Chapter 1044 The Extremely Heavy Sword

Leo put away the Divine Dragon Sword and immediately locked his gaze onto another direction – a sword that, although not as spiritually strong as the Divine Dragon Sword, was still quite powerful.
Leo turned around and walked towards the left side, with Theodore and others following closely behind.
Soon enough, Leo stopped in front of a stone platform. On top of it lay a cold blue longsword emitting an icy blue light. The sword’s aura was so chilly that it seemed to radiate an air of coldness.
Theodore, Serene Dark, and others looked at Leo in surprise.
It was Leo’s first time visiting the underground Sword Pavilion yet he had managed to locate both the Divine Dragon Sword and this Azure Frost Sword without any difficulty. This made Theodore curious about how Leo had found them so easily.
Leo reached out his hand directly to pick up the blue longsword which glimmered with a frigid light on its blade edge; it was extremely sharp.
“Mr. Bloomer, you have excellent eyesight; I must commend you,” said Serene Dark. “In all of Iron Sword Sect’s underground Sword Pavilion, there are only several high-grade treasure swords but you have managed to find two of them – moreover they are also considered as two best ones.”
“This sword in your hand is called Azure Frost because its aura is as chilly as frosty snowflakes,” explained Serene Dark after which Leo nodded before infusing Spiritual Power into it.
The Azure Frost Sword trembled, and the sword’s radiance flowed, bursting out with a touch of cold and icy light.
In the entire underground Sword Pavilion, it seemed as if winter had instantly arrived, and the temperature dropped slightly.
“This Azure Frost Sword is also a spiritual weapon, of intermediate grade, on par with the Iron Sword in Serene Dark’s hands,” Leo thought to himself.
Unexpectedly, there were two spiritual weapons in the Iron Sword Sect’s Sword Pavilion. It was worth noting that spiritual weapons were extremely rare and were generally passed down from ancient cultivators of great power.
This Azure Frost sword was perfect for Jennifer.
Leo cleared his throat and looked at Theodore and Serene Dark, asking, “Can I have this Azure Frost Sword?”
Leo’s words made Serene Dark and the others exchange puzzled glances because it was rare for someone to use two different swords at once.
Seeing the confusion on Serene Dark and the others’ faces, Leo explained, “I want to give this Azure Frost Sword to someone.”
A tinge of reluctance flashed in Theodore’s eyes, but he quickly said resolutely, “Mr. Bloomer, the Iron Sword Sect now belongs to you, and the swords in the Sword Pavilion are also yours. Even if you want to take all the swords here, we have no objections.”
“Well then, I’ll take this sword,” Leo replied naturally, not one to stand on ceremony with Theodore.
After storing the Azure Frost Sword in the Void Storage Talisman, Leo released his divine sense and scanned the entire underground Sword Pavilion, confirming that there were no other spiritual weapons. He then said to Theodore and the others, “I’ve obtained the swords, let’s go.”
Just as Leo was about to reach the entrance of the Sword Pavilion, his heart suddenly skipped a beat.
It was an instinctive and inexplicable reaction, causing Leo to quickly turn his gaze to the left.
In the farthest corner on the left, there was a solitary stone platform.
In the entire underground Sword Pavilion, only that solitary stone platform had no sword rack and instead held a large and heavy sword placed casually.
“That sword is peculiar!” A look of astonishment appeared in Leo’s eyes because he discovered that the heavy sword could actually evade his divine sense.
With curiosity and doubt, Leo walked directly towards the corner where the stone platform was.
The blade of the large sword on the stone platform was exceptionally wide, three to four times the width of an ordinary sword, and it had never been sharpened.
The blade had a deep blue color, as if it had been forged from some strange metal.
There was a thick layer of dust on the blade, and compared to other well-maintained swords, this large sword seemed completely neglected.
Leo’s divine sense spread out again, scanning the large sword, but it still didn’t appear within the perception of his divine sense.
It could actually evade divine sense!
Surprise appeared on Leo’s face.
Up until now, besides this large sword, Leo had never encountered anything that could evade his divine sense.
Leo reached out and grabbed the hilt of the sword, intending to lift it.
The large sword remained motionless.
Leo refused to believe it and exerted more force, but the large sword still didn’t budge.
Leo couldn’t lift the sword in one go, and as expected by Theodore, he couldn’t help but say, “Mr. Bloomer, I don’t know what metal this large sword is made of, but it’s incredibly heavy, weighing about five tons! I also don’t know who forged this sword.”
“Five tons?” Leo was truly astonished.
Mobilizing his Spiritual Power, gathering it in his right hand, Leo exerted force once again.
Finally, he managed to lift the large sword.
After the sword left the stone platform, a shallow sword-shaped groove appeared on it.
It could be seen how heavy this sword was, as it left a dent in the solid stone platform.
Leo locked his gaze onto the blade, examining it carefully.
The blade of the large sword emitted a deep blue glow, profound and mysterious.
What material could it be forged from to be so ridiculously heavy?
Furthermore, the fact that this large sword could shield itself from his divine sense, could it be imbued with some kind of restriction?
Puzzled, Leo infused his Spiritual Power into the large sword.
To his disappointment, the sword remained unchanged.
Although he didn’t know the peculiarities of this large sword, judging from its abnormal weight and its ability to shield divine sense, it was likely not an ordinary object.
“I’ll take this large sword as well,” Leo said to Theodore.
Leo planned to take it with him for now and study it slowly later. If necessary, he could also seek assistance from WONDER for research.
“No problem,” Theodore replied.
He didn’t pay any attention to the large sword at all. After all, apart from the Supreme Elder, no one else could wield such a heavy sword. It simply had no practical use.
Leo stored the large sword in the Void Storage Talisman.
When they reached the metal gate of the Sword Pavilion, Leo took out a small white bottle from his body and handed it to Theodore, saying, “Inside this bottle are Vitality Pills, a total of thirty. You should take ten each day and go into seclusion for three days. After three days, your cultivation will surely break through to the next stage, the Warrior Sect Realm.”
“As for Ocean Source, Cold River, and Skyfire, I will start refining another kind of pill after I return. Once the pills are completed, you can come to Langstel to retrieve them. As long as you continuously take them and practice for a month, you will surely break through to the next stage.”
Theodore quickly reached out and received the small white bottle, holding it like a treasure. He gratefully said, “Thank you, Mr. Bloomer!”
“Let’s go, accompany me to the Pater family. After setting up a Gathering Spirit Formation for them, I will return to Langstel,” Leo said.
“Yes, Mr. Bloomer!” Theodore and the others replied in unison.
Hellfire, realizing he had no share in the breakthrough, wore a disappointed expression.
Just as Theodore was about to close the metal gate, Cold River cleared his throat and said, “Mr. Bloomer, Sect Master, should we bring a treasured sword for Mr. Pater when we go to the Pater family?”
The Iron Sword Sect had previously made a move to seize the Pater family’s mine and even injured Jason.
Now that the grudges were settled, it would be inappropriate to visit the Pater family empty-handed.
