I moved my car and finally I was in front of the hospital after such a long jam.
I gave the key of the car to the guard and went inside with the tiffin box in hand .
It was a good thing that the food was still hot inside.
I went straight to the elevator . I pressed the number of the top floor. It was my room or ward. The whole floor was my ward. It can be used by only me.
Ding
The elevator door opened and I came out of the elevator. I went to the ward with the food in hand.
I was imagining what will be her reaction on seeing that I had made her food. I smiled at the thought. It was a kind of sorry to her since I had made her sad this morning.
I went near to the door. I stopped there but I felt strange, something was not right. My wolf should have felt her presence here. Why didn’t the scent of vanilla and rose caming out of this room. Is she…?
I quickly pushed open the door and went inside. Sure enough there was no one in the room. The bed was empty.
I put the food on the bed and checked the washroom also but she wasn’t there either. I came back and noticed that there was no bag of her on the table.
This mean she was gone. I sat on the bed next to the tiffin. She was gone…. I made food for her myself… I came all the way along to the hospital to deliver her food and now all of it was a waste.
Did I hurt her that much that she left the hospital without saying anything? I began to think in my head.
While I was lost in my thoughts, the nurse came to the door and knocked it softly.
I looked up and she was the nurse who was treating her before.
“She left as soon as you went out ” the nurse said.
I looked at her without expression. I was right, she must be hurt by my words.
“I’m smelling her scent ” Ray said inside my head.
“She was here of course she’ll leave her scent.” I replied to him.
“No, it is coming from her ” Ray said pointing at the nurse.
I looked at her and wondered why did Ray smelled his mate on her.
“Did she left something? ” I asked her.
“She gave me this paper before she left ” the nurse came to me with a piece of paper in her hand.
My wolf who was hanging his head just now became alert at that.
I took the paper quickly from the nurse.
“You may leave.” I said.
She nooded at me and left the ward without saying anything.
I opened the piece of paper as soon as she was gone.
I looked at it. There was a clean handwriting on the paper and only a phone number and adress was written at it.
I recognized it was her address. I have remembered her adress from the last time I saw her resume. I look at the phone number and thought it must be hers. I took a deep breath and smelled her scent from the paper.
It was almost night outside. I don’t know if she had reached home safely or not.
I got up from the bed and came out of hospital. I drove the Mercedes back to her apartment. I just wanted to check if she had arrived safely.
It was already dark outside and the city lights had started turning on.
I reached to her community gate and didn’t get inside the gate. I parked it at a side. Last time I remembered, a lot of people were coming near it. They were checking who was inside, whose car was this… It was obvious in the middle class society to have curiosity to know who had owned the Mercedes if it is parked inside their community. I still remember, they were touching and exploring the car and some even took photos with the car untill they saw me inside.
That is why, I parked it outside the community gate today. I got out of the car and lurked in the shadows.
Of course I was a werewolf, and it was easier for me to go anywhere without being noticed.
I went inside the building. Thankfully I didn’t met anyone on the way.
My wolf smelled her mate around and I was rest assured.
When i reached her appartment there was no one. I peek inside and I saw her there. She was talking in her phone. I felt so good seeing her there.
Tok. Tok. Tok.
I heard someone coming. I ran and quickly hide behind a pole a bit far from her appartment door.
U saw Cami went in. I sighed and came out of the hiding place. I was much relived sewing Cami. At least she will have someone to help her…
I canme down the building and got out of the community.
Then I sat on my Mercedes. I drove the car and came to the highway. O was going towards the villa but in the midway I felt it useless to go there. No one was waiting for me there anyway.
I drove the Mercedes back to the hospital. At least there was her smell and my wolf will sleep in peace.
While I entered the hospital, one of the doctor came to me. He was the president and surgen in this hospital.
“Are you not OK sir? ” he asked.
“Do you need to check your health. I’ll personally check… ”
Before he could finish his words I raise my hands and he stopped talking.
“I don’t need any of that…. Just take care no one will disturb me ” I said as I went to the elevator.
“Sure sir” he shouted from behind.
I went in the elevator and pressed the bottom of the top floor.
When i reach there, it was as empty as it was before. But at least it was better than home. It has little of her scent.
I went on the bed and lied down there where she had slept. I felt there was much more of her scent on the bed .

Another day had arrived and I went to the office. On the way i had called Liam and asked him to prepare a set of clothes for me.
I had woke up late so I didn’t go back to the villa that night. I was directly going to the office from the hospital.
While I reach the office, people had yet to arrive. I went to the elevator and went to my office.
On the way While I was passing Bella’s cabin, I heard her speaking on the phone.
“I told you, I can’t help you.”
“……”
“Even if I’m your cousin, what is there to help. You don’t even know what was your fault. What would I say to him then? ”
“……..”
“Of course, I’m on your side but how can I help if I don’t know the problem. ”
I looked at her cabin, she was facing back to me. She was holding her phone and talking on it.
I didn’t said anything to her and went to the office.
After a while, Liam came with a set of clothes. I took a bath at the washroom and changed into new suit.
While I cane out of the washroom it was already office hours.
“Liam”
“Yes sir ”
“Go and check if Riley has cane to office ”
“Who’s Riley? ”
I glared at him.
“Yes sir , I’ll go and check it out. ” he said as he went out.
After a while he came back, and reported “In the records, there was two Riley in our office till today. One is at the production department and she is present today ” ke said smiling.
I glare at him. He was my secretary and he don’t understand what I was thinking wow.
“Another Riley worked in the finance department. She went to a village to settle debt the day ago yesterday. You sent her there and she hadn’t came back till today ” he said.
I sighed. She hadn’t came yet maybe she’ll came after her injury recovered I thought.
“I think she won’t came to office now. We gave her a choice to get the debt settled before office hours to save her job. But she never came back so logically she lost her job. ”
I looked at him with furious eyes. Ediot, she had twisted her ankle and wounded her shoulder.
Even though I think she will cane after recovery, I felt empty that she wasn’t here.
