Yuriko’s eyes flickered with a barely noticeable light as she spoke, “Sakai, you’re a Fire Ninja. Haven’t you noticed that this place is different from other places in Atraria?”
After Yuriko’s words, Sakai was first stunned, then she closed her eyes and carefully felt it. She immediately understood.
When Sakai opened her eyes again, there was an obvious look of shock in them.
“Yuriko, I feel that my ninja power has become more active than before. Is it because of this place…”
“Yes. This place is more abundant in spiritual energy than the outside world. It greatly benefits cultivation and the advancement of ninja power.” Yuriko affirmed Sakai’s thoughts.
The conversation between the two made Maniwa show a look of surprise on her face, “Sakai, Yuriko, are you telling the truth?”
Although Maniwa herself was not a ninja, she knew that the foundation of ninjutsu lies in ninja power accumulation. Only when enough ninja power accumulates can there be qualitative change leading to advancement.
Therefore for ninjas besides practicing ninjutsu itself, the most important thing is to increase their own level of ninja power growth.
“Yes.” Sakai replied to Maniwa’s question.
Yuriko took a deep breath of air here and said with certainty, “Maniwa, if I can find where spiritual energy is most abundant here and practice there for six months, I will definitely be able to break through from Lower Human Ninja level to Middle Human Ninja level. In three years maybe even breakthrough into Earth Ninja realm.”
This made Maniwa even more shocked.
Junior Ninja, Lower Ninja, Middle Ninja, Upper Ninja, Human Ninja, Earth Ninja, Heaven Ninja.
Each major realm also has three small realms: lower, middle, upper.
Take Yuriko now as an example; her strength lay at Lower Human Ninja level. If she could advance to Earth Ninja rankings, her combat effectiveness would increase exponentially compared to being just a human ninja. This would directly raise Harumitsu family’s overall strength by leaps and bounds.
Becoming a ninja isn’t difficult but advancing beyond Middle Human Ninja level requires not only diligence but also talent.
Someone like Yuriko who broke through from Lower Human Ninja to Upper Human Ninja in their thirties is already considered talented among ninjas.
However, even so, Yuriko knew that it would take at least twenty years for her to break through from the Human Ninja realm to the Earth Ninja realm. And there was a possibility that she might never be able to break through to the Earth Ninja realm in her lifetime.
This just went to show how precious the Earth Ninja wer in Orientia.
It was precisely because of this that when Maniwa heard Yuriko say that she could reach the Earth Ninja realm after three years of training here, she was so shocked.
“Yuriko, if what you say is true, then even if I have to do everything in my power, I will make sure you have a place to train here,” Maniwa said firmly.
“Thank you very much, Maniwa,” Yuriko said gratefully.
Yuriko had never been married or been in love. She had devoted all her energy into training and becoming as strong as her father who was an Earth Ninja. It had always been Yuriko’s dream.
“Maniwa and Yuriko, wouldn’t it be great if we had a place like this in Orientia?” Sakai’s eyes were full of longing.
This statement made Maniwa and Yuriko exchange glances with each other. If Orientia could have such a place owned by the Harumitsu family or at least granted usage rights by them for their ninjas’ training purposes…
In just three or five years’ time, the Harumitsu family would definitely surpass the other two major families and become the strongest family in Orientia!
Thinking about these things in his mind made Maniwa’s eyes flash as she surveyed her surroundings before saying, “Yuriko, Sakai, have either of you noticed how much taller these trees are compared with those elsewhere?”
Both Yuriko and Sakai nodded simultaneously.
“This shows not only is there an abundance of spiritual energy here but also more vitality than other places. If I’m not mistaken earlier on, Leo must’ve used Yin-Yang Spellcraft on this land since he is most likely an Onmyoji.”
Sakai couldn’t help but ask, “Maniwa, are you referring to Atraria Formation which has long been rumored?”
“Yes, even if Leo isn’t an Onmyoji himself, he must’ve practiced Atraria Taoist magic.” replied Maniwa confidently.
Yuriko interjected, “Maniwa’s guess is correct. Our main goal in coming to Atraria is Leo. If we can obtain the essence of Yin-Yang Spellcraft from him, it will have a profound impact on both the Orientia Ninja world and the Harumitsu family.”
“Maniwa, Yuriko, according to reliable sources we’ve received, this place belongs to a martial arts sect called Seven Stars Sword Sect in Atraria and Leo is their esteemed leader,” spoke up Sakai.
“Atraria has an old saying that goes ‘know thyself and know thy enemy; in a hundred battles you will never be defeated.’ We should first investigate this place secretly before figuring out how to deal with Leo,” added Maniwa.
Yuriko nodded her head in agreement. “Sakai’s right. I can sense that spiritual energy is most abundant towards the north. Let’s go check it out.”
The direction Yuriko referred to as north was where Spirit Crocodile Cliff was located.
Under Leo’s arrangement, Spirit Crocodile Cliff had been completely renovated by Seven Stars Sword Sect. The original rope ladder had disappeared and was replaced by a winding glass walkway spiraling downwards.
Sakai who walked at the front noticed the glass walkway first and pointed her finger towards it exclaiming, “Maniwa, Yuriko! Look here! We can climb down from here!”
“I believe that the most abundant spiritual energy must be down there somewhere; let’s go down,” said Yuriko nodding her head confidently.
“Who are these insignificant people who dare trespass into our Seven Stars Sword Sect territory?” came an abrupt shout from behind Maniwa and her companions.
Behind Maniwa, a sudden stern shout echoed.
The three turned around to see a group of people approaching not far behind them.
At the forefront was a man around sixty years old, followed by eighteen elite disciples of the Seven Stars Sword Sect, all dressed in white uniforms.
The old man was Rocky Bernard, the elder in charge of punishment for the Seven Stars Sword Sect.
After recognizing the three women, Rocky first paused, then shouted again, “Who are you people, trespassing here? What do you want!?”
Sakai whispered to Maniwa, “Maniwa, these people should be Martial Cultivators from the Seven Stars Sword Sect, and their strength is not very strong.”
“We haven’t fully explored the secrets here. Knock them all out,” Maniwa instructed.
“Hi!” After nodding obediently, Sakai bowed and, in a swift movement, charged towards Rocky.
