I yawn. I have been in chapter 97 of my wife’s 300 chapter manga. Everyone are loving his work because a 300 chapter manga ends in just 3 years and they’re curious about the life of her pen name, Amano Hikari.
“Not yet sleeping?”-she said. She slowly sit up and she looks sexy because she’s still half sleep.
“I’ll. You knew very well that I give time to read your manga. I’m really fascinated by your imagination.”-I said and sit on my side. She suddenly stretch her hands and give me her puppy face.
“Hug me.”-she said. I smiled and push her to bed.
“Had a nightmare?”-I ask her and cuddle her.
“Uhm. A snake is flying towards me. It had a feather like how they describe angels.”
“Go back to sleep then or do you want me to sing our favorite song?”-I mumbled. She nodded. I started to sing her and later on I can tell that she’s already sleeping.
“Good night, love.”-I said and kiss her.
Daytime had come, she took care of tying my neckties. She look at me again.
“There you go my handsome husband. Goodluck and make sure that you won’t tired yourself up okay?”
“I will. How about you? What time is your class today?”-I ask.
“It will be 8:30 in the morning. I only have two classes in my business course and in culinary will be a single subject. This semester is all about the on the job training’s that I’ll go through.
“I’m happy to hear that then. You will be starting to work in the company by next week right?”
“Yes. I might be attending my school once every week that’s what my professors said. I’ll be seeing you more often then.”
“Well, yes. Practically. Here you go, your good to go.”
“Not yet. Where’s my kiss, hmm?”
“Wait, what? A kiss? I already…uhmnn…”
I smiled after kissing her. I embraces her.
“I’ll fetch you up later. Maybe we should dine together with Sora and Asami.”
“uHM. This Sunday maybe. Tomorrow will be Sora-kun’s flight back here.”
“Okay then. I’ll see you later.”-I said. But she followed me until the car way.
“Be careful in driving. I’ll see you later.”
She kiss me in my cheeks before I get inside the car and drove it to the office. Mom and dad will follow later on. I choose to go to the office early because of some certain matters that I haven’t finish yesterday. I smiled while driving.
“I’m happy that she took a step that I feared to do. I really love her.”-I mumbled to myself.
Peter Brown
His secretary let me in without asking my best friend. Maybe because he is not that busy or any people that he’s talking with.
“Peter? Why are you here at this hour?”
“I just want to visit you.”-I said.
“Stop using that phrase. It gives me goosebumps. But seriously, Peter. Why are you here?”
“Nothing important. I just wanted to tell you that my girlfriend wants us to have a double date with you and Amellie.”
“When? Wait, what if this Sunday? I told Amellie to ask Asami and her fiancee to dine with us. Why don’t we have a triple date that night? Maybe in our rest house?”
“Barbecue party? Uhm, why not?”
“Wait, when did you have a new girl again?”-he said.
“Oh, before I forgot. My new girl is a cousin of Asami’s fiancee. She is Satoh Luna.”
“Cousin? A Japanese girl.”
“Yes, but she’s good in English so I don’t need to worry about communicating to her. If that’s the case then we’ll go.”-I said.
“That’s settle then. You know that place right? Or shall we carpool to serve energy?”
“Much better idea.”-I said.
“All right then, we’ll see each other after lunch on Sunday. I’ll fetch you two in your house or her place?”=he ask.
“In her place. In one of our condo buildings.”
“Okay.”-he said. We chat for a couple of minutes before I left in his office. I didn’t realize that she message me. I open it. Fetch me up around 4 maybe, I’ll be finishing my papers for my business.
“It’s already 3, I should go to the office first and took my things before fetching her up.”
Later on, she’s standing in front of the offices where she took her permits and papers for her restaurant business. I open the car door for her.
“Are we going to eat outside or I’ll send you home straight?”-I ask and start driving.
“Send me home. I have groceries in the house, I’ll cook something for you.”
“Uhm. Great. I can be able to taste your dishes.”
She smiled and when we get home. She just serve tea for me and change her clothes. I help her in slicing the ingredients.
“Itadakimasu!”-we both say. It means let’s eat and thanks for the good meal.
“Uhm! It was so delicious. You’ll make a good wife.”
“Why? Are you proposing to me now?”-she said. I choke and that made her laugh.
“Kidding, but why not?”-she said and wink at me.
“Let’s date first.”-I said. She nodded and shrug her shoulder. I told her about our plan this Sunday.

Before going to school, mom and dad talk to me in the library. I can tell its a serious matter.
“We need to tell you this because you will be working under your husband’s supervision this Monday. And also for you to stay on guard. We only saw this yesterday after he passed the reports to us.”-mom said. Dad speaks too.
“The collaboration with a billion tech company in France will give us a problem. The woman that they’ll be sending for that collaboration is Tyra. Yes, it’s Ethan’s ex-wife.”-he added.
“We will surely talk to her and warn her but I want you to be vigilant to her. Remember that the last time that the doctor talk to us, it is still dangerous for your husband to know the truth even almost a year had passed after the accident.”
“Make sure that you’ll get ready. We don’t know what kind of mind that Tyra has. But one thing is for sure, she is spoiled brat and materialistic. We should guard her against Ethan.”-dad.
That suddenly bothers me. What if Tyra will start to harm my marriage? I don’t want him to remember the truth! Damn.
“What should we do? What if Tyra tried to rekindle the past and Ethan might start to fall to her again? What if he will get seduced?”-I ask.
“That’s why we need to make sure that he won’t get harmed by her. So please, make sure that he will only look at you. I can see that Ethan’s gaze to you are more passionate and true than he do to Tyra long ago. Promise us that you won’t lose to that bitch, okay?”-mom.
“Amellie, sweetie. If things are getting outhanded, just tell us. I can handle her and let her see who is the superior and what I can do to ruin her life. Trust me okay?”-dad. I nodded.
“Okay dad and mom. Don’t worry. I’ll make sure that I’ll guard my marriage.”-I said. They both smile and I bid my farewell to go to school today.
Saturday had come, I open the door of his office. I saw him busy in reading and signing some papers. I put our snacks in his desk and stood on his back. I started to massage his shoulder. He moans.
“Ahh, thank you love. That’s great. I am really tired. Thank you.”-he said.
“So much papers?”=I said. He nodded.
“Yes, this is connected about the collaboration of one of our company. That will help each company to grow more and tried to expand in much bigger market around the globe.”
“Mom and dad said that the person they send is a woman name Tyra Locke.”-I simply said.
“Yes. That’s her name. I feel like I heard that before but maybe just nothing in concern.”
“Is she beautiful?”-I said. I am trying to know if he didn’t remember her at all.
“I think so. But I don’t know, I haven’t seen her yet. She will be working to the company next week.”
“What if she’s beautiful and talented, let’s say she’s the woman of your dreams…uhm…”
“What are you trying to say, love?”-he said.
“Nothing. Nothing. Let’s have some tea instead.”
He suddenly grab my waist and made me sit in his lap. I look at him. He took a piece of cake and eat it. His teeth are holding the cake and he suddenly kiss me and give me a taste of the cake I bake.
“Uhm. It taste delicious.”
“Who, my lips or the cake?”
“The cake of course.”-he said. I hit his chest but he held my hand and look at me.
“Of course its your lips. And I knew what your trying to say. Trust me, these eyes will only stare on you. I promise.”-he said.
“Make sure or else I will use chopstick to take off those eyes.”-I said to him. He laugh on my threat.
“Yes, ma’am!”-he said in a soldier tone.
Tomorrow had come and we decided to fetch Luna and Peter first. They come out from their building.
“Hello, Amellie-chan.”-she said. I wave back.
“Hello I’m Satoh Luna. I can’t believe that you two are dating now. That was really fast.”
“I confess to him and make sure he will say yes. I knew he can feed me well.”-she said. We end up laughing and he drove again to fetch the other two.
“Hi. I’m Satoh Sora. Asami-chan’s fiancee.”
“Nice meeting you two. Before I forgot, I’m Ethan Andrews, Amellie’s husband.”-I said.
“Nice meeting you also. But you look like a Korean. I mean you look like a K-pop idol.”-Luna. He drive again.
“Many people said that, but I’m half Korean and I think that blood is much stronger than my English blood.”-he said.
“I see. Just tell us if your tired driving. We can change you.”-Luna said.
“Don’t worry Luna, their rest house is just an hour drive. We will be there later but first we need to buy something for our dinner.”-I said.
“Okay then, we don’t need to sleep.’-Luna.
“I will slap you anyway if you sleep.”-Sora.
“Do you want to die my cousin.”-she said to him.
“Ohh? We can settle our score by playing jack ‘en pon.”-he said. They face each other. Ethan smiled while looking at them in the rear-view mirror.
“You two are quiet enjoying to watch.”-he said.
“We’re like this always. Sorry for the bother. Jack ‘en pon!”-Luna. Sora wins.
“Thrice to beat.”-she said. But again, he won. She raise her bangs and Sora flick her forehead.
“Let’s play again later.”-Luna said. I laugh softly.
