Willis’s POV
I was looking at the stage while the stage lit up brightly and a girl and a guy went to the stage. The girl was very tall, beautiful and young. She was wearing a beautiful blue dress with its ending black and some black roses design on the lower part of the dress. She was also wearing a matching black high heels.
As for the he was also hansome and tall. He was wearing brown suit, white shirt and pant. He matched his tie with girl’s dress colour. He was wearing brown shoes. He was holding the girl’s hand.
“Hello everyone, we’re your host today. I’m Nick ” the guy said.
“And I’m Rosy. Welcome to the annual party of Golden Company. ”
Everyone’s eye went to the stage. Loud and long sound of clap was heard.
” Today we had performance of different department of the company and some other performance from the brach office from city B and D. ” Nick said smiling at us.
“But first, let us all give a big hand of applause for the CEO of Golden Company Mr. Willis Gold . Everybody I want it loud and long. ” Rosy smiled at everyone.
Then I raised my hand and take a quick look around. Then I sat back to my intial position. I acted normal, I tried to do normal activity but inside I was suffocating. My wolf wants to go to her because of her confused feeling.
I can listen her thoughts -I don’t know what was happening ? When Mr. Gold looked back, just a sight of him make my heartbeat this faster. I think if my mouth was a bit bigger, my heart would have came out in my hands. I had never felt this before. I just feel like looking at him nonstop.
I was confused why was she thinking this. Of course this will happen to mate. Is it because she was still not eighteen or there was something else?
She pressed my chest with my right hand to calm down. What is happening with her?? Why am she acting this way? I keep my gaze on her but she withdraw her gaze and looked down to the floor.
Bella who was absent till now. She appeared the left side of the stage as soon as her name was announced and came towards my table. Along with her was a girl closely following her and two other mens along with them. One of them were Samuel.
I got excited at that, this bastard. I shook my head at that. He refused me when I asked him but now he appeared with Bella.
When they reached the table, Bella and the girl bowed their head a bit for to me. I got up from my seat and went forward to hug the bastard.
“Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the the second young master of Roberts family, the CEO of Robert Group and best friend of our CEO, Mr. Samuel Roberts ”
He wanted to seat but I quickly pulled him and make him sat on my seat. I then seat to the opposite seat from Riley. Now I could see her directly.
I wasn’t able to focus on the stage. I was peeking at my mate again and again. Everyone in my table was laughing. The girl who came with Bella was Olivia. Olivia, Bella, Samual were seated here with me. They were laughing and chatting and here I was peeking at her again and again.
Suddenly i feel her curiosity about what we were laughing about? And the she sighed and thought – What am I thinking about ? He don’t even know me.
What? What do you mean by I don’t even know her? What on earth is being happened?
I shook my head and focus back on the stage.
A few people were performing on the stage. Snacks and drinks were being served to us. Everyone wast taking drinks and snacks. I looked at her she also have drinks and snacks in front of her. They chatted and had their snacks. Everyone was enjoying the party. One after another performance was taking place as well as annual progress of each department was being shown.
After some hours all the performance were done and party was eventually coming to an end.
“Now, let’s welcome Mr. Gold to the stage for his speech. ” Rosy said.
“Along with his speech our program tonight will be end officially. But you can still enjoy dancing and socializing with each other. ” Nick said.
“Or you can have your dinner too. ” Everyone laughed at Rosy’s remarks
“Now, we’ll be off. Mr. Gold stage is all yours. ” Saying this Nick took Rosy’s hand and take her down the stage.
I got up from the chair and went towards stage. I took the mike in my hands.
” Hello everyone. Thank you for coming here today. And thank you all for your efforts and hard work. You all are the reason that today our company is at this height. I hope you’ll work hard in the future and take our Golden Company to a new height. Once again thank you all. Please enjoy your night. ”
I said this words and I feel her thoughts she felt my voice deep and mesmerizing. Wow. She thinks that I was handsome and my voice was so good too. I felt solo good about her feelings.
After I gave the speech went down and went back towards my previous table.
Samuel welcomed me with a hug. Now the party was over and it was time for socializing.
I got off of the chair and moved around casually. All the CEO’s of the companies under my company came to me with drinks in their hand.
I and Samuel chatted with many of them and also drank lots of wine. I don’t wanted to get drunk but a lot of people were coming to toast me. Even though I only took one sip, the numbers were enough, to drink enough drink. It was a good thing that I was good in handling wines.
I looked around to look for her but she was not here. I was worried where she was? I wanted to go look for her but I didn’t get a chance to because a lot of people were caming to me toast.
“Dude, who are you looking for? ” Samuel asked raising one of her eyebrows.
“No one ” I shook my head and answered him.
“Don’t lie, I have been noticing you since you came here, you were looking at her ” he said smirking.
I got alerted at that. I looked at him. He was smiling. I looked to other direction and said “Don’t talk nonsense. I was focused on the stage ”
” You were the one to look at the girls except for the program ” I added.
He smiled at that and said in a lazy manner ” Who would focus on a boring party like this. It’s good to look at the girls around. I love girls” he said.
Olivia smiled shyly at that. Bella syood without reaction.
After a while I feel her around again. My wolf got alerted and quickly looked around. She was there with her friends. My wolf got jealous seeing her walking closely to that Rick guy.
After a while I felt her so nervous and scared. I looked at her with confusion and then I saw her coming towards me. I was happy that I would talk to her for the first time. I could hear her voice in real for the first time if she was coming to me. I have heard her only in her thoughts through the mate bond.
“Hello Mr Gold. I’m your employee . I came here to congratulate you” or “Congratulations sir for…. for your success? for earning profits? for being popular among girls?? for being powerful?” Aaahhhh what am I going to say? What if i can’t say anything to him? What should I do? What should I do?? ” she was thinking so loud in her head. She was thinking the ideas to talk to me. I smiled at her thought.
My eyes kept following her. She came forward and forward. But while she was on the mid of the way she ran somewhere out of my sight.
Why?
I didn’t felt good at that. She was supposed to come to me talk to me right?
I know i don’t like her, it is just the mate bond and the passionate wolf who made me feel this . But I wanted her to came to me and at least toast. I was her boss and it was a annual day. She should have came to me and talk at least, right?
But she just ran out of sight. Great ?.
