At the sports club, we meet inside and Sora and Asami is here first.
“Peter and Luna must have caught the traffic jam.”-I said.
“We’ll change our outfit then.”-Asami. We nodded and wait for the last two people.
“Have you played basketball?”-I ask Sora. He nodded, I suddenly remember that what I read in manga and watch in high school themed anime’s are accurate about the student lives of Japanese.
“Yes, have you ever watch anime? Especially the high school genre? All of the things you can watch there are real in real life setting.”
“I see. That’s great. Let’s sweat things up.”
“Deal.”-he said. After few more minutes, they arrive. Peter is holding their gym bag.
“I’ll just change. Let’s get in.”-Luna.
“You must have drag Peter-kun with your slow movements.”-he said to his cousin.
“Just a bit.”-she said. They both laugh. When they come out, they’re wearing the school gym clothes of Japanese students. They even bun their hair up. We have change already.
“Let’s go. Let’s have a basketball match first and then volleyball match before we eat lunch.”
“Okay.”-they said. We entered the basketball court, it was already reserve in our time and I make sure that we don’t have to deal with other strangers.
“Three on three. Women versus men.”-Luna.
“Okay then.”-Peter said. We started to play. We guarded our women. But this what I can see, they can match to our speed and they knew how to play. She is about to shoot when I jump and be able to stop the ball. I pass the ball to Sora. He twist around and shoot the ball. It’s three points.
“Half time.”-Peter said. We went to our bench and drink some water.
“Your gaming skills never changed.”-I said. She smiled and I grab the towel and wipe off her sweat.
“We should do this from time to time. It’s our bonding with everyone.”
“Let’s do that.”-I said. She took her small electric fan. I decided to braid her hair. The others do the same. She lean her back on me.
“Make sure that I’ll look pretty on your braid.”
“Don’t worry, your always be pretty to me.”
“Tss. You two, your not the only couple here.”
“Shut up Peter.”-I said. They laugh.
“Let’s continue.”-I said. On the second half, we can see their eagerness to win. Their cunning actions and how they deal with our speed. I twist around and run towards the basket and make a jump shot. And that decided our win, that’s 2 leading points.
We are now playing volleyball. Luna is with me and Peter. Sora teams up with Asami and Amellie. The game started. I serve the ball first.
“On your side Luna.”-I said.
“Got it!”-she said and hit the ball. I smiled. We will win if we continued to have a streak.
“Loser on this game should pay lunch.”-Peter.
“No problem!”-Sora said. He suddenly change his pace and even the other. The ball will come after me, I hit it with all my strength.
“I’ll pay. It’s also my treat to everyone. My restaurant is a big hit in my area.”-Luna. We lose a single point after Peter miss the shot.
“Okay then! Let’s all filled our bellies!”-Asami said. We choose to eat a heavy meal. We will be playing baseball and tennis after this.
“Here’s your food.”-I said. The others also take off the shell the shrimps of their ladies.
“Thank you, love.”-she answered.
“Thanks darling.”-the two dueted. Even we took care of them, they do the same to us.
“What are your plans after getting married?”-I ask to the two boys.
“I will be starting my family and enjoy the days we have together until our first born came to us.”
“How about you Peter?”
“The same. But I won’t pressure Luna in getting pregnant. We will take our time.”
“The baby will come on its own anyway, you don’t have to worry about anything else anyway. Take this advice, no matter how busy the two of you are, have time to date twice a week. A movie dinner date outside and to the comfort of your home.”
“Wait, what did you say again?”-they both said and took their phone. I laugh. Even the ladies.
“Don’t tell me, you two will write this in your notes?”-I said. They nodded.
“Okay.”-I said and repeat myself.
I help her in stretching. I push her back a bit as she is trying to reach her feet.
“Thank you for this day, love.”
“Anything to make you happy.”-I said. She smiled.
“You should stretch out either.”-she said. I nodded and stretch out also. She suddenly get inside the circle that I made with my two hand. She stole a kiss and runaway. I chuckled.
“What a mischievous lady.”
And the game starts.
“First ball.”-I said. But when the second ball came, she made it flew. She runs as fast as she can.
“You can do it Asami!”-she shouted.
“Let’s go and win this.”-I said to Sora. He hits the first ball and run until the last base. Whoa. That was fast! Peter hits the ball but he stays on the third base. And in my turn, I made it until the last.
Amellie Cruz
They all breath together and raise their hand and tap each others palm. I smiled.
“Sora is indeed good in sports.”-I said.
“He is an athletic person way back in his high school days. He always excel in the P. E classes.”-Luna.
“I see.”-Asami nodded.
“You should go into sports now. Your husband and you can use that as a bonding.”
“He is still my fiancee.”
“But in just 6 weeks you will be his wife. There’s nothing wrong if you started calling him husband. Or change his name in your phone, like hubby? Oh wait, danna-sama.”-I said and flip my fingers.
“Ohh…why not.”-Luna.
“Danna-sama?”-we said. The three of us.
“Yes?”-they said. We laugh when they answered.
“We are not calling you guys.”-Asami.
“You said danna-sama.”-Peter.
“Is that so?”-Sora. We nodded.
“Okay. Let’s go to the tennis plaza.”
“Wait, I changed my mind. I want to play bowling.”-I said. The bowling alley caught my eyes when we are walking towards the tennis plaza.
“What do you think guys?”-Ethan.
“Uhm! Why not? I can play that.”-Luna.
“Okay then.”-I said.
“The winner on this game will treat everyone in a bar. Maybe we can visit Sir Edmond’s place.”-I said.
“Your not 21 yet missy.”-he said. I smiled.
“But no one notice that.”-I said. Their bouncer on that bar accepts my fake I. d.
“Let’s just drop by in my restaurant. I have soju and even sa-ke.”-Luna.
“Uhm, cool!”-Asami and I dueted.
We enjoyed throwing balls in the bowling pins. We all have a close in battle.
“This is the last one that will determines who will win.”-Sora. We all stood up together and count.
“One, two, three!”-we said. We released the balls in our hands. Ethan wins first, it always been the losers will pay something so we changed it. I laugh.
“You will pay a big one.”-I said. They laugh.
“Okay, okay. No problem. Let’s all take a break and freshen up before leaving the club.”-he said.
“Okay!”-we all said. We have used three rooms just to take a bath before leaving the sports club.
“I already put our things in the bag. It’s already 5 in the afternoon. Luna’s place will only be 30 minutes driving as long as we won’t caught in traffic jams.”-I said.
“I’ll carry this then. Let’s wait for them in the parking lot. When everyone is there, we get inside the cars and we will meet on that place for tonight’s dinner. My belly will have a feast again!

I already called my staff to close the restaurant early. When we get there, I already send them home and we will have fun tonight.
“Just tell me what you wanted, let me cook for everyone.”-she said.
“I want tempura, karaagi and takoyaki.”-Amellie.
“Me too. Well, anything will do. How about the others?”-Asami.
“We’re good in anything.”-they boys said.
“All right then, just give me 30 minutes, you guys can relax for the meantime.”-I said.
“We will help. We can do the cuttings and even the sink.”-Amellie.
“We’ll do the sink, you guys will take care of the food.”-Peter. I smiled.
“Okay then, let’s start.”-I said. After we prepared the dinner, we all started drinking.
“Uhm! Oishi! It’s so delicious.”-Amellie. I smiled.
“Thank you, that is already a compliment to a chef like me.”-I said.
“Should I start building my own restaurant too?”
“Just make sure you won’t do the same dishes like mine or aunt Helena. It will be hard for you to make a blast.”-I said. She nodded.
“You have a point. But I like working in the office so I guess I’ll just work part-time in aunt’s Helena’s restaurant and yours either.”
“You’re still young but you wanted to work that hard? Are you sure about that?”-Peter.
“I’ll try to do multiple jobs and save money while I’m still young. I wanted to take care of my children and focused on them when they’re 10 to young adult years. That is the years that they need to guided correctly.”-she said.
“Exactly. They’ll start being curious and can easily be persuaded and influence by the environment and society. We really need to be there for them.”-I said.
“Are we really ready in starting a family?”-Asami. Sora suddenly stop from picking some meat.
“Not ready yet?”-Amellie. She took some meat.
“I’m just scared that I might failed being a good wife and a mother like our mothers.”-she said.
“Dad said to me that a good wife and a mother needs a supportive partner. That’s why we women should pick the right men.”-Amellie.
“Is Sora not that kind of man?”-Ethan. She suddenly look at him and smile.
“He will.”-she said. Sora’s face gives off an expression of relief.
“Relationship will be successful if the couple will work together. We shouldn’t get worried when we found that right person.”-I said.
“Cheers!”-we all said. We enjoyed the rest of the food. Instead of driving home we all stay here.
