This lake is full of memories now.
I roam around the lake for a while . I sleep on the grass for a while and then gaze at the sky. The sky is getting darker and darker.
I feel peace at this place. It gave my mind the kind of peace it need.
I look at the lake, it is so calm.. It is so quiet. I think i was just like this lake before I met my mate. I had a dream to find her and give her the happiness she deserves. I never wished to meet my mate. But she came in my life, destiny make me face her, the most unexpected person, the person I was unwilling to meet the most.
Life has like someone has just throw a stone on the water. It’s in chaos.
I tried to control Ray… But it’s not possible. He had done many things in these days…
I can’t make my promise go to vein… I can’t fight my destiny either. It was better if destiny plays it’s own game.
Let everything happen as it is decided in my fate. I will just let it go on its way until it comes on my way to fulfill the promise.
Sigh… I can’t control anything.
I came back from the lake before it was too late.
I went to a restaurant instead of going to the nirvana community .
I entered the resturant and ordered myself Some food.
Riley’s pov
I made the dinner today. I mean its always me who make it usually… And today too I’m making food.
I’m not that good on it. But i tried my best to make it good.
I made food for three. I know mr gold was going to came over to have food.
I waited for him for a long time. It’s already nine but he hadn’t came to eat today. Cami had already complained about it.
“Ley… let’s eat. It’s already nine. If he wants to eat he will came by himself. He asked you to make food but he didn’t asked to wait for him. ” Cami shouted angrily at Camila.
I looked at her, she really was furious.
The food on the kitchen seems cold too. I went in to the kitchen and reheat them. It was better to have food. He really will came by himself if he want too…
“Came out and eat , I have reheat the food. ” I called her out.
She came out of the kitchen in a while and rubbed her hands looking at the food.
“Well at least you decided to gave me food. I thought you were going to starve me to death. ”
“Shut up and wash your hands. ”
She went to the sink and turned on the tap. As she washed hands I filled her plate with food.
After the food was served, she came to the kitchen to take her food.
I feel some scent and I went out of the kitchen. I feel some mixed scent coming from outside. I don’t know what it was but it was so good .
I went to the door and turned the knob. Soon the door was opened with a crack.
As the door opened, Mr Gold was outside the door. He was in sweats.
He looked at me as I opened the door. Our eyes met and I feel the same feeling that I feel whenever saw him. It was so familiar yet so strange.
“Why are you here…??? ” Mr Gold asked me as he saw me.
“I… I was waiting for you… The food is ready already. ” I said to Me Gold.
“I’ve already eaten outside. ” He said coldly and walked to his room.
Willis’s pov
I never thought she’ll really cook for me and wait for me to came home. I never thought she’ll be waiting for me.
I was so excited and happy inside. It was so hard to hide my emotions. I felt so overwhelmed by the mate bond I have to ran away quickly inside.
It was a long night. I even dreamt about her at the night.
When i woke up in the morning, I felt so fresh and cheerful. I was really in a good mood now.
“Let’s go to our mate. I want to have something she made. ” Ray was also in a good mood.
I wake up and freshen myself. I took a shower and look at the mirror. Well I’m a handsome man. I wear my favorite clothes I have.
I thought for a while and called Liam.
“Hello sir. Good morning. ”
“Where are you? ” I asked.
I’m already at the company. Sir do you need anything? – Liam asked.
No, I just called to let you know that I’ll be late today. I’ll come after having breakfast. – I explained.
“Ohh.. Are you going to cook for yourself? Do you need me to order something for you? ” he asked me.
“No… I’ll be eating somewhere. ”
“Where? ” Liam asked without thinking.
“That’s non of your concern. ” I hung up the call already and threw it away.
I look at the time and it was only seven in the morning. I don’t want to seem so eager to go there.
I recheck my hair and clothes again. And then I went online looking for some news about the business world.
It was good Liam was my manager. Our company would have already went down if it wasn’t for him.
In a while I went to my mate’s home. I was expecting her to wait for me like yesterday. I don’t know what she had made for me today. I was so excited.
I knocked the door . But I found it was already opened. I went in without knocking anymore.
I heard some noises inside.
I went in and there were many people inside. Except for my mate and her roommate, Ethan and Jason was also there.
I felt anger growing inside me as I saw Jason in there. They were having breakfast together. My mate was in the kitchen making some breakfast and then they were enjoying her breakfast.
I went in and I wanted to take her away. I wanted to hold that Jason guy from his throat and threw him away.
I went in and scanned there. Ethan and Cami were on the table having breakfast. They were laughing and chatting.
I looked at the direction of kitchen and then there was my mate cooking happily. I saw Jason was going to kitchen with plate in his hand.
He really was trying to mess around. I felt anger inside me. I ran up to the kitchen. Everyone was shocked at my arrival.
But I couldn’t care less about that and went to her side.
Riley’s pov
I was making food while others were enjoying. I didn’t expect Me Gold to came suddenly. He came up to my side.
“Where is mine? ” he asked me as soon as he came to my side.
“Ehhh that…. ” I don’t know what to say because I didn’t expect him to came here for breakfast after all these.
I mean i cooked for him yesterday and he came after eating outside. He even don’t looked at me and went to his room.
“Why? Don’t you make anything for me? ” he asked me looking directly into my eyes.
“Why are you here? ” Jason who was just here with his plate in hand came to the kitchen and asked.
He asked me to make one more omelette and I was making that.
” ”
Mr Gold didn’t answer Jason but did he looked at him once. He was solely looking at me.
“Hey, I’m talking to you. ” Jason hold him by his shoulder and turned him around.
Mr gold didn’t move an inch but he hold Jason’s hand and removed from his shoulder.
He slowly turned towards Jason. Mr Gold was cold and aloof. He had a murderous aura around him.
After seeing his reaction Jason was blank for a brief moment. But he came back to his senses after a while.
“Why are you here ?” Jason asked again.
Mr Gold didn’t reply to Jason instead he picked up a plate from the side table and put the omelette on the pan that I was cooking.
“It’s not for… ” he glared at me coldly and I instantly shut up.
He put the omelette on the plate and went to the table with a fruit juice in another hand.
Ethan and Cami were looking at him too. They had already stopped laughing or chatting.
“Why is he here? ” Jason asked me.
“I’ll explain it to you later. Let him be. I’ll make you another omelette. ”
