I looked up to him and he wasn’t even looking at me. So I didn’t took his hand and got up on my own bit my foot was misplaced and I stumbled a bit. Thankfully he was right beside me and he hold me by my waist.
I was facing the earth and my hands were hanging on the air where Mr Gold was holding me by my waist.
“Please pull me up” I pleaded.
“I gave you hands but you rejected it. Why should I even help you? I’m going to let you fall ” he said without any emotion in his voice.
I almost shake after hearing his words. ” I’m sorry please pull me up. I’ll listen to you please.” I pleaded.
“Say sorry ” he said.
I tried to get straight but it was of no use. I couldn’t help myself up. My whole body was hanging on his hand.
“Soorryy” I said without much sincerely.
“Did you finish or not? ” rhe girl from earlier come to the changing room and stood there frozen seeing us in that situation. She stared at us and turned back just like that and went out of the room like a robot. Mr Gold pulled me back and I was up straight on my leg.
I sighed and Mr Gold again reached out his hand for me. This time I put my hand on his and he took me out. It was first time for me holding some mans hand Likr this and we were in public. I felt a quiet embarrassed of course but I had no choice. I don’t want to fall here and there.
When we got out of the room, everyone was looking at me with a gasp. They looked at me and there was. Liam too. He had also changed his dress for the party. He was also looking hgood and shocked to see us holding each others hand in here.
Me Gold took me out of the shop. And i wasn’t that good in the hills. I wanted to change it. I worked up my courage and speak ” I can’t walk in these hills, I want another ” I said to him.
He looked at me once and then looked back to the Liam. Even though he didn’t said anything to Liam, Liam fled away back towards the mall.
However Mr Gold didn’t buy me another sandal or shoe. He took me to the car directly out of the mall. I walked up to the almost holding hand in hand with him.
I once looked at him and saw that he was smiling . He looked so good when he smiled. I couldn’t help but smile too…
We reach the car and the driver opened the car seat for us. Mr Gold helped me to enter the car and he followed me to the car. I sat there and sighed. This sandal was too hard to handle. I wonder how alk those girls like to wear this kind of things.
Liam wasn’t there yet so we waited for him to came to the car. It was so quiet in the car, only the breathing of three were heard there.
In a while Liam come with two boxes in his hand. He gave them to Mr and he got on the front seat. “Wear those ” Mr Gold said.
I opened the box and there was a beautiful pair of silver sandal but it had lower hill. It would be nice if the size of hill was lessen. I thought to myself as I opened the next box. To my surprise, there was also a sandal in silver there. But it was not a hill but it had flat bottom even though it was high.
The car moved and I opened the sandal that I was wearing and tried on another one in one feet and and another one in another.
I felt the flat ends easier to wear. So I put those sandals in the box back and let them rest in the seat beside me and wore the shoe with flat ends.
After that I looked outside, the car was going to a place where I have never been too. But I was quite sure it was something so rich society. We first passes some security guards. They seemed to know Mr Gold because they saluted him. There were big houses around here and they each had a big area for their yard covering from bug wall aside. It was hard to see where the house was from the wall.
After driving the car around those big hooded fir at least fiveteen minutes, we finally reached somewhere from where the car leave the main road and went towards a huge gate. The gate opened and the car came near it and inside was a huge mansion. There was a huge fountain in front of the house. And all the area was decorated with flowers and lanterns and lights. It seemed to be a mansion out of some fairy tale.
We get off the car as soon as we reach there and the driver took the car to the parking lot. There were a lot of people there wondering here and there. We slowly went to the entrance. It was so big.
There was As Bella and her dad at the entrance welcoming every guests. They smilingly welcome Mr Gold and smiled at Liam too but they didn’t seem to like my presence at all. They ignored me and asked Mr Gold to get inside. I and Liam followed behind him. We got inside.
Mr Scultz called one if the waiter and took two glasses of wine and passed it to Mr Gold and Liam. And then took another two glasses of wine and pass one to me.
“Thank you for coming here to extend our happiness. I’ll drink this for your support” he said as he drank the glass of wine in one go.
“Please enjoy yourself, I’ll be right back” he said to us.
“Of course, please go and welcome other guests “Mr Gold assured him.
He nodded and went back to the door to welcome his guests.
In a while, there was crowd of people wanting to meet Mr Gold. He seemed to be most demanded thing right now.
I felt a bit uncomfortable as many people started to surround Me Gold. I really wanted to go back home and stay alone.
I look around and saw there was a garden at the back side of the house and I went there. I ran to the garden and there was no one out there. A smile come on my face automatically as soon as I saw the calm place in this crowd.
There was a big fountain there and lots of flower kb the garden. There were lights everywhere so it was not dark there. Only at the places where there was big tree had shadows in the bottom of the trees.
I wondered around. I touched the flowers and the cold water of the fountain. It really calmed me down.
I sat on the edge of the fountain and was looking at the stars when I heard some commotion behind me. I turned back only to see a group of girls standing there with each glasses of wine in their hand.
I smiled at them but they didn’t smiled at all instead they smirked at me. I looked at them and recognized one of them.. It was Bella’s cousin….
She suddenly come ahead towards me. She had a cold expression in her face. She sat beside me “Hi.. ” I waved at her.
I looked at her and tried to smile but my smile vanished as I saw her eyes filled with anger in them.
“Hi.. Riley, I wonder you know me or not.. Or did you forget me after whatever you did to me? ” she said looking at me with eyed filled with hatred in them .
I was caught off guard of what she had said. I don’t remember if what I did to make her. Angry to me. I haven’t meet her after my back to the Golden.
“What are you talking about? ” I asked still unknown of what she was talking about.
“Ohh, so you really forgot all those after you did to her?” One if the girl came and sag beside me.
“Do you think it is good to just ruin someone’s life and pretend to not know anything? Do you think it is going to help? ” another came in front of me and stood there almost blocking my view.
“What are you doing? You are blocking me….” I said.
