“You, calling my name, is an insult to me. Call me master!” Maniwa’s voice was icy cold.
Jessica trembled in fear and quickly knelt down on the ground.
“Now you may speak,” Maniwa said.
“M-m-master, I have found out where Leo is located. Please decide what to do,” Jessica spoke with a trembling voice.
“Get out of here!” Maniwa spat the words from her mouth.
“What?” Jessica raised her head, not understanding what Maniwa meant.
“I told you to get out of here!” Maniwa kicked Jessica’s shoulder and flipped her over like a turtle on the ground.
Maniwa knew very well that if this woman could kill Leo, it would be the biggest insult to the Koken family. Sending Jessica to kill Leo was just a useless way for her to vent her anger inside him.
Jessica crawled up from the ground while shaking all over and crouched at Maniwa’s feet. Looking at this lump in front of her, there was not only disgust but also nausea in Maniwa’s eyes.
“If you don’t leave now, then die here.”
Jessica didn’t dare stay for another second and left the room rolling away as fast as she could.

That day, Leo was teaching Shiloh how to diagnose patients when he heard some commotion coming from the pharmacy area.
Leo frowned and got up from his seat leaving Shiloh behind before walking towards the pharmacy area.
“What happened?” Leo asked Sarah directly.
Sarah replied with an angry expression, “Mr. Bloomer, someone used counterfeit money to buy medicine; I’m about ready call 911.”
“Counterfeit money?” Leo furrowed his brow even deeper.
An old lady rushed up towards Leo apologizing repeatedly, “Mr. Bloomer, that was money I received last night when selling things; it definitely wasn’t fake last night but when I took it out of my pocket just now, it had become counterfeit money! I really don’t know what happened. Please don’t call 911.”
“Where is this counterfeit money? Let me take a look.”
Sakura stepped forward and handed one piece of counterfeit currency over to Leo.
Leo carefully examined it. It looked like an ordinary hundred-dollar bill with rough printing quality and blurry colors which differed greatly compared with real hundred-dollar bills on market shelves.
In theory, as long as this woman wasn’t mentally disabled, it was impossible for her to accept the counterfeit currency, nor would she use them to buy medicine. This situation was quite bizarre.
Leo pondered for a moment, then looked at the woman and said, “Ma’am, I believe you didn’t intentionally use the counterfeit currency to purchase medicine. Let’s end it here. I’ll take this.”
“Thank you, Mr. Bloomer, for understanding,” the woman quickly replied.
Leo waved his hand and said to everyone, “Alright, everything’s fine now. Let’s resume the normal process of buying medicine.”
In the evening, after finishing his practice, Leo took out the note and placed it on the ground. Then, he took out the Bronze Little Crane and placed it on top of the note. Finally, he folded a piece of talisman into a small paper crane and placed it in front of the Bronze Little Crane’s mouth.
With his right hand forming a seal, Leo tapped the Bronze Little Crane, and the note beneath it started burning.
After the note burned completely, a yellow light shot out from the mouth of the Bronze Little Crane and landed on the talisman paper crane.
The talisman paper crane caught fire and immediately transformed into a shimmering white crane the size of a moth, flying in circles in the air.
The little crane let out a soft chirp towards Leo and flew out of the window.
Leo stood up and followed behind the little crane.
This was a technique called “Crane Guiding the Way,” and Leo planned to use it to uncover the truth behind the note.
As the night grew deeper, they arrived at a place called Tofu Alley.
Leo hid in the shadows of Tofu Alley, waiting silently.
Patiently waiting until almost midnight, just as he was about to give up, a chilling gust of wind suddenly swept through the alley entrance, sending shivers down his spine.
Then, he saw a young woman dressed in white slowly walking towards the alley entrance.
At first glance, except for her pale complexion, the woman in white appeared to be fine.
Leo immediately sensed a strong ghostly aura emanating from the woman in white.
Upon closer inspection, although the woman in white seemed to be standing on the ground, her feet were actually floating just above the surface.
This woman in white was a ghost, holding a convenience bag in her hand.
A cold smile appeared on Leo’s face, and he was about to reveal himself and capture the ghost when he suddenly stopped in his tracks-let’s see where this female ghost comes from.
He took out the invisibility talisman he had prepared, pressed it against his forehead, and his body mysteriously disappeared into the dark shadows.
The white-clad female ghost walked past him without noticing anything out of the ordinary.
Leo quietly stepped forward, following closely behind the white-clad ghost.
The two entered the depths of Tofu Alley. Since there were no streetlights, the alley was pitch black and somewhat eerie, with the dilapidated houses adding to the sense of gloom.
The people here had long since gone to sleep, and except for the occasional barking of a dog nearby, there was no sound.
Leo felt curious. What was the white-clad ghost doing here in the middle of the night?
Just then, the white-clad ghost stopped in front of a dilapidated house, gazing at it intently.
The house had blue bricks, red tiles, and wooden frames, a typical old-style residence.
Perhaps due to years of neglect, the walls were mottled and the structure severely damaged, almost on the verge of collapse.
How could such a rundown house attract the attention of the white-clad ghost?
While Leo was puzzled, the white-clad ghost approached the house and placed a large convenience bag in front of the door.
After placing the object down, the white-clad ghost didn’t show any abnormal behavior. She simply took two steps back and continued to stare infatuatedly at the house.
As Leo speculated about the intentions of the white-clad ghost, a sudden coughing sound of an old lady came from the dilapidated house.
Immediately after, a gentle voice of a young girl followed, “Grandma, is your chest pain acting up again? Let me massage it for you, it’ll make you feel better.”
“Carly, you’re such a good girl. Cough, cough…” The old lady coughed again.
The expression on the face of the white-clad ghost became tense. She seemed to care deeply about the person inside the house but hesitated to go in.
As the coughing inside the house subsided, the color on the face of the white-clad female ghost gradually relaxed.
When the house fell back into silence, the white-clad female ghost sighed softly, turned around, and drifted away.
Leo’s heart stirred, and he continued to follow her closely.
Soon, the female ghost exited Tofu Alley.
Since this area was already remote, once they left the alley, they were not far from the outskirts.
The female ghost quickened her pace and headed towards the wilderness outside.
After about twenty minutes, the white-clad ghost stopped in front of a huge mound.
With a wave of her sleeve, her ghostly hand pointed into the void.
“Boom!”
The mound suddenly opened up, revealing a dark and eerie hole.
The ghost floated toward the entrance, about to enter the hole.
Leo bent down and punched the ground.
“Boom!”
The newly opened opening suddenly closed again.
The ghost’s face showed surprise. She swiftly turned around, her pale and eerie gaze sweeping across the surrounding wilderness. She let out a sinister smile and said, “I wonder which expert has come here. Will you reveal yourself?”
Leo removed the invisibility talisman and appeared.
