Leo began to make hand seals, and a rune appeared on Marsh’s forehead. The golden light of the rune flashed and disappeared into Marsh’s forehead in an instant.
Another hand seal was made on the Bagua mirror above Marsh’s head, and the same rune that Leo had drawn on his forehead appeared on the mirror.
After a brief flash, a beam of golden light shot out from the Bagua mirror and shone onto Marsh’s forehead.
Marsh’s body began to emit a faint golden glow. If one were to probe with their spiritual sense, they would clearly feel that Marsh was filled with pure yang energy.
This kind of pure yang energy was not something an ordinary person could withstand. However, miraculously, Marsh seemed unharmed by it and his complexion even improved significantly compared to before.
Black energy began to emanate from Marsh’s body. Leo made another hand seal over the rooster which opened its mouth wide as all of the black energy flowed into it before being completely absorbed by its body.
The rooster’s bright red comb slowly turned black as it drooped down its head lifelessly after some time.
Before long, the rooster died on Marsh’s abdomen.
Roosters are natural enemies of sinister entities, but due to the intense sinister aura that the Ghost Cultivator had arranged within Marsh’s body, the rooster absorbed it all, leading to its death.
Leo’s move could be considered a desperate measure. The sinister aura planted by the Ghost Cultivator needed a host to bear it. Otherwise, even if Leo forced all the sinister aura out of Marsh’s body, it would automatically invade others.
At this point, all the strange phenomena on Marsh’s body disappeared, but he didn’t immediately wake up.
Even though the sinister aura had been completely eradicated, the dense aura had still damaged his body, and Marsh would have to endure a serious illness.
Retrieving the Bagua mirror and putting the rooster in a woven bag, Leo loudly called from outside the door, “Madame, Mrs. Godwin, you can come in now.”
The mother and daughter entered, heading straight to Marsh’s bedside. Edwina anxiously asked, “Leo, how is Marsh?”
“Mrs. Godwin, don’t worry, he is fine now, but he won’t wake up for another 12 hours. I will prescribe some medicine later, and after half a month of conditioning, there will be no problems at all,” Leo replied.
“Really!?” Edwina’s face lit up with joy.
Madame approached Leo and sincerely said, “Leo, thank you.”
Leo smiled and said, “You’re welcome. Now I need to find a place outside to cremate the rooster. Also, to ensure there are no future troubles, I need you and Mrs. Godwin to cooperate with me in a little act.”

At 8 o’clock in the evening, two women guarded the bed in the special care ward. They were Madame and Edwina.
Looking at the person lying unconscious on the bed, both of them wore expressions of discomfort and worry.
“Knock, knock, knock…”
Suddenly, there was a knocking sound at the door. Madame and Edwina exchanged glances, and Madame got up to open the door.
The moment the door to the ward opened, Madame asked cautiously, “Who are you…”
But before she could finish her sentence, she collapsed to the ground.
Edwina abruptly stood up from her chair and exclaimed, “Who are you? What do you want!?”
The intruder had a sinister face, and a flash of wickedness gleamed in his eyes. Edwina also fainted and fell to the ground.
The intruder walked to the bedside, a wicked smile curling his lips.
As he looked down and saw the person on the bed, his evil smile froze on his face.
In the next moment, he let out a scream and was sent flying backward.
Leo stood up from the bed, coldly watching the man. “You came quite early.”
“Cultivator!” the Ghost Cultivator’s face twisted fiercely. “I have no grudge against you, so why ruin my plans?”
Leo shrugged. “Because you shouldn’t harm people.”
“Very well!” the Ghost Cultivator smirked wickedly and suddenly turned into black mist, rushing towards the window.
Trying to escape?
Leo sneered coldly but didn’t pursue. When he attacked the Ghost Cultivator just now, he had applied a tracking seal. Even if the Ghost Cultivator fled to the ends of the earth, Leo would still be able to find him.
After waking up Madame and Edwina and giving them a brief explanation, Leo left the hospital.
Outside, he hailed a taxi but didn’t tell the driver the destination. Instead, he gave a general direction.
Taxi drivers loved such situations. After meandering and making various turns for about an hour, Leo finally got out of the car and paid the fare.
The place was quite remote, on the outskirts of the city.
There were only a few dilapidated buildings ahead, appearing eerie and terrifying in the dim moonlight.
The buildings had no lights, indicating they had long been abandoned.
Leo released his spiritual awareness and walked forward.
There was an open space in front of the buildings, and in the middle stood a person with arms crossed, motionless. It was the target Leo had been pursuing.
That guy seemed to be intentionally waiting for him here. Leo retracted his spiritual awareness, feeling a sense of unease.
This place was actually a Yin Ground!
Yin Ground refers to a place in the mortal realm where the Yin energy is extremely heavy. Yin Grounds naturally form geomantic patterns associated with Yin energy and are considered highly ominous places.
“You’re too slow,” the Ghost Cultivator’s icy voice sounded slightly displeased.
Leo smiled and replied, “You seem quite confident.”
“In this place, you’re undoubtedly going to die!” the Ghost Cultivator’s tone was self-assured.
“Is that so? Then show me your most powerful skills,” Leo said.
The Ghost Cultivator raised his right hand, and a long spear appeared in his grasp.
Leo activated his Spiritual Power within his body and vanished from his original position.
A “clang!” sound echoed as Leo’s right leg collided with the Ghost Cultivator’s spear.
The Ghost Cultivator didn’t budge an inch, while Leo, upon landing, was forced to retreat repeatedly.
The Yin location made the Ghost Cultivator even stronger, causing some bitterness in Leo’s heart.
Stabilizing his stance, Leo summoned the Blue Phantom Sword.
He charged at the Ghost Cultivator once again, and after the clash between the sword and spear, the spear suddenly disappeared.
In the next moment, when the spear reappeared, it shot toward Leo’s abdomen like a venomous snake.
Leo quickly retreated backward, fortunately, only his clothes were scratched on his abdomen.
The spear missed its target and transformed into a black python, lunging at Leo’s head.
Leo thrust the Blue Phantom Sword forward, piercing into the python’s gaping mouth. The python suddenly disappeared, transforming back into a spear, sweeping toward Leo’s waist.
Leo employed the Mysterious Heaven Body Technique, narrowly evading what seemed like an unavoidable attack.
The Ghost Cultivator exclaimed in surprise, unable to help but praise, “Impressive footwork!”
The Ghost Cultivator wielded his spear skillfully, causing Leo to view him in a higher light.
Knowing that physical attacks wouldn’t yield good results, Leo retracted the Blue Phantom Sword and took out a Spirit Fire Talisman.
Activating the talisman, flames erupted all over Leo’s body.
With a wave of both hands, Leo sent two fireballs charging towards the Ghost Cultivator with unmatched momentum.
Leo believed that as long as the Ghost Cultivator came into contact with the extreme Yang Spirit Fire, even if he didn’t die, he would be severely injured.
The Ghost Cultivator remained undaunted, throwing his spear forward to meet the fireballs. The spear spun, forming an invisible shield.
