Chapter 852 The Return of the Soul

“Mr. Becky, did your mother have a major illness before?” Leo suddenly asked.
Tony was taken aback and nodded. “My mom did have a major illness about a month ago. Her heart had some issues, and the hospital sent several death notices.”
“After my mother fell into a coma on her sickbed, the attending doctor only told me to prepare for the worst when he left the operating room after hours of rescue efforts.”
“But just minutes later, I heard screams from nurses in the operating room. My mother had miraculously come back to life.”
Tony attributed this situation to a miracle but hadn’t told Leo about it before. Now that he knew, Tony’s confidence in Leo grew even more.
Leo nodded as if he understood something.
He naturally had a solution for this situation.
Leo took out three talismans from his pocket and handed them over to Tony, “Put two of them in your mother’s left and right hands respectively, while holding one in your own left hand.”
Tony followed his instructions.
Leo muttered some words that Tony couldn’t understand with moving lips.
Suddenly, Tony felt warmth spreading through his hand holding onto the Talisman; it flowed throughout his body instantly. When he looked at his left hand again, Talismans were gone without any trace.
Emersyn’s hands holding the Talismans vanished at the same time, and then Leo said, “Mr. Becky, hold your mother’s right hand with your left hand.”
Tony, utterly bewildered, followed the instructions, and Leo’s hands quickly began to move.
At first, Leo’s hands changed gestures at a visible speed, but eventually, they became a blur.
This sight made Tony gasp in amazement.
What astonished him even more was seeing golden characters emanating from Leo’s now blurred hands.
These characters lined up one by one on the coffee table in front of Leo, resembling characters but also different from them.
Tony couldn’t understand any of it and could only stare in astonishment.
In truth, Tony had sought out Leo with a skeptical attitude, never having witnessed the extraordinary methods of a true geomancy master.
In his imagination, a geomancy master was nothing more than chanting spells, exorcising spirits, and burning symbolic papers and incense.
Soon, Leo’s hands came to a stop.
On the coffee table, ten golden characters stood upright in a row.
Then Leo formed a mudra with his right hand and pointed towards Emersyn’s forehead. The ten characters on the coffee table flew up simultaneously, each entering Emersyn’s forehead one by one.
After the ten golden characters entered his mother’s forehead, Tony felt a strange sensation and a warm feeling spread throughout his body, incredibly comfortable, like soaking in a pleasant hot spring.
A solemn voice echoed in the living room, as a golden light radiated from Emersyn’s forehead.
In this golden light, a figure appeared faintly.
Leo formed another hand seal and pointed towards the figure within the golden light.
A mysterious wave of energy spread out, leaving Tony feeling the impact, his face involuntarily tensing with surprise.
Once again, a miraculous scene unfolded. The faint figure gradually became clear, eventually revealing an image identical to Tony’s mother.
The figure then slowly grew in size, becoming the same as Tony’s mother. Leo pushed forward with his left hand.
The figure suspended in the air, assuming the same posture and expression as Emersyn currently sitting on the sofa.
Leo focused his gaze and shouted, “Enter!”
Simultaneously, he pushed his hands forward!
The figure was “pushed” into Emersyn’s body, merging into one.
Emersyn, who had been sitting straight, now tilted her head to the side, emitting a soft snore as she fell asleep.
Leo calmly stated, “Mr. Becky, due to her death and subsequent revival in the hospital, your mother’s soul did not fully return, leading to an unstable state.”
“This caused her to forget everything after the age of twenty, with her thoughts and memories frozen in time. I have now restored her soul. When she wakes up, everything will return to normal.”
“Mr. Bloomer, I’m truly grateful to you,” Tony said, looking at Leo as if he were a deity.
After resolving the matter, Leo took his leave. Before departing, Tony handed him an envelope.
Leo didn’t refuse, as accepting divination money could to some extent mitigate karma. As for the amount, Leo didn’t care at all.
A week later, after dropping Sophia off at the company, Leo drove to the Underground Fist Arena.
There was no particular reason for going to the Underground Fist Arena, just a casual gathering in response to Bob’s invitation.
While Leo, Bob, Bevis, and Chasel were enjoying beer and hotpot, the room’s door suddenly burst open with a loud bang, forcefully broken down from the outside.
The four of them, raising their glasses, looked stunned at the door.
Entering the room were two women and a man, the leading woman causing Leo’s scalp to tingle.
Maniwa!
It was that persistent Orientia woman, Maniwa!
Leo set down his glass, his expression darkening. “Maniwa, what do you want?”
“Mr. Bloomer, not inviting me to share hotpot makes me unhappy,” she said, intentionally feigning a displeased yet somewhat cute expression.
Leo’s gaze involuntarily moved from Maniwa to the elderly man beside her.
From his demeanor and expression, this old man was also Orientia, seemingly in his sixties, with small eyes emanating only a cold, piercing light.
Locking eyes with the old man, Leo couldn’t help but feel a sense of dread.
Simultaneously, Leo could distinctly sense that this old man’s strength far surpassed that of Yuriko.
Bevis stood up from his chair, pointing at Maniwa, and angrily said, “This is not a place for you to act recklessly. Get out!”
Leo intended to stop Bevis, but he was too late.
Suddenly, the figure of the old man beside Maniwa flickered, followed by a loud bang as Bevis’s body crashed heavily into the ceiling.
To an onlooker, the old man’s body didn’t move at all. Instead, Bevis inexplicably flew up from the ground, then heavily collided with the ceiling before crashing back down.
Looking up, they saw a huge depression in the ceiling caused by Bevis’s impact.
The old man’s voice filled with intense hostility, “Insolent rat, dare to disrespect the young lady, you’re on a path to death!”
“Damn it…” Bob couldn’t contain himself, swearing in anger, about to rush forward.
