It can be said that the Three-Legged Divine Frog was Yuriko’s most powerful move and biggest trump card.
The appearance of the Three-Legged Divine Frog surprised Leo greatly. He could clearly sense that what Yuriko summoned was not an illusion, but a living creature.
Leo had never seen anyone summon a living creature before.
After the Three-Legged Divine Frog was summoned, Yuriko’s face turned pale. Obviously, she had consumed too much chakra to summon it.
“Divine Frog, eat him!” Yuriko pointed at Leo with a stern voice.
The Three-Legged Divine Frog let out a strange cry as if responding to Yuriko and then spat out its long tongue towards Leo.
Compared to the size of the Three-Legged Divine Frog in front of him, Leo looked like an insect.
“I’m not your food!” Leo sneered and flicked his right hand while dodging easily from the frog’s tongue attack.
An exploding tag attached on its tongue exploded under his control with a loud bang sound.
The Three-Legged Divine Frog cried out in pain and quickly retracted its long tongue into its mouth. It must be said that this huge frog was quite resistant to explosions as it only suffered minor injuries from it.
Yuriko leaped up onto the back of the frog directly after that while flipping her right hand over. A black-as-ink short knife appeared in her hand instantly under her control.
Under Yuriko’s command, the Three-legged divine frog jumped up from ground like a small mountain pressing towards Leo heavily at same time. Meanwhile, the short knife in Yuriko’s hand flew straight towards his neck targeting for kill shot!
Leo leaped up, landing on the trunk of the nearby pine tree. With another swift step on the tree trunk, he evaded the massive body of the Three-Legged Divine Frog.
After the heavy landing of the Three-Legged Divine Frog, it broke several pine trees, causing the ground to tremble as if in an earthquake, creating a large depression.
As Yuriko controlled the Three-Legged Divine Frog to turn its massive body and saw Leo’s location, a stunned expression immediately appeared on her face.
Leo did not touch the ground; instead, he balanced on the tip of a pine tree, suspended in mid-air like a deity. Above Leo’s head, dark clouds gathered, with terrifying lightning flashing through, adding an invisible but formidable intimidation.
Not only Yuriko but also Maniwa and Sakai were astonished. In Orientia, only Ninjas of the Heaven Stealth realm could achieve levitation by consuming their stealth power. Even among the advanced Heaven Stealth Ninjas, the maximum duration of levitation was only ten minutes.
Leo’s effortless low-altitude levitation left a profound impact on Maniwa and the others.
“This guy Leo is indeed an Onmyoji. Yuriko was right; I haven’t grasped the essence of the ninja arts in our great Orientia!” Maniwa muttered to herself, subconsciously clenching her fists.
After recovering from their initial shock, all three women looked on with eagerness and longing. They knew that mastering Atraria Yin-Yang Spellcraft would be crucial for their family’s success, even if it meant paying a high price.
Leo glared coldly at them before changing his hand gestures, “Now you will feel the power of thunder!”
A loud boom echoed through the air as Leo summoned lightning bolts from above with precise movements of his hands. One bolt shot towards Yuriko who was standing on top of Three-Legged Divine Frog; however, the frog managed to dodge it just in time.
The second bolt missed too but created a large crater where Three-Legged Divine Frog had been standing moments ago.
Undeterred by this failure, Leo summoned three more bolts which he directed towards different directions at once. Three-Legged Divine Frog struggled to evade them due to its size but managed to avoid two out of three strikes.
As the third bolt approached its target though, something unexpected happened: Three-Legged Divine Frog opened its mouth wide and extended its tongue towards it! The lightning struck directly onto its tongue but miraculously left no damage behind!
Leo couldn’t believe what he saw so he tried again…
The Three-Legged Divine Frog did not stick out its tongue this time, but instead spat out a bubble that wrapped around itself and Yuriko, enduring three heavenly thunderbolts.
After the third thunderbolt, the bubble surrounding the Three-Legged Divine Frog burst.
As seven more thunderbolts struck, instead of dissipating, the storm clouds grew stronger and more terrifying. The oppressive feeling became even more frightening as if brewing for an even more terrible attack.
This situation made Yuriko very wary. At the same time, she knew that Leo’s real big move was still to come.
Leo summoned his strongest attack talisman he could draw at present, a Level 3 Great Heavenly Thunder Talisman!
The Great Heavenly Thunder Talisman had nine attacking thunderbolts. The further back in sequence they were numbered, the stronger their attacking power became with the ninth being most powerful of all.
The reason why it took longer for these heavenly thunders to fall was due to Leo’s cultivation level restriction. If a Martial Cultivator in Spirit Venerable Realm casted this talismanic spell, then all nine thunders would strike within twenty seconds.
Naturally Yuriko wouldn’t just sit there waiting for death; she quickly formed hand seals with both hands and tapped them on Three-Legged Divine Frog’s back.
Three-Legged Divine Frog opened its huge mouth towards the electrically charged clouds in an attempt to spray them away with a massive jet of water column from its mouth.
This scene surprised Leo momentarily before he sneered, “Naive!”
The water column hit one spot on cloud cover creating a large hole but as soon as it disappeared, lightning gathered again becoming even larger and scarier than before.
Under the cover of dark clouds and thunder, the entire pine forest became gloomy, with the deafening roar of thunder. Yuriko’s face wore a bitterness deeper than if she had tasted gall.
Maniwa, who was hiding on the side, also had an extremely unpleasant expression. If she hadn’t experienced it herself, she would find it hard to imagine that the methods of the Atraria Onmyoji could be so magical and terrifying.
Moreover, she had a feeling that today’s Leo was even more powerful than the Leo she had seen in the capital before.
Yuriko knew that the thunder was imminent, and for the three of them, once the heavenly thunder struck, it would undoubtedly lead to either death or severe injury.
Yuriko gritted her teeth and commanded Sakai with a tone of urgency, “Sakai, quickly take Maniwa and leave this place!”
Maniwa, being the granddaughter of Kuki Harumitsu and holding a high position in the Harumitsu family, was someone whose safety Yuriko couldn’t afford to jeopardize if anything happened in Atraria.
