From Rosemary’s words, Leo caught onto the phrase “the Meredith family” and instinctively turned to glance at Marina.
A thought suddenly crossed Leo’s mind. Could the powerful backing of Willa, the Meredith family, be Marina’s own family?
After pondering for a moment, Leo said, “It’s lunchtime now. Let me have my lunch first, and then I’ll come find you to discuss.”
“I’m also planning to take the sales manager of Willa out for a meal. Why don’t you join us?” Rosemary hurriedly suggested.
“I have a guest here, so I can’t leave…”
Marina’s voice suddenly chimed in. “Dr. Bloomer, are they your friends? You can invite them to join us for the meal. It’s no problem.”

Inviting Rosemary and the sales manager from Willa to join them for a meal seemed like a reasonable idea. If Willa’s powerful backing, the Meredith family, happened to be Marina’s own family, things would become much easier to handle.
So Leo said, “I’ve already ordered the dishes here. You can bring Willa’s people directly to Lotus Spring Garden. I’ll send you the location.”
After hanging up the phone, Leo returned to his seat and called over a waitress to add a few more dishes.
“Miss Meredith, have you heard of Willa, a cosmetics distribution company in the capital?” Leo asked before Marina could respond.
Before Marina could answer, Sandra interjected, “Willa is the largest cosmetics sales and distribution company in the capital. It has always ranked in the top three nationwide in terms of popularity and strength!”
“Oh, they’re that powerful?” Leo was quite interested in understanding these cosmetics distribution companies due to his wife’s involvement in the industry.
“Don’t be surprised. If I told you that Willa is just a small company under our Young Master’s umbrella, would you believe it?” Sandra’s face showed an arrogant expression.
Leo remembered that he had angered Marina during the time he treated her illness, so he didn’t pay much attention to her mocking tone and replied, “I never expected that Willa would be Miss Meredith’s family business. It’s quite a coincidence. Besides my friend, the person who will be coming later is the sales manager from Willa.”
“Dr. Bloomer, if you’ll be discussing business later, you don’t need to worry about me. My brother handles all matters related to the family company, and I’m not involved,” Marina said calmly with a faint smile.
Soon, the waitstaff began serving the dishes one after another.
Just as the dishes were being served, a man’s voice with a mocking tone suddenly sounded from outside the private room. “Ms. Fanny, it seems your company isn’t short on money if you’re dining in a place like this.”
Rosemary hadn’t expected Lotus Spring Garden to be such an inconspicuous little restaurant, and she felt somewhat embarrassed. She apologized, “Mr. Conley, please don’t mind. I’ll invite you to the best restaurant in Langstel next time.”
“I don’t mind. With you here, why would I mind? When we have lunch later, you should consider what I told you earlier,” Travis Conley chuckled twice, and his laughter carried a clear sense of lewdness.
The conversation between the two outside the door reached Marina’s ears without missing a word. There was no particular change in her expression, but she instructed Sandra, “Sandra, when Dr. Bloomer and the others discuss business later, you mustn’t interrupt or speak too much, understood?”
The words Travis had just spoken had already greatly diminished Sandra’s impression of him. Upon hearing Marina’s words, she nodded, “Certainly, Miss.”
The door was pushed open, and Rosemary and Travis walked in from outside.
Travis was dressed in an expensive suit, with his hair styled into a large pompadour, shining with oil.
Looking at his appearance, he wasn’t ugly, but he didn’t have any handsome qualities either. His overall demeanor was that of a successful person, but his beady eyes occasionally revealed a hint of lewdness.

Leo picked up a glass and poured Travis a drink, then went straight to the point, “Mr. Conley, I heard from Ms. Fanny that there are some issues with your company’s cooperation with Leo & Rose Cosmetics, is that right?”
