Actually, Vance’s illness was similar to Paulino’s, a foreigner that Leo treated before. They both had muscular dystrophy. However, Vance’s condition was milder than Paulino’s and the cause of the disease was different. He only needed to use the Nine Extreme Mystical Needles technique for acupuncture and take medicine for three months to be cured.
Leo turned around and went to the pharmacy to get a small bottle of pills, handing it over to Curtis, “Take this medicine back with you and let your father take five pills in the morning, afternoon, and evening each day. In the afternoon, an eye-catching sports car parked outside of the Nameless Clinic.
A handsome young man wearing expensive clothes stepped out of it.
This young man was none other than Derrick who had been taught a lesson by Leo because of White Jade Softshell Turtle and had helped him find it later on.
Derrick straightened his shirt collar then looked up at the Clinic signboard before walking in.
When Derrick saw Leo inside, he greeted him warmly, “Hello Leo.”
When Leo saw Derrick whom he hadn’t seen for a long time, he was somewhat surprised, “Derrick? Are you here for treatment?”
“No,” Derrick shook his head then spoke frankly, “Leo, there’s a party tonight that I want you to attend.”
“What kind of party?” asked Leo.
“It’s just a gathering among some wealthy youngsters from Langstel,” replied Derrick.
Leo wanted to refuse but after thinking about how much effort Derrick had put in for him plus his special visit just now made it difficult, so he agreed, “Alright but I won’t stay too long.”
Seeing that Leo agreed made Derrick happy, “I’ll arrange an early start time so it won’t take up too much of your time. I’ll send you details on message.”
Derrick invited Leo with this party as an opportunity hoping they could become closer friends afterwards.
With his goal achieved, Derrick didn’t stay long at the Clinic. He drove off immediately after arranging everything related with tonight’s gathering.
At dusk, Leo drove his BMW towards their meeting place.
After arriving at the party venue, Leo realized it was a private club and looked quite upscale. There were already many luxury cars parked outside, almost like a car show. Although Leo’s BMW 7 Series was not bad, it looked dim and no one even glanced at it in front of the club.
Just as Leo found a parking spot and prepared to park his car, a service staff member ran over impatiently and knocked on his car window.
Leo stepped on the brake pedal, pressed down the window button, and asked puzzledly, “What’s wrong?”
“Sorry, there is no parking space here. Please find another place,” said the service staff member with disdainful eyes.
“But isn’t this a parking spot?” Leo got out of his car and pointed to the parking space.
The service staff member smiled faintly and pointed to several cars next to him, “Look at these cars compared to yours. Do you have any qualifications to park here?”
“They all have four wheels; what’s different?” Leo smiled helplessly. He didn’t expect that this private club’s service personnel had such high standards that they even despised BMW 730s.
“People can buy your whole car with just one wheel; can you compare? Besides, these are our private spots for members only,” said the service staff member.
“Are you so sure I won’t enter this club?” asked Leo.
The service staff member sneered, “Bro, don’t embarrass yourself here anymore. Our club has been booked tonight by Langstel’s big shots. Look at these cars; which one costs less than a million dollars?”
Indeed there were no cars worth less than a million dollars in the parking lot.
Suddenly an expensive Maserati President drove up.
“What’s going on? Service guy! Is there still any available spots?” A head popped out from inside of the Maserati impatiently shouted towards them.
The service personnel quickly walked up with an apologetic smile saying, “Yes sir! There is still some space left! Let me ask him to move away first.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he turned around facing towards Leo with coldness written all over his face, “Move your car now or else you’ll be causing trouble.”
What an arrogant person!
“What if I don’t move my car?” replied Leo coldly.
“Do you want trouble?” The anger showed on the face of that employee.
At this moment, the person driving the Maserati may have become impatient and stepped out of his car, walking over to the BMW and kicking it, “What a piece of junk car! Move it now and don’t delay my parking!”
Leo frowned. Young people nowadays really have short tempers. These wealthy sons have never suffered any losses since they were young, so they are so arrogant and ignorant.
“Watch my car for me. If there is any damage, you won’t be able to afford it,” Leo said to the attendant before pretending to leave without parking in a spot.
The young man saw this and kicked the headlight again while shouting at Leo, “Who do you think you are? I told you to move your car! Do you believe I will smash it?”
“You can try,” Leo said calmly.
Seeing that Leo was ignoring him, the young man felt furious. He took three steps forward in two strides and grabbed Leo’s shoulder from behind.
“Buddy, don’t be too arrogant or else you won’t be able to handle the consequences,” he threatened Leo.
“That applies more to yourself. Let go of me,” replied Leo coldly.
“I’ll let go if you drive away with your junk car right now!”
“What if I don’t?”
“Don’t? We’ll see how capable you really are then.” The young man sneered coldly as he kicked out at Leo’s back.
Leo turned sideways quickly and kicked back even faster. The young man fell down on his back rolling several times before stopping himself.
“What kind of thing are you?! How dare you fight back!” The angry youth gritted his teeth furiously.
“Don’t ask who I am; just know that I’m someone who shouldn’t be messed with.” Leo continued walking towards the club house without looking back.
The attendant was stunned by what had happened; someone driving a BMW dared hit a Maserati – did he not want his life anymore?
The attendant quickly ran over to help up the young man asking, “Are You okay?”
Shaking off his hand angrily, the young man bit down on his teeth tightly as he cursed, “F*cking waste! Who does he think he is trying something against me? What kind of sh*tty stuff is this? Refusing to move huh? Let’s play then.”
After speaking these words aloud, the youth got into his own vehicle and started its engine revving loudly before ramming into the BMW directly causing severe damage. Then he parked what remained of Maserati in its designated spot.
