocean Source will go to Horora, targeting the werewolves numbered 1 to 5 on the list. Theodore and Cold River will go to Riverdale, targeting werewolves numbered 6 to 10 on the list. Skyfire will stay at the Seven Stars Sword Sect. As for the remaining ten werewolves, I will handle them. We will act precisely at 7 p. m. this evening!”
For this operation, Leo utilized the Thunder Wing Beast, which was now capable of flight. Serene Dark, Ocean Source, Theodore, and Cold River used Golden Eagles as their means of transportation.
At exactly 7 p. m., two Golden Eagles and a Thunder Wing Beast took off from the ground and swiftly disappeared into the twilight.
Leo’s first target was Imperial College.
The target individual was an exchange student.
By the time the Thunder Wing Beast flew over Imperial College, it was already dark. Taking advantage of the night, Leo jumped directly down.
Imperial College was a key national university with a building dedicated to research on new aerospace and military nanomaterials.
A breakthrough had been made in this new nanomaterial a week ago.
Leo released his Divine Awareness and waited in a corner of the building. Soon, he saw a blond-haired young man jump out of a dark window on the building.
He effortlessly descended from a height of over ten meters.
Just as the young man was about to return to his dormitory through a forest path on campus, a figure suddenly appeared about five meters in front of him.
A hint of alertness flashed in the young man’s eyes. But when he saw that the person who had suddenly appeared was a young man of similar age, he deliberately put on a relaxed smile and said, “Hey, buddy, your sudden appearance startled me.”
Although the young man’s tone was relaxed, the underlying caution in his eyes remained.
Leo coldly stared at him and asked, “You’re a werewolf, aren’t you?”
“Werewolf? What are you talking about? I don’t understand,” the young man feigned a confused expression, but the caution in his eyes grew stronger.
At the same time, he discreetly scanned the surroundings and breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that only Leo was present.
Leo couldn’t be bothered with idle talk. A purple light flashed, piercing through the young man’s chest.
The young man’s eyes widened in disbelief, his expression stiffening, and then he fell backward.
Leo swiftly approached and inserted a Lost Soul Pill into the young man’s mouth.
The pill dissolved upon contact, temporarily sustaining the young man’s vitality.
“Tell me, your identity and your purpose in coming to Imperial College,” Leo asked.
The young man’s eyes grew dull, his expression frozen, like a puppet on strings, and he replied, “I am a werewolf. My name is Charles, from the Modock family.”
“As an exchange student, I came to Imperial College to obtain research data on the new nanocomposite material.”
“Who is your superior?” Leo asked again.
“It’s Lord Dominica.”
“Where is Dominica?” Leo raised an eyebrow. Dominica’s name was not on the list given by Abel.
“He is at the Lavender Garden Restaurant. Lord Dominica is the owner of the restaurant,” the werewolf youth replied.
“Tell me about the other werewolves in Langstel.”
“I don’t know about the other werewolves. I only had direct contact with Lord Dominica.”
Leo stood up from the ground, severing the remaining traces of the werewolf’s life force.
