After finishing everything, Leo sat cross-legged and waited quietly for the arrival of the Droughtwalker.
Just now, the mountain wind was howling, but now there was no sound at all.
The Droughtwalker arrived even faster than Leo had expected. More than an hour later, its tall and terrifying figure appeared in Leo’s sight.
What surprised Leo was that the arms that the Droughtwalker had severed before had grown back exactly as they were before. It seemed that the monk had already passed away.
Leo felt a little uncomfortable in his heart since after all, it was thanks to the monk that he survived.
After climbing to the top of the mountain and seeing Leo sitting calmly on the ground with his legs crossed, a hint of surprise flashed through its eyes. However, it didn’t think too much about it and walked towards Leo step by step.
“It seems like you’ve been waiting for me here for a long time. You’re very aware that you can’t escape. Don’t worry; I’ll quickly absorb your soul so you can die more easily!”
Leo ignored what it said completely.
Finally, the Droughtwalker entered the Draw the Earth as a Prison, Taiji Bagua Formation. Leo quickly formed hand seals and shouted, “Lock!”
The ground beneath the Droughtwalker’s feet flashed with golden light, and a huge Taiji Bagua Diagram appeared.
Seeing this, the Droughtwalker was startled and took two steps forward, attempting to escape the formation.
However, as soon as its body touched the edge of the formation, it was forcefully repelled back by a powerful energy.
The formation had been triggered, creating an invisible prison that imprisoned the Droughtwalker within.
The Droughtwalker became greatly alarmed and began striking out in all directions with its fists.
But no matter from which direction it attacked, it seemed there was an unbreakable barrier, impervious to the Droughtwalker’s furious assaults.
Leo knew that the formation could not last for too long. He performed a hand seal towards the sky.
High above the mountaintop, the clouds started to gather.
Incredibly, the clouds were golden, carrying with them a majestic celestial power.
The power of heaven and earth began to surge, causing a look of fear to appear on the Droughtwalker’s face trapped within the formation.
An overwhelming aura of malevolence emanated from its body as it roared in anger, like a desperate trapped beast.
“Boom!”
A thunderous sound shook the earth, and a golden lightning bolt struck Leo, instantly enveloping his entire body in golden electric currents.
Despite being struck by lightning, Leo emerged unscathed. His hair stood on end, his eyes turned crimson, and his aura soared rapidly.
The Droughtwalker, which had been struggling and striking within the formation, suddenly quieted down, wearing an expression of disbelief.
“The power of the heavenly way… to be able to harness the power of the heavenly way, how is this possible!?”
After being struck by the golden lightning, Leo felt as if his body was no longer under his control.
A mysterious force entered his body, manipulating him to slowly raise his right hand.
The golden electric light began to gather in his right hand, and the aura of the entire mountain peak became chaotic.
“The divine punishment of the heavenly way, to eliminate demons and evil!”
A solemn voice resounded from Leo’s mouth. As the Droughtwalker looked at the lightning forming in Leo’s right hand, a look of despair appeared in its eyes.
Amidst the Droughtwalker’s defiant roar towards the sky, the golden lightning in Leo’s hand struck towards it.
The lightning struck the Droughtwalker’s body, reducing it to ashes everywhere except for its right foot.
Within the formation, electric sparks flickered, and a golden sphere enveloped the remaining right foot of Droughtwalker, slowly sinking into the ground at the mountaintop.
The golden electric light dissipated, and the formation vanished, restoring silence to the mountaintop.
The might of the heavenly way was so formidable. With the power of the heavenly way, Leo killed the ferocious creature Droughtwalker and sealed its remaining limb.
After the electric light vanished from his body, the sensation of being out of control also disappeared, and Leo breathed a sigh of relief.
Three years of life in exchange for such results-worth it!

Somewhere in Langstel
“Mr. Oktrar, all three of our people are dead,” North Carver spoke respectfully as he stood before Demon Cultivator Oktrar.
This news angered Oktrar, who exclaimed, “They can’t accomplish anything and only bring failure. What a bunch of idiots! What about the Droughtwalker?”
“The power of the ancient Droughtwalker’s remaining limb was too strong, causing the successfully refined Droughtwalker to undergo a mutation,” North Carver replied.
“After the mutated Droughtwalker killed our people, the monks from White Dragon Temple and Leo appeared,” he continued.
“Leo again!” Oktrar’s hatred for Leo was evident.
Oktrar had been manipulating events in Golden Blade Village in South City for hundreds of years, only to be exposed by Leo.
After the ancestral shrine of Golden Blade Village was demolished, Oktrar’s formation and aura were disrupted, forcing him to leave the underground shrine.
If Oktrar’s cultivation hadn’t recently recovered to thirty percent, he would have personally killed Leo.
“Go on,” Oktrar said coldly.
“After killing the monk, the Droughtwalker chased Leo to Panlong Mountain. At the peak of Panlong Mountain, Leo killed the Droughtwalker and sealed its remaining limb,” North Carver explained.
“How is that possible? How could he be a match for Droughtwalker?” Oktrar questioned.
“Mr. Oktrar, judging from the scene, he must have made a heavenly oath and borrowed the power of the heavenly way,” North Carver speculated.
“Borrowed the power of the heavenly way…” Oktrar pondered.
“Mr. Oktrar, what should we do next?” North Carver cautiously asked.
Oktrar contemplated for a long time before slowly saying, “It is now certain that Leo is a Cultivator. He must be hiding some secrets. For now, do not make a move against him. Observe him closely in secret.”
“Yes!” North Carver respectfully complied.

When Leo returned to the village, it was already afternoon.
Entering Lacey’s house, Leo only mentioned that he had eliminated a lonely spirit in the underworld. As for Jasiah’s condition, Leo explained that he had been contaminated by something unclean in the cemetery.
Using Maverick’s ceremonial tools, Leo drew a talisman and handed it to Lacey.
“Mrs. Carpenter, get a bowl and burn the talisman paper into ashes. Then pour the rooster’s blood into the bowl. The rooster’s blood will turn colorless and transparent. Make your son drink the colorless and transparent rooster’s blood completely.”
“In three days, your son’s face will gradually return to normal, and in a week, he will fully recover.”
Amidst Lacey’s repeated expressions of gratitude and under the reverent gaze of Maverick, Leo and Coral left.
Returning to Langstel, after having dinner, Coral first took Leo back to the clinic and then drove back home herself.
The next morning, a beautiful woman named Fire Rose arrived at the clinic.
Fire Rose called Leo outside the clinic and said directly, “Leo, we have a mission.”
“What mission?”
“It’s not easy to explain in a few words. Come with me,” Fire Rose’s beautiful eyes carried a hint of seriousness.
“Where are we going?”
“To the military district. The mission location is quite far. It’s better to arrange things at your clinic in advance,” Fire Rose responded.
Leo nodded. Since he had benefited from WONDER and had already joined the organization, he couldn’t refuse the first mission.
After making simple arrangements at the clinic, Leo got into Fire Rose’s car.
