I felt like I have been paralyzed, I no longer was able to move my body. I felt intense pain in my body as if all the bones were breaking into pieces. I fell on the ground on my knee and my whole body was hurting so much.
“Mate” I still could hear as Eva said so.., wait for what? Mate? wasn’t it the voice I keep hearing from time to time… what the hell was going on? I tried to scream due to pain but I wasn’t able to speak. Just then Beast turned towards me and walk slowly. His beautiful black eyes were glowing in the night.
The pain in my body had reached its limit… I felt like I was locked up and all I could do was to watch, watch whatever I was seeing. I looked at my hand as it was in pain and then under the moonlight, it begin to change. at first, the hair on the hand was bushed up and then the hair was spread all over the body. I was so panicked as it happened, was I turning into a monster?
I was looking down as my longs fingers and small nails were gone, instead, it turned into claw wing long and sharp nails. My whole skin was burning and the bones feel like breaking. tears rolled down my cheeks in horror and pain. Just then I feel something warm beside me, I turned to see a beast standing there. He moved around and help me with my pain. He knew what was going on, he helped me to straighten my jumbled and paralyzed body. He stays at aside and stared at me for a long time as my body continue to change into an animal.
My hands turned into legs in front of me and I got a tail at my back. It was as if I was having a dream and everything around me felt so horrible to be true. but all the things were happening in real. One after another, my whole body turned and in a while, I was standing on four legs with a tail-wagging behind. I turned towards Beast and I was now just like him just my fur was in milky white color.
what on earth was going on? Did I just turn into an animal? Am I a monster? I had lots of questions inside my scared heart.
“Mate” Eva’s voice come and just then Beast stood up and ran towards the jungle…”Mate” Eva screamed as I ran behind him… what the hell? Was Eva controlling me? How come I’m running after him….?
We ran and ran until we lost the track of Beast. At a point we reach, we no longer could trace his scent. I felt sadness filing inside me along with anger. His intoxicating scent was lost into thin air. The animal into which I got trapped, sat on the floor with its head down and I too could feel the sadness.
“Riley” Eva’s voice came again… I opened my lips and this time I could speak “Who are you? How are you talking to me?” It was the first question that escaped my lips.
“I’m Eva, your wolf,” she said in a sorrowful voice…
“Wolf?”
“Happy eighteenth birthday to us,” she said in a sarcastic voice. All the information was hard to process at a time… I had a wolf? all this time?
“I keep hearing your voice all the time?’ i asked her “How can I be a wolf? I’m a normal human… I…” I said as I looked down to myself… even though all things sound like non-sense, I had no choice but to believe her because I was now a wolf… I was a monster…
“No, you are a werewolf and today is your eighteenth birthday, the day you can turn into your wolf form,” Eva said…
“Am I a monster now…?” I asked in a stammering voice.
“No you are a werewolf now” she replied.
“What about Mr. Gold? I mean Beast? And how did I become a wolf all of sudden?” I asked her as I remembered Mr. Gold running away just a while ago. Eva turned her head even lower at the question. I don’t know how but I was able to connect to her, I could heal her pain… Maybe because I was now inside her…
“I knew he was our mate,” She said in a small tone “But he leave me as soon as I came out… I have been waiting for this moment from the day I first saw him…” she got silent once again. I could feel the sadness coming from her heart…
I had a lot of questions in my heart but I don’t know how to ask her or what to start with… So I decided not to say anything for now. I keep looking at her as she was weeping without any sound, only silent tears flows down her cheeks.
“Let’s go to find him, I have a lot to talk to him, I have to ask him a lot of things, I need to tell him many things, I can’t be lost him the first time we met.” She said in a weak and horse voice.
“How can we find him? He’s gone, I can’t even trace his scent now…. he must be far away”
“Whatever it is, I need to get him now” she growled and stood up on her four feet ready to go for the search.”But where will we go find him?” I asked her with no clue where should I go…
“Everywhere,” Eva said as she paced up with the wind. I have been riding a wolf but today I was inside a wolf while running to the jungle. This was different and the vibes coming from Eva were scary, the sadness, the anger, the pain…
We searched for the Beast all over the jungle, just to trace his scent, we ran here and there to find him only to face failure at the end. I don’t have any hope to find him since he was the one to go away but she didn’t give up. she keep looking for him here and there.
It was until I felt a sharp pain in my body, it was a pain but most likely burn. Eva let out a loud growl in pain. I was also not able to keep up with it.”What is going on ?” I asked in a panicked voice, it was unknown what was going on with me…
“Heat is coming up,” she said to me as she begin to run at the speed of electricity. however, her footsteps become slower and weak after a while. It was because the pain in the body was only increasing, the pain was as if I was in the middle of the lava. Somehow she managed to get back to the end of the jungle. I can see the huge garden at the back of the purple gold villa. She moved a few steps more and her body started not to support her. Eva couldn’t take it anymore and passed out as her body fell to the ground.
When she passed out, I panicked and called out to her multiple times to wake her up but she won’t wake up. I don’t know how but I somehow was getting back the control of my own body. My body was turning back into a normal human. I looked at the paws that were turning into fingers and the fur on my body was gone… In a while, I was naked there on the ground. I tried to get up but the pain was so sharp that could no longer coup up with it. And at the end, I passed out right there.

I don’t know what happened after that. I thought I would die there but no, I didn’t die there. I was alive, I woke up into the warm cozy room of Mr. Gold’s villa after a while or something I thought. There was no one there around me when I woke up. I sat on the bed and looked down at myself, I was now in clothes. I gulped down at the thought that I was seen naked by someone. I looked around and recognize Mr. Gold’s house, I was overjoyed thinking that I was saved by him since I was in his house. I smiled even though I felt weak and down…
“Mr. Gold” I called out for him softly. But he didn’t answer but instead Eva spoke up “He is not here” her voice was sad and I could feel her sorrow through her voice.
“Not here? Then who take me here? Why isn’t he home yet?” I was confused as I look the night out of the window.
“HE never” before she could finish her sentence the door was pushed open and a woman came in with a sweet smile.”Who are you?” I don’t recognize her…
