Chapter 1053 Resuscitation

Noel tightly clenched his fists, his face heavy with contemplation. It was evident that he was engaged in a final internal struggle.
Ronald was right. If this attempt failed and created a public outcry, the consequences would be as devastating as an earthquake or a tsunami. Perhaps his decades of hard work and career advancement would be completely destroyed in an instant.
“Mr. Fox!” Leo became anxious when he saw Noel hesitating.
Within ten minutes, Leo was confident he could revive Giovanny. After ten minutes, even a powerful heavenly immortal would be unable to do so.
Noel looked at Leo and his furrowed brows relaxed instantly. The gravity on his face transformed into composure, and he straightened his chest. He spoke loudly, “I have already doubted Dr. Bloomer once, and I will not doubt him a second time!”
“Remember this: I, Noel, am responsible for letting Dr. Bloomer treat him. It is my decision alone and has nothing to do with Dr. Bloomer or other municipal personnel. If we fail, I alone will bear all the consequences!”
Noel’s words were forceful and unwavering, filled with righteous conviction. In that moment, his figure seemed immensely grand.
The group of doctors, who were previously full of momentum, fell silent after hearing Noel’s words.
“Dr. Bloomer, go ahead. Don’t feel pressured. I will shoulder everything, regardless of success or failure. I will forever remember your kindness.”
Noel looked at Leo, his voice not loud but steady.
Leo nodded and reached for the handle of the emergency room door.
“I won’t let you in!” Ally held onto the door handle, blocking it with her body.
“Smack!”
Leo slapped her with the back of his hand.
Before Ally could react, her body was already flying through the air, crashing heavily onto the ground, leaving her dizzy and disoriented.
“Oh my God, he hit me! Has the law no longer any power…?” Ally wailed like a shrew.
The onlookers glanced at her indifferently, devoid of any sympathy or pity.
They were not fools and had already figured out that there was something fishy about this woman who was so desperate to prevent Leo from saving her husband.
After Leo rushed into the emergency room, he used his divine sense to see Giovanny’s soul floating above his body.
Giovanny’s soul was struggling to merge with his physical body, but it had no effect. It was as if an invisible barrier was separating the soul from the body.
Leo locked the door and approached Giovanny’s body. He checked his pulse.
The body, gradually growing cold, indeed had no pulse.
“Dr. Bloomer, I’m not dead yet. Save me!” Giovanny’s soul kept calling out to Leo.
“Stop shouting, I know,” Leo replied somewhat impatiently, his tone indifferent.
Giovanny’s soul trembled suddenly, astonished. “Dr. Bloomer, can you hear me?”
“Of course, if you want to come back to life, you’ll have to listen to everything I say,” Leo nodded.
“Alright, I’ll do whatever you tell me,” Giovanny hurriedly agreed.
Giovanny’s soul began to fade. Once it completely disappeared, it would mean his soul had entered the underworld, signifying his complete death on the spiritual level.
“Lie down on your physical body!” Leo commanded.
With anticipation, Giovanny’s soul followed Leo’s instructions.
Leo took out a vial of medicine he had brought from the medical clinic and sprinkled the secret powder on the wound on Giovanny’s neck. Then, he gripped his neck with his left hand.
The spiritual power within Leo circulated, flowing from his arm and surging towards Giovanny’s neck…
As time ticked away, the people waiting outside the emergency room couldn’t help but grow anxious. “It’s been so long. Could something have gone wrong?”
“Just you wait! I’ve already contacted a lawyer. I will sue all of you for killing my husband!” Ally, with one side of her face swollen, dialed a phone while angrily pointing at Noel and the others.
Just as Ally finished her call, the door of the emergency room opened from the inside.
“Dr. Bloomer is coming out!” The crowd couldn’t help but feel a surge of hope.
Leo walked out, his face slightly pale.
“Dr. Bloomer!” Noel exclaimed urgently.
“Mr. Fox, you all can go in and take a look,” Leo waved his hand towards the emergency room and said.
Everyone had been eager, so they rushed in at his words.
“Oh my god! The heartbeat has returned!” One doctor saw steady waves on the electrocardiogram and exclaimed in surprise.
The crowd buzzed with excitement and gathered around the hospital bed.
Giovanny, who had previously been lifeless, had regained his breath, and his complexion gradually turned rosy.
The wound on his neck was now tightly wrapped in thick bandages.
Even more astonishingly, Giovanny had already awakened at this moment!
Although he was somewhat weak, his eyes kept moving, bright and conscious, showing clear awareness.
“Resuscitation, this is the legendary resuscitation!”
“He’s not just a doctor, he’s practically a deity!”
“It’s unbelievable! I’ve never heard of anything like this in my entire life!”
The doctors and officials watching were amazed and filled with shock in their voices.
In their hearts, Leo was no longer describable as a mere mortal.
“That’s wonderful!” Noel tightly clenched his fists. Tears welled up in his eyes, and his face displayed a mixture of excitement and relief, a complex array of emotions.
Who could understand the pressure he had endured in this short hour?
If Leo had failed, it would have been minor to ruin his own future, but it would have been a major blow to Langstel’s prospects!
“Honey!” Ally rushed in without caring about anything else. She knelt beside the hospital bed and threw herself onto Giovanny, sobbing uncontrollably.
“Honey, I thought I would never see you again in this lifetime… Do you know how scared I was just now… I wanted to trade my own life for yours…”
Ally’s tears and snot flowed freely, her words filled with genuine emotion. If she had pursued a career in the entertainment industry, she might have become a big star.
Giovanny glanced at her and slowly raised his hand, gesturing for his assistant.
The assistant quickly approached him and leaned in to listen.
Giovanny could speak now, but his voice was weak, and his pronunciation was somewhat unclear.
After explaining for a while, the assistant finally understood his meaning, nodded, and quickly turned to leave.
Giovanny gestured to Noel, motioning for him to extend his hand.
Noel was taken aback, but then he reached out his hand.
Giovanny grabbed Noel’s hand tightly, trembling incessantly, and tears filled his eyes as he looked at Noel.
Earlier, when Giovanny’s soul was on the verge of departing, he possessed a miraculous ability to hear even the slightest sounds. So he heard everything that happened outside the emergency room.
If it weren’t for Noel, who endured tremendous pressure and went against the majority to let Leo treat him, he wouldn’t have survived. Therefore, he felt grateful to Noel.
