Sora called me and tell me about Jason’s movements while he’s here in this country. I look on the photo of him and Tyra while eating in a fancy restaurant. I put down and face him.
“So it means he is here for Tyra and for Andrews?”
“Yes. He is one of the tech engineers who are known for making viruses and good hackers. D. L Capital and Andrews Group had been in feud for several years. There is a great chance that Tyra and Jason are scheming something towards your family’s business.”-he said. I sigh and nod.
“Thank you Sora. I will talk to my husband regarding this matter.”
“I also need to tell you something. I’m sorry if I speak to your husband regarding this matter. Don’t worry about Jason’s and Tyra’s connection to his past. I told him that my elder brother can help him to strengthen your companies softwares to make sure that Tyra or that Jason won’t harm your business.”-he said.
“Okay. Don’t worry about it. Thanks Sora. Please keep on track on him while he’s still here in the country.”-I said. He nodded.
“No problem.”-he said. I bow down and leave his agency after. Today is my husband’s flight abroad for dad’s assignment to him. Tomorrow, I will start to know the problem on the warehouse factory that dad assigned to me as well.
“Take care on your flight, okay? Buy us something before going back. To me, food will do.”
“Yes, love. I will surely bring you food that you will love. Take care while I’m away okay? I’ll see you this Friday night.”
“Uhm. I love you. I’ll see you soon.”
“I love you more.”-he said. He grab my waist and give me a passionate kiss. When he heard his plane number. He let go of me.
“Bye-bye.”
We wave on each other and when I lost my sight on him, I went back on the parking lot and drive the car away to the airport.
“Good morning, I’m Amy Cruz. A new staff here.”
“Then what are you standing for? Go to work, my goodness!”-she said to me and give me a death glare. She is the supervisor of this place.
“Yes ma’am.”-I said. I went to the others that are busy in putting each items on their respective boxes. I feel like the problem here is that woman and the work atmosphere of this place.
“She will surely hit us again if we made a mistake. Newbie, make sure that you won’t mixed them up okay? She will slap you and you might lose a penny from your salary.”-she mumbled to me. Huh?
“Stop talking with your workmates and do your jobs you snails!”-she shouted. What a talker. I tried to learn everything until break came. I stood up and stop from working.
“Let’s all take a break.”-I said. They pulled me back and look around.
“What are you talking about? You can only have lunch here and that is only 10 minutes. If you take a break she will surely pour your drinks and step on your food. Go back to work.”-the other one said.
“When did this happen here? You should’ve tell her your rights as a workers.”-I said.
“Yes, we do. We even made a rally to knock the heads but a week had passed and nothing happens. We are being tortured to work because of what we did and we even lost half of our salary as a punishment.”-the other one. What? I reviewed the papers here and–I think I know now the problem. Lunch had came and my body is aching already. I can’t believe that the workers here are working like a machines. They don’t even give them enough time to rest and no break time.
“Ms. Joan, are you sure that the higher ups won’t deal with the rally incident that these bastards do?”
‘Its been a week and I already send a report and I said that I already speak to them. Now that those bastards see what I can do, they’ll surely stop acting again.”-she said. She didn’t realize that I can hear her. Good thing that I have record them on my phone. I slowly went back to work and a day had passed. I will finish this tomorrow.
“How’s your observation in that place?”-dad ask. I told them what I observe while we are eating for dinner. I already had plans on how I’ll deal with it.
“Are you dumb?!”-she said. I acted up and drop this item. She pointed her finger on me and even slap me.
“How stupid you are! Did you know how much is this? Are that stupid?!”-she said.
“I’m hungry, you didn’t give us break. How did that happen? What kind of workplace is this?”
“Are you questioning me?! Then go to the head office and tell them why they have this kind of rules. I’m not those Andrews who only wanted to be rich.”
“What did you just say?! How dare you blaming others with your greediness and inhumanity.”-I said and slap her. Her face looks furious and give me a death glare.
“Your just a newbie, you’re dead. Hold her!”
I took the wood and held it. I hit her minions feet and they’re shouting in pain.
“Everyone, let me tell you who I am. I am Mrs. Amellie Andrews, the wife of Ethan Andrews. I am here to see the reason why you rallied. Now, to you. You will surely have a taste of your won medicine.”-I said. I slap her several times and the men that I told to came, entered.
“Arrest them, we will have an inquest and investigation about their corruption.”-I said. I speak to the workers and promise them to compensate for the things that their supervisor do.

I called her and she’s finishing her manga chapter for this week. I just watch her while taking a break. The business that I came here will be finish tomorrow and the contract signing will be done.
“Love, do you want to take a break and let’s have honeymoon abroad?”-I ask. She look at me.
“We are both busy and graduation is coming in two weeks time. I don’t have any plan to roam around. Maybe we can go to Japan along with the newlyweds.”-she said. I nodded.
“Why not? Your just 12 when the last time we visit Japan. Okay, I’ll clear my work on that time then.”
“Me too. You should take a rest. I knew that your tired. Let’s see each other again tomorrow. Good night, love. I love you.”
“Good night. I love you.”-I said. I ended the video call and went to bed.
“What are your plans after this Mr. Andrews?”
“For now, I’ll take care of the other problems and my life as a husband. I wanted to have a little one as soon as possible.”-I said. He already signed the contract for his investment for the Andrews Foods.
“Oh I see. Happily married. Your indeed a sweet man because you wanted to have an heir or an heiress already.”-he said. I smiled.
“Well, my wife is very young and beautiful. We are ten years apart and I am afraid that she’ll meet a man in her age and forgets about me. That’s why I want to make sure.’-I said. He chuckled.
“What a naughty person you are. But you got a point. When a woman became a mother, she became selfless and she’ll love you more when she saw your efforts for her journey as a pregnant woman.”
“It is. That’s why I wanted to make sure that my wife will only look at me.”-I said.
“I’m sure she is because you’re a sweet man.”
“Thank you.”-I said. We finish our lunch and he left afterwards. I pack my things and check my wrist. My flight will be in half an hour. I check out and took a cab that will send me to the airport. It took 7 hour flight before the plane landed safely on the airport. I am walking on the lobby when a hand suddenly covers my eyes. I take it off and she is smiling while bending her body sideward.
“Tada! You’re gorgeous wife is here to fetch you up Mr. Andrews.”-she said. That made me laugh. I embrace her tightly.
“Oh man, I really miss you, silly.”-I mumbled. She giggled and pet my head.
‘I miss you too.”-she said.
“Let’s go. I’m tired and I wanted to eat also.”
“Okay. I cook your favorite.”-she said and took my suitcase and grab my hand. When we went home, I just eat and now were in bed to take a rest.
“That’s her job for the time that you went aboard. Your wife is doing a great job and she has a great potential in cleaning up and talking to people. Maybe because she has a string sympathy to anyone.”
‘Good thing that nothing worst happens to her.”
“Don’t worry, I send secretary Miller to watch her out and he saw the things that Amellie witnessed tin our warehouse. I will make sure that nothing happens like that again. Even to other warehouses and factories of our companies.”-dad.
“What about the construction of the building for your new project mom? How is it?”-I ask.
“It’s already had a skeletal form and in two weeks time, the half will be done.”-she said. I nodded.
“I see, that’s a great progress. I am already thinking on how we can made a livelihood program for the homeless families that we will put in that place. I am thinking of making a garden for them to take care. We can supply for restaurants like what aunt Helena and Luna’s restaurants.”
“Uhm, why not? As long as we can help them to work again then they can start over again.”
“That’s right, we need to let them work to have money for the things that they need to buy for themselves.”-dad added.
“Mom, dad, did you see my favorite jersey?”-Amellie came. She must be finding the jersey that Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan’s signature are both present. I speak and told her where I put it.
“I put them on a glass cabinet, at the corner of my precious signature jerseys.”-I said.
“Okay. Thanks love, sorry for interrupting.”-she said and went back to our room. She’s in the second floor and we’re in the living room.
“She had never changed. All the hobbies that she harbored from you are still in her taste.”-mom.
“It’s cute anyway. I still remember how she cries every time that she gets scratches when she tried to do my sports.”-I said.
“She didn’t want to have a gap between your relationship with her. She said that your the best brother she had and your the sweetest man next to your dad. So she tried her best to cope up with your lifestyle.”-mom. I smiled and drink my tea.
“She will always be my sister and the woman that I love. Nothing will change.”-I said. They both smile. They knew that I will keep on protecting her forever. I will bring laughter and smile in her.
“Love, did you saw my favorite necktie?”-I ask. She opens my necktie closet and took the one that I’m asking and she put them on me.
“Here you go. Remember that you need to drive and no alcohol even if it’s a wine, okay?”-she said. I have a dinner meeting today. I nodded.
“Yes, love. I promise.”-I said and caress her nose.
