“Go ahead, make your move!” Sakura faced Chloe without any fear in her eyes.
Chloe sneered coldly. “Very well. Next, I’ll break your hand with one move, then your leg with another, and finally explode your elixir field.”
“After I’m done with you, even if your father comes to save you, I’ll do the same to him!”
Henry knew that Sakura was no match for Chloe and his face turned pale. He was about to intervene when Leo patted Sakura’s shoulder and said playfully, “According to her words – one move breaks her hand, two moves break her leg and three moves explode her elixir field.”
As soon as Leo finished speaking, Sakura felt a strange force flowing into her elixir field along her shoulder.
Retracting his right hand back, Leo looked at Chloe teasingly. “Sakura will use three moves to defeat you!”
Leo’s words made Chloe and the other Human Ninjas burst out laughing.
What a joke! Just moments ago she had beaten Sakura without any resistance from her side. How could she possibly turn around now and defeat Chloe? Their strengths were not even in the same league!
After mocking them both for a while longer, they all looked at Leo as if he were an idiot.
Noticing the expression on Leo’s face and sensing the unusual changes in her own body, Sakura suddenly felt a surge of strong confidence.
Chloe seemed to detect the shift in Sakura’s aura and, unwilling to waste any more time, violently swung her right hand. A cruel smirk appeared on her lips as she said, “Ignorant fool, I’ll make you regret being alive!”
As Chloe’s words fell, her figure flashed, and she threw a powerful punch toward Sakura’s head.
The force was immense!
Without hesitation, Sakura shifted her feet, clasped her hands together, and then pressed downward.
“Crack!”
A sharp sound of bone breaking echoed.
Chloe’s fist was just an inch away from Sakura’s forehead.
But this inch seemed like an insurmountable gap!
Chloe’s wrist was trapped in Sakura’s hands, exhibiting irregular twists.
“Ah…!”
Chloe’s entire body trembled, her face filled with shock as she looked at her pale wrist.
Her hand was broken!
This… couldn’t be possible.
Chloe and her comrades couldn’t believe what had just happened.
Henry and Chasel were also stunned by the scene.
They never expected that Sakura, who had been beaten to the point of coughing up blood just moments ago by Chloe, would be able to break Chloe’s hand with a single move.
Sakura was also stunned.
Although her block and counterattack just now came from a technique in the “Crushing Fist” style, it was done subconsciously.
Originally, in Sakura’s view, even if she blocked Chloe’s attack, she couldn’t possibly break her hand. But the fact that it happened right in front of her eyes made it hard for her not to believe it.
It was the power that Leo infused into her elixir field just now!
Sakura understood!
One strike and a broken hand!
Sakura was ecstatic.
Chloe was furious and shouted as she kicked towards Sakura’s heart.
Once again, Sakura reacted quickly. She pushed off the ground with her left foot and retreated eight steps before lifting up her right leg to deflect Chloe’s kick coming at an angle.
When Chloe’s attack ended, Sakura suddenly rushed forward three steps before sidestepping with her right leg and pressing down on top of Chloe’s foot which had been caught under Sakura’s left foot earlier.
There was another cracking sound as Chloe’s shin bone broke under pressure from both feet of Sakura.
Chloe let out another scream of agony.
“Now you can burst open her elixir field,” Leo said indifferently.
At his words, Sakura immediately retracted both legs before bouncing up with one swift motion aimed directly at Chloe’s elixir field.
This kick hit hard and fast, right into Chloe’s elixir field.
Chloe felt like everything exploded inside of herself. She wanted to dodge but it was too late!
“Boom!” A muffled sound echoed through the air as Chloe’s elixir field shattered into pieces.
All of Chloe’s strength dissipated instantly.
The next moment, Chloe’s eyes filled with shock and horror, then turned into despair.
Chloe fell to the ground, emitting a wretched scream. She attempted to struggle to stand, but instead, she coughed up a mouthful of blood, collapsing weakly back onto the ground.
This scene left Chloe’s companions, the disciples of the Strength Ring Martial Arts School, gasping in disbelief, cold sweat trickling down their spines.
Sakura had actually incapacitated Chloe!
In this moment, Sakura felt an immense admiration for Leo.
“The top disciple of the Strength Ring Martial Arts School,” Leo approached Chloe, “not even worth a single blow!”
Chloe’s face turned pale, her whole body trembling. At this point, she understood the insurmountable gap between herself and Leo. For the first time in ten years, she tasted the bitterness of defeat and humiliation.
“Leo, I lost today, but it doesn’t mean the Strength Ring Martial Arts School lost. I will reclaim this debt from you sooner or later!” Chloe vowed with determination.
Leo lifted his right foot and stomped on Chloe’s other leg. “I’m sorry, but your lower body won’t function anymore,” he said calmly.
As Chloe screamed in agony once again, Leo turned to the disciples of Strength Ring Martial Arts School and asked, “Does anyone want revenge?”
The disciples lowered their heads in fear. Even Chloe had been defeated; they would only be asking for death if they tried to fight back.
“Since none of you want revenge, I’ll start settling the score now. Cut off one of your hands and leave immediately or else I’ll make sure you end up like Chloe!” Leo warned with a cold glare.
A young man spoke up, “We are from Strength Ring Martial Arts School…”
Before he could finish his sentence, Leo slapped him hard across the face and knocked out several teeth. “Say another word and receive a reward of a slap!” Leo declared sternly.
“Sakura, since they don’t want to do it themselves, take care of them for me,” Leo ordered as he kicked the young man in front of him away. “Henry and Chasel, help her out a bit too. Afterward throw them all out into the street!”
“Yes sir!” Sakura replied obediently as she followed through with her orders while Henry and Chasel assisted her.
Leo clapped his hands and left the clinic; next on his agenda was attending classes at the school. Today, Leo was set to teach a course on “Traditional Medicine.” Upon reaching the school, he made a stop at the school’s pharmacy to gather some traditional medicinal herbs for his on-site teaching.
Working in the pharmacy was a young woman wearing a white coat. Her skin was fair, and she had long hair tied back in a simple bun, accompanied by a pair of glasses, giving her an intellectual and gentle appearance.
Though Leo wasn’t very familiar with her, he knew her name-Willow Calder.
Leo presented his credentials and informed Willow about the medicinal herbs he needed.
“Twenty grams of Agaricus blazei, and also twenty grams of Poria cocos, right?” Willow asked while preparing the herbs.
“Yes,” Leo nodded.
Willow quickly prepared the required medicinal herbs for Leo and handed them to him in a bag.
After expressing his gratitude, Leo left the pharmacy carrying the herbs.
On his way to the classroom, Leo overheard some classmates discussing something.
“Do you guys know Ms. Calder is on duty in the pharmacy?”
“Of course, I think Ms. Calder is the most elegant among our female teachers. She has always been my goddess!”
